Vels Cliff

Location of the stay was excellent. It was facing a valley. The Location was very tranquil. With the fog setting in, it was simply mesmerising. We had a very clear view of the Coonoor town from here. In the late afternoon, the fog got so thick that we cancelled our plan to visit Sims Park. The care takers are ready to prepare Dinner at extra cost. They can prepare many dishes that we have have at a regular Vels Cliff. The Free breakfast was pretty basic with Dosa, Sambar and Chutney but was very tasty. We could order extra dishes as well (probably at extra cost). On the flip side, as I went during the examination time, there was no crowd and the night felt a bit too silent for my comfort.

It was an awsome experience staying at vels cliff the host vinod is gem of person he made sure a smooth comfortable stay for us provided delicious home cooked food i highly recommend this property to everyone the location quality food everything just perfect

Nice room and peaceful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Will choose this stay once again if comes to Coonoor next time. Little bit far from main road. Once reached the Vels Cliff, you would love the surroundings. Food service is so nice.

The place is isolated from the city for which it’s peaceful. The caretaker is friendly and well mannered. The room we were in is having ample space. Overall the stay was peaceful and we have enjoyed a lot.

Stay was awesome. Nice place to chill as a couple as well as family. You will feel that u are staying at the lap of nature. Food they provided was very good my only concern is food is little pricey.

This place was amazing. The view was outstanding. The caretakers are friendly. But the only problem is the road to get here. It's kinda not good for like 5-10 mins. Rest of the stuff is ok.

The place is very homely and is clean but needs some renovation and the building needs to be re painted. The view from the room balcony is breathtaking.

We had a pleasant stay at vel’s cliff, the host vinoth was very friendly and helpful made our stay very comfortable, food served was fresh, non spicy and tasty.
