TRISHVAM TAPOVANA

We spent 2 nights in tapovana and i must say that it was such a memorable experience. It was a hassle free stay where everything functioned smoothly. The hilltop cottage was very spacious and neat. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was tidy. General service was excellent. We really enjoyed the food all the time. The food is expensive though, luckily we had a package and it kind of helped. There is a viewpoint which is just a two minutes walk from the dining area, and it is lovely to just sit and enjoy the sunset from there. The infinity pool too is good with a clean view of the distant hills. You have other traditional and olden games like pagade etc. Apart from this, there are cycles here, but they were not maintained well and it took serious effort to peddle them. You can also play foosball, archery, carrom, chess, badminton. I had booked a candle light dinner with birthday celebrations and i must say they had done a stellar job. The arrangements were done in the pool side and they made us extremely happy with the way everything was done. It's a new resort and few more activities are getting added. If the same standards are maintained, then there is no doubt that this would become one of the most sought after resorts in karnataka.

1. Tapovan is a little heaven in the middle of coffee estate, to relax and rejuvenate. 2. Location: just 4 hour drive from bangalore which is a definite plus. 3. Architecture: resort’s architecture is amazing with both luxury and heritage touch to the core. Amazing wooden pillars, late-rite stone cladding, luxurious teak wood furnitures, natural stone flooring gives the royal and heritage look. 4. Thotimane : one of its unique style of villa in luxury resort. House with central open courtyard, which takes you back to grandma’s time. This is perfect for group of 10 to 12 guests to enjoy with private and lavish space. 5. Food: multi-cuisine restaurant with awesome spread of south indian, north indian, chinese and more emphasis to local malnad flavour. 6. Nature and hill view: resort has got wonderful view of western ghats from every villas. 7. Amenities: banquet hall, infinity pool, ayurvedic spa, steam, sauna, jacuzzi, mock-tail bar, heritage games, cycling, indoor games etc pampers the guests. Must visit resort in western ghats region.

We had a beautiful stay. The property is very nice, quiet and peaceful. Staff is also very courteous and provide good service. Food is really amazing. Things that could be better - >the road leading up to the resort should be improved >there are some electricity issues, generator back up doesn't kick in immediately so for 5-10 mins you might not have any electricity >wifi only supports 2 devices >there was a bad smell in the bathroom coming from the drain (might have been only my room) >nature walk route should be significantly improved and the person guiding on nature walk could be a bit more engaging >spa massagers were "rubbing" more than "massaging" even after being asked to put more pressure

We went with family and friends and enjoyed thoroughly to the core. Property has got amazing hill views all around, with well maintained coffee and pepper plants. Heritage thotimane villa with central open courtyard provided a private space for our own gang, which we have not seen in any luxurious resort in india. Whole team liked the food, right from kids to parents to grandparents. The taste of the food is amazing, with cuisine spread from malnad, north indian, south indian. Infinity pool with heated jacuzzi along with amazing hill view pampers the guests to the core. I strongly recommend everyone to visit this property at-least once.

The overall experience of the stay was really good. The resort was well maintained, the staff were polite and attended to any issue we had. We stayed in a garden view cottage and the room was exactly how it looked in the pictures (bonus points to the restroom - good aesthetics and well maintained. Food was good nothing very special but decent enough. (we had only vegetarian food. Location is another great plus point for the resort. The only area of improvement is their wifi. We lost the network twice in 2 days for almost 3 to 4 hours plus mobile networks don't work there. So that was a minor inconvenience

The property's location is awesome, right at hill top. Had stayed at hill top cottage and rooms were clean and spacious. The resort is very beautiful & picturesque. All food items served from hi-tea, breakfast to dinner were delicious. Loved the food. The extra amenities at the resort like bonfire with music, private sunset view point, hi-tea, gaming area (had archery, tt, badminton, carrom and foosball) makes the resort a perfect stay ! only one suggestion - mini fridge in the room wasn't working but that's just a minor glitch in what we had a extremely pleasant and enjoyable stay !

It was a beautiful stay at tapovana. The cottages were clean and comfortable. The food was amazing and did not lack variety, with special attention by the chef to dishes from the malnad region. The servers and attenders in the restaurant and front desk were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The infinity pool with an adjoining mini jacuzzi over looks the hills & a small coffee plantation valley below. As a family, we had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend this place for a getaway from bangalore, especially to those with kids.

The location of the resort is very serene, very peaceful, food is good, they are very new property, still updating few things. The poor location &view is amazing, btw it does not have hot tub/jacuzzi as mentioned the view of the valley from the room are all been blocked by trees, for the facility & food menu it's bit pricy. Calm and chill place to hangout, away from all the crowd. The food and services were excellent. Try the tounge taster deserts

Main course did not serve at room apart from the stay was nice.

Nice, new property with very courteous staff. Few things need to improve like exhaust in bathroom. We booked 2 rooms one of which didn't have exhaust. And even one light/bulb wasn't working, slippers weren't there because they ran out of stock of slippers and didn't have spare bulbs. Basic amenities are ignored.

Roads are nice to reach at the location. Resort is at hill top and you get very nice western ghat view. Pool is the best pool i have seen ever. Best part of pool is jacuzzi. You would get complete relaxation from your journey. Food is awesome with varieties and chefs are really experienced.

The stay was beautiful. Located 20kms away from sakleshpur town surrounded by plantations and hills. The infinity pool has a breathtaking view. The rooms were also clean and comfortable. But the food was very expensive. Not too many options for vegetarians. Need to provide better option and good taste if you place a veg buffet at 1000 + taxes.

Tapovana resort is in the midst of a coffee plantation with an awesome view of hills. It's a new property and a part of it is still under construction. Our stay there was just splendid. Clean rooms with adequate furniture, good food (although choices are limited but adequate) and most import, very courteous staff. Would definitely recommend in order to unwind and enjoy calm & quite with nature.

It’s very very good location once you reach tapovan you fell amazing, breathtaking view, nicely developed property, limited rooms (3 type), food is good, very polite staff, room cleanliness is good, many games for kids, very beautiful swiming pool along with kids pools also, i was visit 26 jean with family. This place is new and rooms are well done. We took the hill cottage. The place has the tranquility which one looks for in such hill resort. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The infinity pool and the jacuzzi experience is very good. Not all the facilities are ready yet. The highlight is the restaurant. The spread and taste of buffet breakfast and dinner was very good. All in all a good experience.

It's a good place to stay in with well maintained pool, tasty food, and we get cycles as well to roam around inside resort. Little expensive, but worth the pay. Note, it's recommended to have your own vehicle as place is outskirts of sakleshpur

Had an amazing experience, it looks the same as it looks in the pics, what a mesmerizing view, nature at its best in the season of september, that is during rains, just feel it. Staff behavior are very good, very welcoming. Food is also good. Would highly recommend
