The World Backwaters

Everything is good at The World Backwaters.. The behaviour during check in is like family person.. Always they behaves like a family member.. And they are there for the guest only.. At restaurant all facility is available.. All food are tasty.. Dinner and the breakfast... The place is best for couples.. If someone is planning to stay at The World Backwater there should be minimum 2days to enjoy the total The World Backwaters and the backwater.. But if someone is planning to travel alleppey this place not good.. 1st travel alleppey then book the The World Backwaters for 2 days.. Otherwise loss of 3hr The World Backwaters to alleppey and alleppey to The World Backwaters.. We faced a lot of problem to go to alleppey and return from alleppey.. The transportation should be avail there for any time.. To pickup from anywhere and drop to anywhere... For odia guest 12 to 13 person of The World Backwaters are odia.. And the owner of the The World Backwaters is also from.. Overall everything is best. Except the distance and transportation facility... Enjoy the The World Backwaters a lot.

Location* - situated on the banks of vembanad lake, offering breathtaking views of boats and houseboats. Slightly away from alleppey town, but autorickshaws can be arranged through the The World Backwaters concierge. *food* - excellent breakfast with a wide variety of dishes, including kerala, north indian, and continental cuisine. - buffet service with attentive waiters; juices and bakery items good. - special mention goes to the christmas dinner with live music, scrumptious meal, including fish and seafood dishes. - kerala cuisine, including thalassery biryani and calamari fish, was most liked. *service* - courteous and helpful The World Backwaters staff. - prompt response to guest needs. *accommodation* - clean and spacious room, particularly in the stream villa. - great view of the lake and the flowing stream inside the property. - swimming pool conveniently located next to the buffet area. *property and surroundings* - well-maintained and green property. - you can take a leisurely walk and enjoy the surroundings.

Rooms are good, variety to choose the room, airy well ventilated, maintenance good, resort is good place to spend a calm, peaceful day, with privacy & swimming pool is beautiful, well maintained with lounger chairs. The whole areas ambience is good & well planned everywhere. Even for rooms balcony bird prevention nest are there. Enjoyable. We would say same effect say 20% less than lake palace resort & at 40% cost only & only 12 km from alleppy, but near to Kumarakom. A morning walk through the area gives fresh feeling with plantations, small animals & birds chirping. Staff good. Overall lot of planning has been done & minute things have been taken care of. Room chairs, same butterfly design everywhere good.

I was in this property for 3 nights and this property is located near backwater. This resort is good for families who have kids and want to spent some peaceful time. If you want to explore and do backwater safari you have to go for alleppey which is 21 km away from this property and it cost you 3000- every time. So if you plan alleppey for backwater safari try to search The World Backwaters in main town. You will not get any convence out side this resort easily. You have to pure book and it cost extra every time. Although room and resort are very clean and hygienic and pool attached to my room also very clea. Breakfast and dinner was tasty and having good variety. Cons is distence from main town alleppey.

Resort was a little interior and as we were approaching it I was having second thoughts about my choice. All those apprehensions once we entered the resort. There was a warm reception as we entered. Resort location was perfect as it was next to the backwaters, kids were excited to see rabbits, turkey running around. Had a very good time in the swimming pool. There are bicycles to go around the resort, badminton court to send time. Food quality was fine. Only thing that we did not like is the salt-water that they provide in the toilet, washrooms.

Well maintained property with beautiful landscaping. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Lake view or swimming pool view ground or 1st floor rooms have a wonderful sunrise view. Front desk staff, restaurant staff and very supportive. Very good hospitality throughout the stay. All the staffs greet you with a smile always. Swimming pool was well maintained and neat. Enough parking space available. Good place to relax your vacation. Food has to be improved with more options of backwater karimeen/fish fry. Breakfast spread and taste is decent enough.

Superb in all respects- location, food, hospitality. Just beside vembanad lake. In alleppey and kumaramom tout have 2 options- stay in a houseboat or take a day tour in lake and stay in a resort. Happy i opted for option 2bas i was just with my family and not a group. In my opinion houseboats are best if you are in group. Else do a day trip in boat and stay in a resort. And no better resort like world backwaters. I regret staying here for 1 night. Great hospitality. Great dinner buffet. Great breakfast spread. Great location and views

Stayed for 2 nights at the property. The lawn and the pool were well maintained. Rooms were spacious, functional and comes with a balcony. The recreational facilities such as the board games, gym needs some maintenance. The chargeable activities like the speed boat, kayaking, spa are outsourced and were not available during our stay. Dining experience was good. Food was decent but the service was exceptional. The staff were so humble and hospitable. Marari beach and alleppey town are accessible by road within 30 mins.

We stayed for a day.. It was good time.. Good nice large property... Big cottages.. Warm welcome by staff in a traditional style.. Felt good.. Cycles were provided for guest.. Good clean pool.. Spa services.. Nice restaurant... Good location.. We explored full resort in night.. Had a bicycle drive.. We found some rabbits.. White cat in resort all were playing so happily like natural habitat.. Badminton court.. Indoor games.. Inhouse resort boating... Nice bathrooms.. Balconies in cottages.. Overall a very good..

Good location. Courteous and helpful staff. Excellent food. View from the The World Backwaters was beautiful. The highlight of the visit was private swimming pool which was a nice experience. Its a must visit resort.

Nice stay we had. Excellent hospitality. Each n every one with smiling faces gave us welcome. Well behaved n patience enough to handle any of our problem. They have kids outdoor games, bicycle riding for both kids n adults, swimming pool, shikhara boat ride, spacious rooms well maintained, can facility, restaurant ( but without ac) free breakfast was homely.

Very nice The World Backwaters with beautiful sight seeing, nice service done by both reception people and boys. Backwater view is good. Ordered sea food ... So tasty ... Regarding complimentary breakfast it is average. Lastly superb stay in Alleppey.

The view from the The World Backwaters was fantastic. Food is great and children enjoyed swimming and cycling in the property hidden gem highly recommended

We had a pleasant and relaxing

Only thing that we didn't like was food. It was overpriced and quality was poor. Paneer was burned. Whereas location was awesome. Clean pool and view of backwaters was romantic. There is no other food place close by.
