We booked the Luxury View Room with a balcony, and the room was quite good. It offered a direct view of the valley and a side view of Mt. Kanchanjunga. We received ample sunlight throughout the day and enjoyed a beautiful sunset right from the balcony. However, there were a few issues. The TV was not recharged, and despite informing the reception, it wasn’t fixed during our 3-day stay. The Wi-Fi connection in Room D6 was very poor, and even the mobile network barely worked. Apart from these concerns, everything else was good. We ordered food multiple times, and it was delicious and budget-friendly, even though it was pure vegetarian. We also opted for honeymoon bedroom decoration, which was nicely done. It was slightly pricey but it added a special touch to our day. Overall, it’s a very good hotel and a recommended place to stay.

The ambience was great and aesthetic to the core. The British room which we stayed in had a heritage vibe all together. It was super clean. The bed had a warmer and the bedroom was provided with a heater. Living room had a smart TV with an actual working fireplace. Food was overall good but we preferred non-veg so we had to order online for the majority of the time. Nevertheless, wonderful stay.

The hotel is located in the best position near Mall Road which is specially accessible to the Darjeeling main location Also the best part is that you can see the Kanchanjungha Hill from its roof top as well as the total Darjeeling view. This is the best hotel in Darjeeling with a price range. Their complimentary breakfast is the best and best veg buffet. I will recommend it to everyone to come here with family. The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, and the view of the kanchenjunga from it was splendid. The people in the hotel are very down to earth right from the security to the manager everyone was respectful and very kind. As it was independence day they had requested all guest to be part of flag hoist and considering us one among them and the picture which I had uploaded would show how they considered as one among them as an family. Gratitude like this gives customer a satisfaction beyond the expectations and this place would always give me good memories. i would specially thank Sanam sir who gave me the guidance about the places to visit and advising us on the right time to visit darjelling in future Additionally I would also like to thank Shreya Mam, Abhishek Sir ,Sneha Mam, Srijana Mam ,Sandhya Mam ,Sabina Mam and Mohan sir who made sure our stay is very comfortable and made sure if everything is ok and double checked if we need anything. Special thanks to Shreya who always welcomed us with a smile and made sure to check if we were comfortable right from stay to food to checkout. and hats off to all the staff who work as one team. Overall stay at Udaan Dekeling Resort was very comfortable. Staff is really helpful and polite. Location is amazing as whole Darjeeling town is visible from main lobby. Food is good and reasonable. Only problem we felt was that property is located at a very good height but the way to reach hotel is little too much steep. We couldn’t walk or climb it easily as a tourist so they should make some stairs or find out some easy way out for tourists if they wish to walk down to Darjeeling Mall road. Just because of this difficult way to get to hotel entrance we had to book cab multiple times. Otherwise it’s just 1.5kms from Mall Road. And all daily need stores are located nearby. Zomato and Swiggy also works. Overall it was great, cosy and relax stay as place was quiet and surrounded with greenery.

Excellent location for viewing the valley and also the mountain. valley view rooms with are the recommend. Very polite and helpful staff. Thought the restaurant serves vegetarian only, the taste are excellent. One can take non veg items from the market and consumption in the room is allowed. The approach road to the hotel is a very stepped slope
