Uday Backwater Resort

Our Uday Backwater Resort stay was exceptional. The spacious rooms and helpful staff contributed to a positive experience. While the location is somewhat secluded, requiring pre-arranged tours for independent excursions, the resort offers ample on-site activities. We enjoyed the spa services and appreciated the exceptional service provided by Hari, who accommodated all our requests. The mesmerizing backwater view was a highlight; I spent a tranquil afternoon relaxing in a hammock, enjoying the sounds of birds and the occasional passing houseboat. Resort has big swimming pool and area for indoor games. The breakfasts were satisfactory, and the fresh, delicious fish dish was a culinary delight. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable stay.

Beautiful property with artistic interiors. Nice rooms with a lakeside view. Staff was very hospitable and also decorated our room for our son’s pure- birthday celebrations as per our request. Breakfast spread is good with good south indian food preparation. Other cuisines preparation is average with limited menu. Photogenic property with lush green views. Overall a nice stay and we enjoyed our stay. Only thing we felt missing was a small playarea for infants toddlers and chinese & italian cuisines menu can be improved. Also more options need to be made available in round the clock menu for travelers reaching the property outside lunch hours.

very good location,. Although last mile connectivity to the resort is a bumpy road but once you are inside the resort, everything is well taken care off. The staff is always smiling and eager to help us out. Great hospitality, Thanks Babita, Sulekha. The resort area is very green and well maintained. it's a delight to see birds, butterfly, ducks, turkey in campus. Christmas decorations are cherry on cake. The ayurvedic spa services were really very relaxing. Bfast buffet was excellent. Look forward to come back.

The resort is very beautiful and located in the Alleppey backwaters. The breakfast was delicious, and all the Uday Backwater Resort staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The only drawback was the road to the Uday Backwater Resort—it’s a narrow lane with no proper road, which felt quite scary. Other than that, everything about the Uday Backwater Resort was perfect

Very good property, location is amazing. Swimming pool and backwater view is good. Property is very spacious. Way to reach Uday Backwater Resort is difficult, road is kaccha and only vehicle passes at one time. Hospitality can be improved as they didn't serve welcome drink we had to ask them amazing food and good staff.

This is one of the best resort in alleppey ! resort has complimentary fishing and kayaking activities! backwaters rides are also available! located at great place with scenic beauty ! definitely the perfect destination for a holiday !

Pleasant stay. Lakeview rooms are very good. Hospitality great. Food very tasty. Kid friendly. Water activities available. Specially want to mention bhabotosh for his exceptional service.

Overall stay was good i really enjoyed the calm and serene place. Breakfast was also good. Road to resort was not nice

Overall 4. 5/5. Hotel facilities were good apart from gym which was under maintenance. Food was excellent. Rooms were clean and staff were always happy to help.

Property is located on the backwaters. There are lot of in-house activities to do, like kayaking, swimming, fishing, yoga. Food is excellent however quantity is less. Rooms are well maintained and spacious
