U Rivergate Resort

I recently visited this resort, and it is quite expansive with ample open spaces and lush greenery throughout. The landscaping is well-maintained, and the riverside area stands out as the highlight. However, it was disappointing that the riverside access was limited in the mornings; on two occasions, we found the door closed. Adjacent to the resort, there are plots for sale by Pej Riveira, contributing to the vast open spaces ideal for leisurely walks. For elderly guests, there’s a buggy service available, which is convenient for getting around. The resort is also well-suited for large groups, offering opportunities for guests to bring their own cricket bags and play badminton in the open areas. In terms of activities, the resort offers a wide variety of options, including horse riding, cycling, hammocks to relax, and swings. Additionally, there are adventure activities like kayaking, rock climbing, and other such experiences, although these were chargeable, and the prices seemed a bit high. We decided not to take part in these activities, as they didn’t seem encouraging enough given the cost. It would have been better if these activities were included in the package. For indoor entertainment, the resort also has a snooker table, table tennis, carrom, and chess—great options for all ages to enjoy. The gym was also functional and well-maintained, offering a good spot for those looking to stay active. Regarding the rooms, we stayed in the Santorini area, which was pleasant. Although there were minor issues such as a non-functional doorbell and problems with the hot water heater, the overall cleanliness and ambiance of the room were satisfactory. The dining experience was average; the buffet spread seemed limited given the price charged. Personally, I found the Chinese cuisine disappointing, but the Indian food was enjoyable. The food prices were on the higher side relative to the quality offered. The swimming pool was decent, although it could have been cleaner. The spa services were good, particularly the masseuse, Gita, who provided an excellent experience. However, I must mention that the hospitality left something to be desired. Upon arrival, there was no assistance with luggage from the car, and we were not offered a welcome drink. Despite repeated reminders, there was an issue with the bill at the bar that was not promptly resolved. Overall, my stay at the property was decent and enjoyable, with some areas that could benefit from improvement in terms of service and amenities.

Excellent property. Well maintained and beautiful location. The plantation within the property made us feel cool even in this heat and we could roam around easily. There is cart service to move around within the property as it's huge. Mr. Hanuman helped us get around within the campus. Riverside gazebos, Adventure sports, multiple hammocks keep u busy. Pool, spa and few indoor games are there. Very clean rooms. Well maintained. Food was excellent. Taste , variety everything was good.

it is in remote location.Finding it was difficult as there were no sign board on the way. the property is beautiful and huge. you are in serenity of nature. No noise except chirping of birds. Breakfast was delicious. Every item had its original taste. staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms were large and spacious. we enjoyed the short trip.

It was a great experience at u rivergate. The staff was very helpful all throughout. Ambience and rooms are good. The location is very serene. It was fun doing the activities at the resort. Recommended to everyone. Even my toddler had no problem staying. The milk n food was given as requested without any extra cost.

PROPERTY IS VERY GOOD . HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE ALONG RIVERSIDE .JUST TO ADD UPON REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT TO COVER UP THE POOL WITH SHED, AS ITS OPEN TO SKY & DO FEEL LOTS OF HEAT WHILE IN POOL , REST ENTIRE PROPERTY IS VERY PEACEFUL. FOOD IS VERY EXPENSIVE.

Good resort but karjat is hot and humid place. Food was good. Service average. Overall good for one day stay.

It's the best resort property in karjat. It's huge and has a lot of fun things to do in the resort. The service is top notch, the spa is good too. I loved spending 2 days at this one, there wasn't a single moment of boredom

This resort proved to be a nice place for relaxation. Food, specially the breakfast was superb. It's a very neat and clean and beautiful property with access to the ulhas river.

I had a great experience, specially for food, the food was delicious and very good, the swimming pool was too clean, overall very good property to spend time with your family and friends
