The Windflower Resorts & Spa

Good value for money the wind flower resort is located deep inside the rain forest. Away from the hustle bustle of the city. It’s approx 10 kms from madikeri and 20 kms from kushalnagar. The tourist attractions on both sides are therefore easily accessible. We stayed there for 3 nights in premium studios. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and we’ll ventilated. Internet was good and good entertainment options on tv. The restaurant food was good. The swimming pool is big and was clean. It’s like infinity pool you can get a forest view. They need to pay attention to the children play area. Trampoline was broken, carrom board was rough, no ventilation in the recreation room, table tennis table was also broken and racquet was not of good quality. The approach road to the resort (1km) is narrow and rough. You need to be careful if your car is low on ground clearance. Overall had a nice experience!

We have been there for vocation on 29th june. Resort is around 6km from suntikoppa and we get auto for rs. 150 staff welcomed us with welcome drink and tilak. Rooms were spacious. As it was raining, we missed plantation walk and bonfire in the evening. One thing i liked a lot is wide spread breakfast and meals. Food was excellent with buffet. There was also live cooking as in pizza, dosa were made fresh when requested. Swimming pool was well maintained. We also had spa which was awesome. Staff were well trained. They mention only price first and after having spa, 18% gst will be put. Accept only cash or upi. No card payment. One thing i didn’t liked is staff asked us 3. 5k for 4 hours sightseeing out of which they give only 2. 5k for driver. So asking these guys should be last option for sightseeing. Though 5 star rating is questionable but overall it was good experience.

I would say this is an overall decent place. It's probably a mixed experience vs. Expecations but overall it is satisfactory. Plus 1. Food is great. Many options especially for veg. Non veg is limited but nevertheless it would not be a disappointment. 2. Staff is cordial. Always ready to manage your special requests. 3. Location is very serene, natural, fresh. 4. Parking is ample and safe for your vehicles. 5. Pricing is absolutely reasonable considering it's all meal inclusive. Minus 1. Overall resort is maintained okish. But could be better. 2. Rooms are super spacious with all basic needs such as sofa, tv, coffee tea serving, ac, toiletries etc. But pols do carry toothbrush and paste as they don't provide it. Overall room quality is okish but not extravagant, if your expecation is top notch, be prepared for disappointment.

Property comes under the huge brand of windflower which helps is getting the bookings but, it’s really old and rooms are not at all maintained. Common areas have been taken care of but, rooms have been left as is. Door knobs not closing, tables dirty, insects in kettle, sofa seats smelling, dirty bed sheets are just adding to the bad experience. If felt in first few hours that problem is with staff but, later it was evident that staff is really nice and super helpful. Problem is they are under staffed. Only thing which you will surely enjoy is food. They have just aced the food and service in all meals. Also note, ~1. 4km stretch connecting property to main road is not in a good condition and can be tricky. Special mention to mohammad from restaurant staff, he was super helpful

Location is good except for the terrible approach road. Property is good but the amenities and services aren’t up to the level expected after paying this amount (bar is practically defunct, room telephones aren’t working, housekeeping don’t turn up in the morning, reception forgets to send bucket after telling them personally). Food is generally good, especially the breakfast spread. Hygiene can be improved, especially how the common areas are maintained during monsoon. Safety is non-issue, as it is inside a private property at a remote location; but the rooms are far away from the reception, and their phone devices are defunct and the business lines remain switched off afterwards 5 PM till 10 AM, so in case of emergency you are stuck inside the room! Please look into this.

Absolutely stunning experience at windflower resort coorg. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The accommodations were luxurious and impeccably clean, offering every comfort. The resort's amenities, from the pool overlooking the greenery to the dining options, surpassed our expectations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable, attending to every detail with kindness. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a truly exceptional getaway. Spa experience was pure bliss with wide range of treatments including massage, facial as holistic therapy. We left the spa feeling refreshed with sense of fulfilment.

The resort is located in the most pristine of atmosphere, far from the maddening crowds of the plains. Our early morning alarms were the chirruping of the myriad birds. The huge expanse of the resort is home to trees and plants of many kinds. A mini botany lesson. All of our needs were well looked after. The support staff is very courteous and is always ready to help. Our villa was neat and well maintained. A suggestion- it will be great if the food's quality could be improved further. If cost is an issue, they can have a limited spread. Rather than quantity, quality should be focused on. If that can be sorted, it will be an absolute bliss.

I had a pleasant stay with friends and 2 kids (3 years and 10 months. The property is 30 mins duration from madikeri town in the middle of a coffee plantation and jungle which is the usp of the resort. The rooms (suites ) are spacious and good. We booked all 3 meals at the resort. The food was (below) average, lot of margin for improvement. Even though choices in the buffet are there however the quality (taste ) of the food could be better. Live food counters were actually better. In terms of staff service and hospitality, i find it was good and all the services were provided in a timely manner. Staff was welcoming and supportive.

At the outset one would feel that it’s an old property. However, everything is taken care off by the excellent service that is provided by the staff. The resort staff ensure that you have a comfortable stay and enjoy your time with friends and family. The restaurant is excellent. We had 6 meals over a 2 day stay and not once was anything in the buffet repeated, excellent variety. A must visit.

Beautiful place to relax and rewind yourself with the aroma of coffee plantation. Wide spread of delicious food to bring up your tummy. A long walk inside the resort gives a good dosage of fresh oxygen and refreshes your mood. Stay to be remembered!

The property is awesome inside a coffee estate, away from the main road connecting to coorg. The hospitality is very good and food is also nice

The property lies between madekrri and khusalnagar in somwaerpet. Amazing property, amazing staff i really n joyed my stay. Infant friendly too.

Although it was a nice stay, it could have been better had more fun activities were added by the resort and linking road to resort from main road been in good condition and coffee plantation tour should also be included.

The stay was cozy and had all the necessary facilities. The staff was very courteous and hospitality was appreciable. The spa facility provided although was slightly over priced but the quality was commendable. Higly recommend the stay for a peaceful stay

We Stayed in this property with our kid in Apr’23 and had a memorable experience. The resort is inside a beautiful coffee plantation, with spacious and well decorated rooms overlooking the greenery. The bathroom also had an open shower area! Food at restaurant was very good with helpful and responsive staff. Buffet spread was wide and had lots of options. Mr Mohammed was very friendly and helpful. Plantation walk and indoor games were well arranged.. special mention to Mr Kumar for organising the indoor games which our kid enjoyed, as well as the plantation tour which he explained very nicely. Overall a memorable stay

It was good. No complaint exactly one it was terrible road down to the resort. I request you to make the road suitable for travel-ling down. Food was excellent proce worthy for one night stay
