Triumph Houseboats

We went to kashmir in dc 2022. Stay was good. The care takers were also helpful. The houseboat had very good ambience in terms of wood works, cutlery, furniture etc. The only problem we faced is for the heater. The heater (ac) takes a break after every 15 mins of working and the room freezes dues to that. But they also did start the traditional heater due to which we could survive at minus temperature. The room lock was a just a 'kundi' and not a proper lock and there were minor pending repair works to be done in the washroom. Food was good as it was home made kind of food. Rest everything was fine.

I stayed for 2 days with family. My kids just loved this houseboat. Interior is so beautiful and the ambience as well. You can feel the inner peace just like Master Shifu 😇. Arshid bhai, the owner pays attention in person. He helped us for Shikara ride in Maqbool chacha's MAMAMIYA shikara which was the 2nd best thing after the houseboat stay. Food was average. Few cons; We struggled with hot water supply in bathroom for both days. Knob was missing in the bath tub and they do not have buckets!! They have heavy extra charges for room heating. Apart from this rest is absolutely amazing!!!

The houseboat is quite spacious and the interior decor is beautifully maintained. The staff of the boat mudasir is a very nice, gentle person and no matter how much we asked for him, he allays had a smile on face. Mr. Arsheed was very welcoming in all aspects and even gave us a ride in his car since the shikara ride was proving to be difficult due to frozen lake. Overall the safety and hygiene maintained in the houseboat is better than others. The owner kept in touch and inquired if we were doing good. I felt that food is a tad expensive but it was enough in quantity.

It was good stay at the triumph house boat. All i felt was that the house boat owners should write in the property description/inform the guests separately on how to reach the houseboat. It is required to get down at stand and from there a complimentary shikara arranged by houseboat is going to drop you there. Also the breakfast was okayish, there could have been more options. But everybody at the boat was extremely cooperative and always ready to help. Overall nice stay there and also recommended to others.

Booked this houseboat from MMT for a short duration and once I checked in the houseboats I was like WoW. Was very disappointed why didn't I stayed for 3 nights. I will definitely come back with my family and stay for a week at least. It was just perfect and refreshed my soul staying on the verandah of houseboat and have a cup of Kashmiri Khewa.

Nigeen lake is good place to stay if you want to stay at a less busy place and just enjoy the serenity of the beautiful houseboat. Din ji and ashrif were very good people who took care of us even when we needed medicine. Food is okay, if you are staying long din ji can provide a lot options. Recommend definitely for family or couple.

Location is pretty good. The boat is well maintained. Food is tasty. Safety is assured. The best part is the service is good n quick. Caretakers are best people. They serve u well. Take good care of your needs and are very genuine. Kudos to the caretaker couple for making r stay comfortable. Felt like home

I don't know where to start from, everything right from chick-in till check out was perfect. Great hospitality, great service with neat, clean and big rooms. Newly renovated washrooms with bathtub and 24 hours hot water. I must say Triumph Houseboats is one of the best houseboats in Kashmir.

It was such a calm, worth and beautiful stay and a beautiful houseboat. The food was great, tried local Kashmiri saag and it was super amazing. very warm people and amazing staff. felt like home. must must visit. complimentary shikara ride was included.

Awesome location. Nigeen lake is best

The houseboat is located in Nigeen Lake and the view from the houseboat is mesmerising. Staff is very helpful and cooperative. Interiors and rooms are beautiful and luxurious. Must stay in Triumph Houseboats.

Property location is very good, very peaceful and quiet stay. Food was good

Hotel is beautiful all staff is good in nature also owner himself take care food is good and serving timely Triumph Houseboats outer view's good to see nature they give shikara for pick-up drop also lobby room dining are beautiful bathroom is clean

Pros: peaceful location well behaved staff simple & tasty food sufficient amenities in the room cons: far away from main city, around 8 km no public convince for return back at houseboat after 6 at evening high cost for food

The stay was amazing. The property amazing too. One shikara ride from and to the boat was complimentary per day. There is also a road way to reach the houseboat. The owner is warm and approachable. It’s a pleasant experience.

Super safety and hygiene and courteous

It was not as busy as it could get dal lake where one houseboat is sitting exactly next to each other

It was a great experience the staffand the owner were very friendly the view from the stay was amazing crossing river by shikara and reaching the houseboat at night was amazing.

First time experience in a houseboat and it was awesome host was very cooperative and very soft spoken person food and all was very good
