I stayed at a hotel last night and had a very unpleasant experience. The reception staff was completely arrogant .  When I reported that the TV in my room wasn't working, the receptionist simply stated that the TVs in all rooms were broken. My question is, why is a TV advertised as included with the room if it's non-functional?  Furthermore, I was unable to turn off the air conditioning because the remote control didn't work. I asked the receptionist for help three times, but he ignored my requests. I eventually had to remove the main plug from the wall because the room was freezing cold. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable: The washroom was very dirty, with many roaches. The bed linens and pillows were dirty. The switchboard was broken. All the water taps were rusted and the room had an unpleasant smell.  This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, due to both the room conditions and the unhelpful staff. 

I slept well here because it was quiet. The room was clean when I arrived. Staff helped me with directions to places nearby.
