Tapovana The Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpur

The resort has a good location but the quality of food and facilities at the resort are average and not worth the prices for the property. The staff was courteous and supportive. The room was spacious but cleanliness has scope for improvement. The view from the room was the best part of the stay. The road outside the resort needs repair. There is construction/renovation going on at the resort so best to travel post 2025.

The location was in the middle of a coffee plantation with a great view of the mountains. The rooms were well furnished and the food was good. The property is well maintained. The staff was excellent.

First and foremost, Tapovan na is a scam resort. They have zero interest in serving customers and only looting money. They have terrible rooms, terrible food and very rude staff. I have sent photographs to make my trip about the insects in the room because there was a hole in the wooden furniture. Now when I informed the same to Tapovan, they blamed it that we had kept the windows open. However, their own staff contradicted them telling that it is because of a hole in the window that flies came. We could not rest for four hours in the midnight, and that will change our rooms twice. I recently stayed at Tapovana- The Fern Heritage Resort, Sakleshpura and had a truly wonderful experience. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, peaceful ambiance, scenic mountain views, etc. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful They were making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable & clean & however It would be great if the resort could add ramp facilities to make it easier for senior citizens and those with mobility issues to move around comfortably

Tapovana Resort major good thing is location and staff. Location is premium with amazing views and staff are very helpful and good. However comes with a lot of drawbacks. Room is very small for the price, you can’t just walk inside room with luggage kept inside. Lack basic facilities like hot water, clean glass for water. At a place like sakleshpura people would love to get some hot water for bathing but the water is just warm even after requesting. Food was average tasting but very expensive if ordered a la carte. We had all 3 meals included. Mr. Amit f&b manager was very helpful, as we travelled with baby he arranged dinner at room for us as we were not able to go to restaurant for buffet. Overall we can still get much better options for this price with good rooms and much better food options like Ayatana or Rosetta

Stayed in Tapovan Resort with family. We completely enjoyed our stay. It's located in very beautiful location. Place is very quite and calm. Very good view of nature. Went for nature walk in morning, it was very good experience.

Great place around the nature. Mesmerizing mountain and nature view. Wonderfully cooperating staff. Only last 1km road to the resort is very bad, might be difficult to drive during rainy season.

We had asked for rooms in same block they didn't arrange accordingly. The rooms were okayish not so well maintained including washrooms it had some kind of smell not well maintained. The food for lunch and dinner was good but starters need to improve they just had something related to potatoes only I have no clue why only potatoes used which will create health issues and morning breakfast wasn't upto mark so not satisfied. Overall it was an average stay here only thing we enjoyed is nature there that's the only reason people can go choose this stay otherwise not worth. Not willing to stay there again.

Resort is awesome .. only issue is when you try to go after sunset the location is 8 km inside the main road. Rest all is very good. Activities handler Krishna is also very good and very humble.

Tapovan the Fern felt like a second home to me.The staff at the Reception is so welcoming and friendly, especially Ragina, she is so perfect at her job.The rooms are luxe and the food spread is great. The location is so beautiful, totally mesmering.Worth visiting again.

tapovana property is overall good experience. property location is situated in the middle of western ghat with lush green valley view. Highly recommended for family trip from bangalore

The service was really good - very attentive staff. Cleanliness was decent. Views from the property were great. The upkeep of the property could have been better - the wooden railing of our balcony was broken and the iron was oxidised. The room flooring was discolored in some places. The shower area in the bathroom could be cleaner. The swimming pool is lovely, but a lot of people were getting in wearing normal clothes. The staff did not stop them or tell them to change to swimwear. The swimming pool water was mostly clean but we found some flies etc. in it. The outside wall of the changing rooms needs a whitewash as it is covered with algae now. The changing rooms did not look too clean. The vegetarian food was decent but not outstanding. The Western desserts were not good at all - too sweet or too mushy. Gulab jamuns and energy drinks were nice. Their lemon tea is very refreshing. High tea is some pakodas and chai. in their description - it said that early check in and late check out upto 3hrs each is allowed. The property said that was not possible for check out.

Tapovan by Fern, it’s amazing place to stay with family and friends, situated at right place in Sakleshpur. They have attentive staff and always ready to serve you. Extremely clean, hygienic ( my first priority). Surprisingly food was very tasty served fresh and hot and also personalised for us based on our needs. I definitely recommend if someone is finding excellent place to stay in Sakleshpur, thanks Tapovan team once again. I would definitely like to visit this place again.
