The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages

I had stayed here back in May 2015 with my friends when we unknowingly reached Munnar and decided to stay there. That stay was brilliant for what college-going kids demand ( view, food, and peace). My second stay was in July 2019 when I went there with my girlfriend. Remembering my last vacation in Munnar, I didn't hesitate to book a room at this place. We were upgraded to a bigger room than the last time. The room facilities are average but the biggest plus point of this place is the view from the balcony. The balcony in our room was huge and the views were mesmerizing. It is heaven located away from the hustle-bustle of the town. Yes, the road to approach this place is a bit challenging but we reached there in a sedan without any scrapping of the car. It's best to reach this place via Theni from Bangalore as you will reach this place first avoiding the rush of Munnar town. The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages staff was very polite and prompt. The room service for beverages hardly took 10 minutes and good was served fresh and hot within 45 minutes. Its a must stay place if you're looking for silence and beautiful nature in your vacation. There are no sounds of horns or anything else, its just birds chirping and clouds trying to enter your room.

Everything was just amazing. Rooms had a good view and staffs are extremely helpful. George and Bala thank you so much you guys are wonderful. The team upgraded us to a higher category room. The Wind Munnar staff were extremely hospitable and helpful they will try there level best to make your stay memorable one. Keep up the good work team. The thing which I did not like at all is the location of the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages. Too bad and also there is no signage board to guide you. You have to take Google's help if your network work. Mine did not work at all. Rooms were not well maintained floor was not clean properly I rated 05 only because of the view of the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages and also for the wonderful staffs.
Room was good and the view was amazing. Love the hospitality. George and Bala were extremely helpful. The thing which I did not like at all is the location and also there is no board to reach The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages you have to take Google's help, also there was no network we had to struggle a lot to reach the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages.

The resort is located far from chinnakanal, the resort will be easily accessible from the way to adimali and not a easy access as on November 19 due to road works going on, if from munnar you may have to take bison valley route which, only the vehicles with Min of 180 mm will pass through, the stay was comfortable, the service was good, nice and courteous staff, food served was fresh and finely cooked, the view from the room was good, the room offered to us which had hindrance from the roof, food is bit costly but you have to order anyway cause you don't have any other nearby places, the rooms were neat, bathroom was neatly maintained, the beds offered were neat and comfortable, please carry a mosquito repellent as the same is very necessary and will not be provided by the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages, as claimed no free WiFi available.

Location- The rooms are spacious and nice but The location is very remote where you have to pay Around 600 for an auto from The Town to The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages. It is Around 24 KMS from Munnar. 3/10 The rooms and bathrooms no complains here. Excellent view and both The rooms and The bathrooms are spacious having wooden flooring. Gets a 10/10 from there. The food this is a subjective thing but it was not up to The mark for The prices they charged. They charge full 3 star restaurant charges and The food is super at best. Personally, don't mind The prices if The food is Worth it. 6/10 Overall 19/30 If you don't care about The food and have your own vehicle, The room and The view is gorgeous else, it will be a steep climb.

Overall, our experience in the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages was really good. Food is decent, limited options though but freshly made. Breathtaking view. Can just sit there the whole day looking at the mountains and valleys. Approach road to The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages is bad. Take the Munnar town and never take the other route even google suggest so. Nearby places include a dam which is quite serene. Stay at wind to enjoy the view and having some good Indian food. Decent rate however please note that room is non AC and have only very basic facilities. Do not expect a typical resort room. But everything gets compensated by the view. Take 103 room, that's the best.

The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages is just fabulous. I liked it so much. Outside view is so good. Staff, service, cleanliness everything was amazing. Most importantly, Jorge (manager) was so helpful. He took care of us in every way. He even suggested few sightseeing from his end. The only thing was, staff was not prompt while dinner service. But I would recommended this The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages because of Jorge, service, view, etc. Every penny is Worth. We can ask staff to pay attention but room service, cleanliness, view, pleasant environment is more important. So go for it.

The location of my room was just at The edge of The cliff. The view was excellent. In The night it was like floating in The sky. The clouds were in my balcony. . The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages is very far from The Munnar City and it was a bumpy ride reaching there. The staff was very supportive and smiling. Food was ok, not many veg varieties. The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages is still expanding, not many facilities. Not much open space for children. They have one recreation room which has billiards, chess and carom. Overall a good stay.

We had a tough time finding The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages. However The The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages staff send Google location and we reached there. The advantage is The staff was available in phone on The other Side till we reach The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages. The room was superb. Very clean and fresh feel bathrooms. Hotel staff n restaurant staff were cooperative. Food is also good. But The quantity is less when compare to normal restaurants for The same price. We had a nice time in Wind Munnar

Overall a good experience, Good scenery and excellent food . The way leading to the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages is bad.

If you really want to enjoy Munnar and it's weather, just go for this The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages. Although it's a bit far from the main town, that also makes it special. Room and balcony area is huge. The views from the room are amazing. Clouds and the mist woke you up in this The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages.

Very nice view from The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages room. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Enjoyed our stay. As some of our group members were staying at Club Mahindra thanks to the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages staff who arranged for an auto rickshaw for our drop and pickup so that we could join the group for our site seeing.

The location of the resort is little remote but the vibe and ambience of the location is superb. Had fun at the swimming pool. The food quality and taste was excellent. Will recommend this for sure

So it was our anniversary and choose this The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages on basis of photos on MMT and it was more than expected, be it view, staff, food, hospitality. Whatever you ask for you get more than expected. I asked to decorate the room as a surprise for my wife and they did it so beautifully. I would personally thanks to The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages staff (Mr. Goerge, Babu and Muthu), they made our special day more special with their warm and awesome hospitality. Keep it up.

I visited this property 6 years back. Now & then there no change in its hospitality, ambience & food. I felt very relaxed around the nature

The wind is good place to relax. Don't expect any activities or places to roam around. Many of the tourist places are far away, though anaerangal dam is nearby and that too is a good place to relax.

I loved the location to start with, the view from the The Wind Munnar - Mountain Cliff Edge Cottages is beautiful, i am super impressed with the staff, their behavior and conduct was really polite and helpful. I am absolutely delighted with overall service and loved everything of this place along with food. A big kudos to the staff!
This resort has a great safety measures mechanism.

I stayed in one of their cliff edge cottages. Good cottage with a great view through the balcony. The view from the balcony is mind-blowing. The breakfast was really tasty. Also, the staffs are very friendly. They also assisted in our tour journey. We will definitely visit this resort again.

The cliff edge room offers a beautiful view of valleys. If you are considering a relaxed holiday then this is the pick, but if you want to visit attractions then there is nothing close by and takes a lot of time travelling!
