Udaan Himalayan Suites, Darjeeling

The very moment we checked in, we were given a feel of importance with the welcome drink and the "uttariya" put around our neck. Next, as we stepped inside our already booked attic room, we were very happy. Added to this was the early morning view of the kanchenjuga from our room, which left us totally mesmerized. Besides, the staffs and services are too good. The maintenance of the property is good. Housekeeping service is good. Least but not the last the behavior of all the staff makes one feel at home.

Location is not that great, as it is tough to board or even get down from the car without causing a jam. The Udaan Himalayan Suites, Darjeeling is just about 1. 5 km away from mall road and it is very close to darjeeling station. The kanchenjunga view from the room is excellent. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The food options are really good; however, during the new year weekend, the service was quite slow. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the food spread.

I had a room on second floor with excellent view of valley. Room n bathroom were spacious n clean. Their restaurant is par excellence perhaps best in darjeeling. The entire staff is cooperative n smiling. Location is 1. 4 km from chaurasta can be covered by foot especially on return due to slope downward. Up n down taxi also available for 500.

The location of Udaan Himalayan Suites, Darjeeling is at a walkable distance from dhar station. Room was spacious and amenities are good. Their in-house restaurant serves good food with affordable prices. The staff is very courteous. Faced some problems with wi-fi but that is manageable.

The Udaan Himalayan Suites, Darjeeling location is perfect in town. Darjeeling railway station is just 2 minutes walk away also mall road is very near by. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Had a great view of kanchenjunga from the room. Enjoyed the stay here

We have stayed at udaan himalayan suites for 2 days. I would recommend this Udaan Himalayan Suites, Darjeeling as nice property with kanchenjunga view. Service is good but food is not upto the mark at times. I think it could be improved a lot.

Hotel was at good location and had good view of kanchanjunga from room if you are lucky with weather. Had a good breakfast buffet in morning.

Beautiful views from balcony, excellent service and comfortable room. Mall road is bit far from the place but the stay is excellent.

Hotel is really nice. You get a very good view of kanchenjunga. The staff is very helpful. Food is also good.

The rooms and services were good. The only thing was that we had to waste 2 buckets of water to get proper hot water in the bathroom, maybe because of the solar facility. This could be improved to reduce water wastage.

Amazing Udaan Himalayan Suites, Darjeeling with very helpful staff. Restaurant was great with live music. Hotel is also located very close to mall road and darjeeling station. Easy access to toy-train and taxi stand is at meters distance.
