Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok

We were on a weeks visit and found this Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok after good reviews. We found that the Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok is at a considerable distance from MG Marg, however, if you are looking for isolation it is a good option. The standard rooms are barely ok as per views. But the staff and Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok reception especially one gentlemen in particular is very cordial. We reached very late but they accorded a good welcome showed us to rooms. We were not happy with the view from standard rooms vis a vis cost paid. They upgraded us to top floor with stunning views and huge space. Their luxury rooms are what you should book. Room service is very good and so is the Spa.

We booked a family room without realising that it was meant to be one for 5 or 6 guests. The room was in the basement floor, with below par interiors and upkeep. We requested for a change; the staff was extremely helpful and understanding and moved us out to a deluxe room on the 3rd floor. This one was much better and comfortable. Housekeeping could be better; bathrooms have no dry:wet separation. The staff was extremely helpful, warm and hospitable. Shruti at the bar counter fixed us good drinks and duma helped us with our food orders. Both were very efficient. Food was great. Ala cart e orders during buffet time were also served promptly.

The location is a bit far from the city center, the property is fantastic, the rooms were marvelous. I had taken a luxurious room with fire place. The food was fair could have been better. Need to improve of the customer hospitality front. Had to call multiple times for everything. Only the security person (mr. Rajakumar) in night duty was very helpful and was there to help out when i fell unwell. The feeling i got when i was not well was money first and then the service. That needs to change, overall it was satisfactory stay.

Location is far from market. It takes some amount in shared cab to reach Lal market and MG market. Hotel interior is good but rooms are not very awesome. Rooms are good, may be I expected better. Disappointed from few things no sleepers available, when light goes it takes 2 minutes minimum (120 seconds) which is too much. Apart from these some basic things like toothbrush, moisturizer, shaving kit, etc are available only when asked. Food was good. Service was also good.

Me and my wife had a fantastic time at the Hotel. What we loved was a very different layout and architecture of the Hotel. Though a variety in food both in dinner and breakfast can be a little more but that's not concerning as service makes up for it. Since I loved the Hotel I had one feedback that the room door bangs at the wall when every time it opens, may be we can have a door stopper placed so that aesthetic of the Hotel can be maintained.

We stayed at udaan woodberry for a night during our gangtok trip. Hotel location is ok for those not looking to stay in the center of the city. Best part about the stay was the food at the Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok which was one of the best we had during our entire trip. The rooms though clean are small and smelled of paint. For the price i had expected better rooms.

We stayed for a week in woodberry although our plan was to stay only for 2 nights. We spent one week in sikkim and the highlight of our trip was our stay. It really felt like a home, away from home. Special thanks to the staff shinora, jamuna, pratiksha, sonam, nitesh, raju and kishanu. Thank you so much for your service and your commitment to perfection!

Wonderful staff with best hospitality. Rooms are very good. I stayed at valley view room. You wake up with mountains in front. Amazing!

Beautiful Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok and bed is really comfortable. The staff is polite and helping. We forgot our jacket in the room but they called us and kept it safe till we picked it back from them.

Food was absolutely divine though they took a while to cook. Great location and comfortable Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok amid-st the pristine mountains.

We made the booking for one day only and after seeing the best services and polite staff we continued our stay for 5 days. It's really amazing to stay in this Udaan Woodberry Hotel & Spa, Gangtok. Moreover staff is very polite.
