Valparai Mount Terrain Resort

First of all the property is not worth I can't even sleep at night due to tremendous noise from the group of people's Boozing in different open area .. Iwas with my family and not even able to come outside the room due to the people's Boozing around .. Not at all suitable for family stay

Food is good but there is limited variety, idly dosa and lite items are available only in the morning. Have to inform in advance if you need any specific food items. The staff are good and polite. no shops nearby and it's located on a hill top. Beautiful scenario and mist spreading into the property

Very pathetic experience

Good location, nice scenic view with dam one side and tea plantation on other side, people are more courtesy and polite. Food is good. Outside more space to move and enjoy. Any visitors can definitely enjoy this location. . During my stay the climate was pleasant and added advantage.

Very good property in forest .. near to sholayar dam… good house keeping… helpful staffs… room spacious with beautiful windows view. .. trecking and plucking gauva fruits & eating right from nature gave a good experience… 💯 percent oxygen rich atmosphere… food above average..

The resort was good but not worthy for the price. Food was very average and landscape maintenance is very very poor. However staffs were really good. Promised wifi availability. However wifi was available only at reception area

The property is nice, neat and well maintained. My family visited in a lean season, end of march 23, the property was almost empty, there were only 6 guests including us, so they didn't have much activities including buffet breakfast. 100years old british building, well renovated spacious rooms at the hilltop with a view of entire valley and sholayur dam and a very calm atmosphere. The property has 37 hectares of forest included with it so one can go trekking and see animals. We saw deer, black monkeys, bison, peacock We had early morning walk to sholayur dam which is 1km down the hill through forest. Valparai is very neat and clean, nice roads not much of vehicles, clean air no noise unlike ooty kodaikanal. We visited nallamudi view point balaji temple kulankkal river nallamalai tunnel, all mountain roads along tea and coffee estates with nice views, since we had suv we didn't had any problems in mountaining. Only vodafone works in the property. Nice property, welcoming staff including manager raj, who is very helpful. I recommend this property who likes calm forest environment with nice mountain views

I reviewed lot of hotels and finally located mount terrain resort to stay amid nature. We were able to locate the resort easily through google map. Check in process was quick and simple. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the view of sholayam dam from the room. Staffs were very friendly and available any time. We were served with delicious food. Order was taken promptly and served at convenient time. Food tasted like home made and served in right quantity. We also requested for a hire car to visit athirapally and was arranged promptly. Best resort, value for money and would recommend to choose mount terrain if planning to stay in valparai. Special thanks to raj, manager for making our stay pleasant.

Except the owner everything is worst please avoid very dirty hotel waste of money. Breakfast was average dinner only chappati or poratta even after several time of follow up got it 9. 45 which requested for 8 pm and coffee tea also you will get it with dinner extra bed so dirty i put my dhoti dress above it

Mr raj and his team in the resort are excellent when it comes to guest services, the location is scenic, food quality was good. This place is little far from main town which is very very congested, i am happy with my decision to book here, as i could enjoy nature peacefully.

The place offers a good stay in valparai which is not a commercialized tourist places. However for the price they are charging they should at-least provide wifi connection in all the rooms considering that most of the mobile networks do not work in the area. The place also didn't have an intercom network and you couldn't contact the reception or any other rooms. The property is good, location is nice, but they can surely improve alot on the facilities being provided and the food they are offering considering the premium they are charging for the property

Waking up and seeing mountains covered with big trees of the jungle, thus serene beauty is what waits for you when you are staying in Valparai Mount Terrain Resort. The location of the hotel is perfect. The breakfast is also good. The staff is also good and makes the stay secure. On top of everything, this comes at a price that does not give a hard time to your wallet.
