Care taker was supportive and simple man. Very neat and clean rooms. Location was easy to reach. Homestay is a form of hospitality and lodging whereby visitors share a residence with a local of the area (host) to which they are traveling. Thekkekara vagamon resorts are located in two different area, first one is in the city and second one is 200 m apart from city. I got the second property because the room which i had booked is already occupied, so the owner upgrade my booking without additional cost. The property was nice and peaceful. Surrounding all good.

Good location, walkable distance from the town, peaceful area, good budget location for groups and family. Care taker family also staying in the compound. So it is safe to deal with all things. Food is not available. But restaurant s are nearby. Safari jeep service also ready

Thekkekara is the best homestay in vagamon. The rooms are clean and neat and are maintained well. It has a great view from it to see at night and the early morning sun. The caretakers were so good and took good care of us from check-in to check-out. A place worth a stay.

Totally Worth it. Very economical. But good room. With nice amenities. Take the necessary things like towel, toothpaste and bathing soap with you as they don't provide them. Value for money. And nice hospitality. You will enjoy the stay.

Amazing place to stay. Good response from the care taker. Hot water 24*7. Wifi was a little weak. But you get amazing network connection here. Bathroom and toilets were properly maintained. Overall best budget stay.

The room was basic and clean, and the bed surprisingly comfortable. The staff were helpful, particularly akhil. He went above and beyond for us. Overall it was good value for money.

Images shared is not at all matching with actual. It is not even close. So don't get attracted by the images.

This place was huge and clean. View was good. They offered a trekking package and it was awesome. Caretaker was available all the time and he was very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at the thekekara home stay in vagamon. The host was very helpful for our needs in the vagamon, the room is clean and neet. And it has an amazing view.

The facilities and the rates are reasonable and we enjoyed the stay. Enough space for two people. Shelves, table, hot water, bathroom all are neat and clean
