Thejas Resorts

Resort is located in a quiet area about 5-7 mins drive from the Sultan Bathery bus stop . . Rooms are in traditional Kerela style, made of wood, and were like cottages, with a parapet outside with armchairs. It was a experience, like staying in a mud hut - The resort overlooks a small valley/forest - There is a small restaurant (its not a full fledged restaurant, its more like a dining area), for the guests, where food is prepared after taking the preferences of the guests 3-4 hours before lunch/dinner. Although there is not much options in food, but the food served was traditional Malayalam food. In breakfast, bread and butter was also available. Should not be a problem for people without kids --Hospitality was great indeed. - They allowed early check-in and themselves offered us to check-out late, keeping in mind our odd bus timings. Really appreciate it - Basically, in my opinion its perfect if you just want to spend a relaxing/quiet weekend in a cosy place, away from the city life. The best time to visit may be in monsoons !!

I was not entirely sure about my decision when i initially booked the Thejas Resorts, primarily because of less reviewed comments for the Thejas Resorts, but i was glad i was wrong! the Thejas Resorts, it's location and the old kerala home architecture was a welcome change for the short stay. The evenings were pretty chilled out sitting in the porch and gazing at the distant hill under the starry sky. What stood out most for me was the service provided at the Thejas Resorts by every staff on the ground! it was truly a pleasure and i would go back here for another stay for the experience we had at this resort.
The best thing i liked about the Thejas Resorts in terms of following safety protocol during the pandemic was that after a room was vacated, it was left idle for 24 hrs and sanitized and only then was handed over to the next guest.

Awesome resort This is perhaps the best resort in Wayanad. If you book through apps like MakeMyTrip, Goibibo... You can get it at a very reasonable price. Even if you book directly, they give a very good discount. The interiors are marvelous, ancient Kerala architecture: Modified to the modern needs. Garden is beautiful with colorful flowering plants. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very tidy (best one we have ever seen). 24 hours hot water supply was available. Wi-Fi speed (service was 2 quite good for a city like Wayanad Complimentary Breakfast was good. The resort is about 2 km from main road. The staff is very friendly and humble. They are very helpful. This is best Thejas Resorts we have ever stayed

The room was very clean and neat. The interior was very different. There is scope of development in interior of room but overall it's very good experience regarding stay. The room service is awesome. The people who are helped me were also very nice and helpful. I will not recommend the food as there is no kitchen. The food gets prepared somewhere, and they serve it in restaurant hence it's not very good. But in the vicinity there are lots of food options available. Except food everything is awesome and if you want to visit waynad and wanted to be in traditional kerali home, and just chill its place you must visit this place.

Great stay at thejas resorts! awesome bunch of young guys there. I did not just stay but made friends with the staff. Siril manages the staff well and is very friendly. Arun and liju are great chefs and all aroud cool guys. Mahesh is the best room boy i have seen and helped me with many little things. I can't believe these are kids with just 6 months of experience in cooking cu z they serve such awesome mouth watering food! i also trekked with arun and siril at chettimoola and had the best trekking experience of my life in a while. 5 starts to thejas and staff. Will visit again the next time i get a chance.

This is a very nice place to stay. I stayed with my family. Rooms are constructed in a very detailed old kerala tharavadu style. Awesome ambience. Rooms were clean and tidy food was very good. Authentic kerala cusine was served. Only thing you have order food well in advance. Our room had an excellent view. Mornings were calm without any city noise though the resort is near to the town. Woke up listening to bird chirping and pleasant climate. Last but not the least - excellent hospitality by the staffs including chef. Definitely recommend this place for staying

We stayed at Thejas on 17th to 18th March. Its a small resort, designed like ancient palaces of Kerala. Room was small but very clean and extremely clean washroom. You need to pre order your menu for lunch/dinner, but can guarantee you that the food tastes amazing. Located very close to sultan bathery market so easy access to anything you might just need. Service was very good, very polite people. Only con, not enough space for kids to play and no spa. View was beautiful and overall a great stay.

Good stay and even better hospitality. The staff is very courteous, and they take care of smallest of your needs. We came here for a Weekend and it was Worth the spend. One of the advantages of staying at Thejas is its proximity to the market and some of the beautiful sites which are within 20-30kms. Food- they took utmost care about the hygiene. You can even try some of the local cuisines and I Am sure it won't disappoint you. Good job Thejas resort and team.

The stay was really good with antique vibes in and Around the resort!

Neat and clean rooms, excellent location, most courteous staff and service without frills are the terms explaining the Thejas Resorts. The location is mind blowing as it is in the corner of city facing valley and no city noise is there and it is a cool place to stay always. Plus are the factors explained above so you will really enjoy if you plan your stay there. Thanks for the staff once again!

The scenic beauty from the room is awesome. This has unique Kerala style rooms build with wood. We had booked Nalukettu. It has easy accessibility to the City. Food was good. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. Location was superb.

Beautiful location, excellent hospitality with warm people at the resort. The stay was cosy and has a lovely feeling and most of all one get spoilt by the sumptuous food. Looking forward to revisiting

Stayed here from 21st to 23rd Jan. 2018 and found this place Heaven. It is a Resort crafted from Collection of Antique Wood Carvings dating 150 to 200 years. The ambience is Superb, Service is Outstanding, Food is Fantastic. We have Pure Vegetarian Jain Meals only and then too could not have been so satisfied. Definitely Recommend this place.

This resorts are located in Excellent Location, Rooms are very clean and very neat. Homely food and was very tasty. I was staying 2 days with my Family we are very satisfied the services. Highlight is resorts staff they are treating us very smiley face

I had gone to this place in April with family, after Reading comments that food and service us excellent. It is bang on, no comparison for food and the cook, he is understanding and courteous to be called a perfect gentleman. The food was out if the world, we had mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian and he took care of both if them perfectly. He also shared his recipes. The only improvement, they offer dip tea by default which should be changed to regular tea

The staff is well behaved and very helpful. The ambience is very unique with 100yrs old look rooms, verandas! the food is authentic kerelian. One improvement needed is the parking and ac. Parking is small.

Room was making feel of ancient feeling and location was very good near city. Full of home feeling with personal services and cottages are well design. Can feel relaxation and even sightseeing are nearby to the Thejas Resorts.

Rooms are spacious, wooden based. Lawn of the resort is very small. Food is fine. Location is little inside but gps will make you reach. Weather is warm. Expected little more amenities in the room. Overall fine resort.

The place is a proper kerala architecture. Opt for nalukettu and you will be mesmerised with the aura of the place. Completely wooden structure from the ceiling to the floor. The door is an epic feel with wooden clamps and hinges. The classical wooden art and a beautiful painting gives the pure kerala feel!
