Velan Temple View

Had a pleasant stay with awesome hillview. Staff was very polite and food is too good

The stay was good, comfortable. I felt it as worth the money spent. The lunch served in the Iyer's Cafe just in the courtyard was excellent. Served hot and delicious food. Love to stay there again.

I was very sceptical of this hotel but to my pleasant surprise they offer everything that you need.. from clean rooms, great view from rooms and prompt response when you call them. Above all you get to plan your visit looking at the trains that take devotees up. A small shopping place around and Aaryas hotel close by. Swiggy, Zomato orders are also quick. Thank you team. I will recommend this place to others and will visit again.

Reached first day evening by around 6.30 pm. Car parking lot is available in the basement, but small. To fit around 4 to 5 cars only. Just behind is a small ground which is open and can accommodate around 30 cars. Rooms were all well maintained. Clean and tidy. Bathrooms too. A small restaurant just at the entrance serves breakfast and tea/coffee. For lunch, dinner we need to place orders in advance. Limited options only for all 3. But homely food. Distance from the temple Winch and pathways is short. Walkable. Overall a good experience.

I stayed at Velan Temple View in Palani with my family, and our experience was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. This is the second time I have booked this hotel, and both visits have been consistently good. I highly recommend Velan Temple View to anyone looking for a quality budget stay in Palani.

In website mentioned Queen bed but Beds are very small and AC not working, toilets are not clean, toiletries are not provided, they charged for one room. Nothing provided.

Wonderful stay at this place. Don’t care about negative reviews. You can trust this place for safety and walkable distance to palani Murugan temple. I suggest hotel administration to use fresh cut flowers instead of plastic flowers decoration inside the hotel.

The hotel is very close to the temple and we could see the temple from our room. The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious. The hotel has an underground parking too which was very helpful. Really appreciated the polite and prompt service.

Had a terrible experience had to pay for the bed

Bath towels and quilt are very old. Staff behaviour is very rude. No proper response. It was just like a lodge. Doesn’t come under a good hotel category. Quite disappointed with overall services.

we paid for an AC room but the AC was not working the whole night.. disappointing.

The room cost too high and no breakfast in the hotel provided, they don’t have basic amenities in the room like kettle. The view we stayed was hill view but the construction work was going in the hotel so no privacy if we open the curtains. We have disturb sleep because of misquote’s and the bed cover was teared.. We went with the infant and it’s too costly we payed and it’s waste of money.

I booked this stay based on positive reviews. I find the reviews are genuine after completion of my stay here. Rooms are clean and neat. Staff are welcoming and polite. My overall experience is 5/5. No complaints from my side. Due to some issues I had to check out lately but hotel management supported me and just charged reasonable for extended stay.
