This was on of the best hostel i ever stayed. The room -5 on 5 Location- Its very near to city hence makes traveling super easy. Host- 10 on 5 . They where amazing. Even till 3 in the night we had amazing time. Kudus to host. Best stay

It was a very good experience. Met with a lot of people. And the owners are truely passionate in hosting people. The games which we played in night there were best. Facilities and ambience wise also it’s too good and nearby to french colony. And for girls you can go there without any security concerns.

It was a great experience there . The vehicles provided to us was in good condition. Even the people there were also friendly and corporative. Only one problem we got that the AC of our room got damaged in the night . But they told us if we want we can shift to different room . Overall condition and experience was good .

Unpack Hostel is perfect for travellers who just wants to have a place to come back to every once a while after exploring, it's budget-friendly and most importantly very cozy to sleep. Also has a very cool vibey rooftop with lots of games.

firstly they made me sit for 7hrs in the lounge despite the fact that my bed was vacant. they said they're cleaning it but even after waiting for so long, finally when I checked it, it wasn't clean at all. the walls were full of red ants which were coming to the bed and I felt like i was sleeping on the ground. horrible experience.

Our standard check-in time is 1PM, which is set to allow for proper cleaning of beds and to prioritize hygiene and guest safety, which is why you were requested to wait in our comfortable lounge areas up to the check-in time. However, if the room/bed was not up to our usual standards when you finally checked in, we wish you had informed us immediately, as our team would have responded promptly to resolve the issue. We are located in a tropical climate, where occasional insect activity can occur despite our regular pest control/maintenance routines. That said, red ants are not something we take lightly, and we’ve already asked our housekeeping teams to look into this area specifically. We never want a guest to leave unhappy, and we’re truly sorry that this was your lasting impression. We appreciate your feedback—it helps us improve—and we hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and i loved meeting fellow travelers from all over. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything i needed for a relaxing stay. The entire hostel was well-maintained, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, i couldn't recommend unpack hostel more highly to fellow female solo travelers. It's the perfect spot to connect with others, unwind, and recharge for your next adventure!

Absolutely delightful! My trip to Pondicherry became 5 times memorable due to Hospitality of most amazing hosts, the hostel itself is great. Perfect location, Hygiene, Clean, and yes Luxurious. The accessibility to Kitchen is very comforting. The most important thing I felt is feeling of independence and safety. Most Memorable moments were when guest hosted after dinner fun activities, that opened up a conversation with fellow travelers and created beautiful lifetime memories.
