The Windflower Resorts & Spa

this was my second time visit to the windflower resort, my previous visit was in the 2017. i strongly recommend this place for my family for this new year vacation. the rooms are spacious and clean and well maintained. the ambience was really good, kudos to the spa management, spa staffs did a splendid job. we enjoyed their service. coming to the room service, we had to wait for a coffee/tea for 30 minutes and which we have to follow-up and then a restaurant staff will ring the bell with a semi-hot coffee or a tea. we had to continually ring the dining services to order for the lunch. i showed my frustration and asked them to be on time and to to take menu and then they came on time. and apologized for the same. the taste of the food and beverages was normal i wouldn't say it tasted great. new year's eve party was fantastic we had a beautiful experience with our family.

Room spacious, well lit. Good spacious bathroom. We booked for 2 afults and 2 children, booking portal indicates room can accommodate that, but room comes with one king size bed only. Hotel demanded rs 1800 for extra bed per night, so had to adjust in available bed and sofa. Games room has only pool table, mini golf and mini tt, not a full size tt board, and board games only. Only outdoor game was badminton. Swimming pool not cleaned regularly, full of leaves. Restaurant/room service ridiculously expensive. Not even a room service cost card shared. Dinner in dim light, not to our liking, cannot detect anything visually wrong in food in the light. Cat moving inside restaurant not to our liking. Breakfast so so, mostly south indian foods, not much continental or non veg. Location is difficult to get cab or auto easily.

We had an enjoyable 3 nights at the windflower resort in mysuru. The rooms were very nice and house-keeping service was great. In fact, overall service levels were very good. However, we weren't aware that the property is under renovation. So there was some noise. But the big eye-sore was the fountain feature in the middle of all the rooms, which was not clean and well maintained. The breakfast spread was quite nice and the in-room dining service was decent as well. The restaurant experience was so-so. The approach road to the resort is not in good condition - one of the few such roads that we encountered in all of mysuru! feedback for makemytrip: there was insufficient description of the room types and that the rooms we had booked were on the first floor without any lift option.

Our stay at the windflower resorts at mysore was really awesome. It started out a little poorly on the first day as we needed to specifically request for towels, toiletries, extra sheets, which took a bit of time to be provided, but post that the service was excellent. We really loved the breakfast buffet. The lunch prices are a little high, but the food was excellent. The spa service was very relaxing. Location is perfect, we were get to several of the site-seeing places in less than 4km. Would definitely recommend staying here. The talking cocaktoo. It says hello, hi, i'm fine.

the front desk staff is exceptionally courteous, helpful, and wonderful to converse with. they are the absolute highlight of the resort. the rooms and entry areas could use some maintenance but were largely very decent and spacious. the restaurant was my singular pain point. their service left much to be desired initially. however, after providing some feedback they did put in significant efforts towards improvement, which is a great sign. on the whole, a very reasonable place to stay if you're traveling to mysore. would definitely recommend.. nothing else.

The property is quaint, it's a little old which one can make out from certain aspects but overall the rooms are huge. It is away from the main road and will give u the peace which one can't achieve at other The Windflower Resorts & Spas due to incessant honking and traffic noise. The lunch at olive garden was also really good. The property did an extremely sweet gesture of giving all of their guests chocolates, cake and a wine bottle for christmas. For kids they have ducks and a australian cuckatoo which is an added attraction.

Property is vast and nicely cleaned. Location is near to mysore palace, zoo. But it is placed in such a way that we will not see traffic or sound. Perfect place for relaxing in the nature. Olive garden food is the main catch everything taste just good and staff are very friendly. Service is also very good. Only thing you will see as cons are the rooms locks or the interior of the room are very old. But it will not mark any grey in your mind as we will rooms are very cleaned and hygienic. A memorable stay.

I have been holidaying at this property since last 15 years or so, though not so regularly. The only difference i noticed this time is on level of maintenance. There seem to be something lacking on this front, things like, red colored dusty stains being excessively visible across the premises, swimming pool bath rooms being poorly maintained, pool (playing) table balls were in bad shape. Otherwise, the property is still excellent. Hence giving 4 stars.

The serenity and ambience was good with courteous staff, availability of few quality sports equipment could have made the stay more engaging. The lack of such engaging activities are drawback.

Great stay with family of four i. E. Two babies, good location, good food taste, service and cooperative stuffs & most import they offer complimentary baby food and utensils cleaning.

I loved the verity of breakfast. Staff was so humble ans were helping us for each step. They have the option for live waffle. It was so yummy. Mysore masala dosa was excellent. Verities of desert made my mouth watering

Very big and beautiful l property, loved the amibance, room was also very big neat and tidy with beautiful view from balcony.

Wanted to try this place to be close to city and yet far away resort overlooks chamundi hills and is having good ambience

Had a very flexible check in and check out. The room which was allocated was the same which was booked. Thank you for the hospitality and making our trip very memorable.

Stay was good and enjoyed the olive garden food. The property is under renovation and property is old. You don't get the resort kinda feel.

Everything is fantabulous. I recommend this stay for others too

The stay was good, windflower has maintained the same quality of serenity and ambiance. Some amenities such as toiletries and bath robes could be provided, as other places for the same price are providing the same

It was a great experience. Service was great. Nice place to hangout with family and friends. And its not away from the mysore city
