Treebo Cecil Resort, 600 Mtrs From Matheran Railway Station

Pros: - location: amid-st the jungle; nice secluded place for a peaceful stay. In the middle of famous tourist points so easy to visit the points. - food: buffet available for all 3 meals - breakfast (complimentary, lunch (optional - paid, dinner (optional - paid; food quality and taste are decent - staff: cordial staff accommodating almost all of your requests - room sizes: both rooms and bathrooms are large enough to easily accommodate a family of 3 to 4 - availability of horses, coolies, etc: horses and coolies were available effortlessly cons: - cleanliness & hygiene: bit of a concern maybe because of the climate and the secluded location (there was some fungus on the blankets and bed linen which they mentioned is because of the monsoon weather. There were a few insects roaming around - cockroaches, lizards, frogs, etc. - monkeys: the property has a lot of monkeys visiting them almost throughout the day. Do not put any of your food outside the rooms. Do not keep your room doors open.

Nice property, recently renovated and hence everything is new. Clean and spacious bathroom, big room however the bed and mattress were too hard, mirrors needs to be replaced. There is a need for a wardrobe, since it’s recently renovated i guess that too will be procured soon. Nice staff and good homely food. Wifi is not accessible in rooms which needs to be improved.

Met the expectation. The stay was really good along with two meals which were very nice. The kids had a good time. We had only planned for a day's trip. Should plan for more than a day's trip, so that enough time can be spent in the Treebo Cecil Resort, 600 Mtrs From Matheran Railway Station as well as outside.

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. The Treebo Cecil Resort, 600 Mtrs From Matheran Railway Station is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset.

Room was big in size, but no place to keep thing like wardrobe, variety of food was not availabel, hot water supply was at limited time only. Place was good and area also very near to station
