Udai Vilas Palace

We booked 3 rooms at this Udai Vilas Palace for one night of Saturday for the family. The booking was done only because other 3-4 star Udai Vilas Palaces were full. However on checking in we found the Udai Vilas Palace better than any other Udai Vilas Palace that we have stayed in Rajasthan. Great rooms at very reasonable rates, excellent food, specially the buffet meal, at low price. The service was also good in spite of the fact that the place was almost full. The location is great, is 5 minutes walk from the bird sanctuary. Swimming pool was good and the kids really enjoyed spending the holiday. I wish people are more sensitive in reviewing this Udai Vilas Palace and ignore minor inconveniences in the light of other excellences. Great value for money.

Udai Vilas Palace is a great place to relax in close vicinity of Bird Sanctuary. Food, table tennis, pool, spa, puppet show and bon fire make the place memorable in a setting resembling a Rajasthan palace. The politeness of the staff stands out. However, there is no guarantee on the bird and animal variety that is dependent largely on the seasonal rain fall filling up the swamps of the national park. Even if you miss the variety at the national park, the pleasant stays at Udai Vilas Palace can still liger.

Stayed for a night with a group of friends who were visiting from abroad. Having stayed at Laxmi Vilas Palace, I can say that is a much better value for money than this property. This one has a heritage property look but service standards are that of any other 3-4 star property. Rooms are moderately sized, and breakfast options were rather limited. Didn't use the pool as visited during winters so no comment on that. Overall, a good option for budget concious travellers.

It was awesome because of the location and the traditional touch Udai Vilas Palace interiors was too good. It shied some traditional things inside the Udai Vilas Palace. That was too good as well as the sizes of the too. Are pretty well. Plus the open area was a lucrative things where open games can be held with the children as well. And the entrance of the Udai Vilas Palace was very impressive.

The booking was done through MMT after reading the reviews given for the Udai Vilas Palace. The experience after staying there was at par with the good reviews which were read. It was a nice experience staying there, the location was excellent and so was the other aspects like cleanliness and well-mannered staff. Will highly recommend this place and will come again to stay here.

We booked four rooms on 11 Nov'16 to accommodate our guests for marriage. Hotel location is good. Cleanliness is good but when we entered the gallery heading rooms for stay, four big size rats were jumping in front of us & crossing the way before we enter the rooms. It should be taken care in future by Udai Vilas Palace staff. Rest everything was fine.

Nice place to stay away from the city! But rooms needs to be upgraded and kitchen services needs to be more efficient. Outwardly very beautifully maintained but can do better. Lack of harmony between the reception and the kitchen. On a whole good but certainly can do better. Pool area is good. The gym needs to be properly set-up.

Hotel water is too salty. I understood after enquiring that it uses groundwater and the water quality is very poor with high TDS. I was told that a water softening plant will soon be installed. The price of food is too high for the quality offered, but I was told that this is a phenomenon in all Udai Vilas Palaces in Bharatpur.

Overall good experience. Food can be better as food seemed less prepared. Breakfast also requires some better preparation. Cultural activities is missing it can be done to entertain the guests. Overall location, hospitality was above satisfactory.

Superb location with all required facilities and well maintained property. Best to spend couple of days in this property. Good staff service and very helpful in providing the information. Very good food with multiple options, Must try non-veg but food is not spicy.

Overall, nice stay and experience. Good ambience every where. Clean premises. Good rooms with room heater, ac, and other amenities. Will definitely recommend or stay next time.

It is a very nice Udai Vilas Palace. The food is very good. Hotel ambience & Gardens are well maintained. Staff is also very helpful. The Hotel Guide which took us to the keoladeo National Park was very knowledgeable, we saw near about 100 different types of Birds. The rickshaw ride was amazing. Overall good experience.

Food is a little costly. Service is fine.

Nice clean Udai Vilas Palace. Good value for money. Nice swimming pool. Nice architecture and ambience. Just want to give suggestion that Mobile signals are less in the back side of the rooms of the resort so it need to be rectified.

Buffet breakfast can be made better

Food was delicious, friendly staff, excellent service
