Velvett Villa

The room was quite good. Well placed in comparison to the price. Beach was also close to the Velvett Villa. Anyone looking for lodging in cheaper price may chose the Velvett Villa without doubt. It's well placed and price too is reasonable. Loved the stay at Pondicherry. Thumbs up for the Velvett Villa.
The service was good. One wouldn't be disappointed choosing this. My experience was quite good. If you want a room with cheaper price do go for this. The only thing is that food is not available. It's only for lodging. Thank you.

We were a group of 18 people. It was really fun, there's an open space in the first floor where we could chill. We really enjoyed our stay there. The only problem was that the air-conditioner wasn't working, and we didn't have food there. So really can't comment on the food. But there are many cafes around this place. Location wise it's really good. Rock beach is 20 minutes away from this place by walk. Paradise beach is around 4 kms away. Overall, a very decent place to stay.

Small rooms, no roof top, no parking. But service was good. Location very good and all main places you may wish to visit within city are at walkable distance. Very close to MG road area. Food is not an issue as there are a whole lot of varieties of restaurants, pizzerias and multinational chain of food joints are all nearby. Beach is also walkable distance. Good for stay if you come back to room only for resting and refreshing. Too cramped rooms.

It is a good place for staying and also pocket-friendly and, recommendable for solo travelers. They provided only breakfast and, the breakfast was made by one leady and, it was good as homemade food. Room was not so spacious for two persons but had manageable space and, it was clean. The property was safe and secure. It was near to the market place. I stayed here twice.

The appearance of the Velvett Villa was good. The location of the Velvett Villa was good. The check in and check out was not delayed. The overall service of the Velvett Villa was very good. All amenities were provided in the Velvett Villa. You can pay & delay the checkout. Big Positive the charm of living in an old French house & nearer to rock beach.

The simple and easy check-in, payment and access were outstanding. I liked the staff's approach. Everything was exceptional. The Amenties were lovely and did everything they could to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The place was in quiet area although it was beautiful location.

Most of pondy's spots are easily accessible from ths house. Calm and friendly that can be a overdose too. Room was tiny and they have put 2 single cots at times I fell in between them, not much of a heritage home, old house rebuilt, stay was fine.

The room was a little smaller than expected but was clean and tidy. Overall comfortable facilities and courteous staff behavior and situated in a prime location with a heritage feel altogether and got it for a decent price from Makemytrip.

It was a good stay. Room was good and comfortable. The caretaker and staffs were very friendly. I tried breakfast there and it was good. I would like to recommend the property to others.

Great location, brilliant staff. They have an in house kitchen service available as well. There is a beautiful balcony cafe and they serve amazing idlis for breakfast. A heritage house which is a must visit place

Dental kit, shaving kit etc. Was not available. No scope of choosing breakfast variety. Behaviour of staff was excellent.

This heritage home is located in a excellent location. All the cafe and bar and beach are so close and it is also in reasonable price.

Complimentary breakfast was very good.
Water bottle supplied was not enough and room service was poor.
