Nestled amid-st the enchanting hills of darjeeling, our recent stay in Viceroy Hotel viceroy was nothing short of a serene escape. The moment we entered the lobby, the warm hospitality embraced us, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The rooms(premium attic rooms, adorned with tasteful decor, offered a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the panoramic views of the kanchenjunga through the large windows was a surreal experience that etched lasting memories. The staff's attentiveness and genuine smiles added a personal touch to every interaction. What truly sets apart this Viceroy Hotel is it's food/beverage and deputy operations manager, mr arindam sen. From the moment we checked in, his dedication to ensuring a seamless and delightful stay was evident. Courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist, mr sen went above and beyond to make the guests feel welcome. His personalized touch and genuine concern for guest satisfaction added an extra layer of warmth to the overall experience. The food at Viceroy Hotel viceroy is exceptional! very tasty and well prepared where you can choose among many options from traditional menus to modern twists. The dining ambiance, coupled with impeccable service, elevated the overall dining experience. In conclusion, our stay in Viceroy Hotel viceroy was a symphony of comfort, aesthetics, and hospitality, making it an unforgettable chapter in our travel diaries. A visit to the queen of hill, with my aunt. For me after 21 yrs & for my aunt aftet 46 yrs. A sea change. But the feel at viceroy was majestic. My request for a kanchanjangha view room was honored by the Viceroy Hotel and there hospitality was praise worthy. The location of the property was excellent and the interior was a blend of the colonial potrays and frames. Which they inherited from the erstwhile governor's property. I really had an excellent trip and my aunt was too satisfied regarding the stay. I would request the Viceroy Hotel authorities to upgrade there wash rooms to make it more adorable property. Location was quite good just 5 min walking from mall road. My room was auto upgraded to "lords room" which has a huge balcony. And we can watch the full range of kanchanjangha from our balcony. Rooms are relatively a bit small at this price range. But they provide all required amminities. Food was a bit costly but taste was good. They charge 18% gst + some service taxes. All staffs are quite helpful and their behavior makes us feel that we are at home. Over all a must stay Viceroy Hotel if your budget is more than 5 k per night
Excellent stay with all maintained safety measures

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Since i visited in january, it was pretty cold. So i had asked for a room heater, which they provided promptly. Room had bed, table, chairs, cupboards safe lock and tv. But very spacious. Bathroom was clean and had gyser. Hit water was available round the clock. Could not get a room with mountain view and had to manage with a room on second floor. I had just two meals in the Viceroy Hotel and some tea. A loo paratha was good but veg sandwich was hopeless. Tea was good

Location is near to the mall and the mountain view is very clear from the room. You can enjoy the view from your bed, what else you may want. All facilities available, excellent service, nice people always around to help you. Specially to mention Mr. Ali and Mr. Sen who has been instrumental in making our stay a memorable one. Had a nice stay in this Viceroy Hotel with my 11 months old boy, my wife and two senior citizens my mother and mother in law. They've taken extremely good care of us. Thank you.

Booked the property at the last moment. So prices were on the higher side being a long weekend. The convenience it offers being so close to the mall makes it a nice option. Pros- staff were really nice and proactive. Good views of kanchenjunga if the skies are clear. Cons - bath towels need a considerable upgrade ( quite poor for the price they charge for the rooms)

We booked the attic rooms and it was like a home for 5 days. The service was top notch and the views from the Viceroy Hotel was splendid. We witnessed the best view and service here. Food was of superb quality and staff courtesy was more than we expected. Although the prices were a little steep but the stay, service and food proved their worth.

Hotel is at walking distance from darjeeling mall. Food is expensive but quality is good. Staff very cooperative. They changed our room heater promptly on request. Hotel also has transport desk which organised sightseeing cab for us at reasonable rate and good quality cars. Only problem entrance is through parking area and with lot of stairs.

The food was good but very costly. Service provided is good.

Viceroy is a very good Viceroy Hotel with all the amenities and safety procedures. Contactless check-in and check-out. Very good break fast buffet with courageous staff and mangers. Hotel is clean and hygienic and located at very good location.

I found the place to be nice. It's near main gandhi chowk (3 mins walking distance. Staffs are polite. I book 2 rooms one is good and another is okiesh. Room service is also great.

The best part of the Viceroy Hotel has been its offering of sumptuous meals especially for vegetarian like me. Rooms are good, well furnished & comfortable. The electric kettle provided had loosened plug & had to call housekeeping few times.

Hotel property's maintain nicely, location wise also very good as it's beside mall. Hotel staff also very much caring. Breakfast is average. Quality of food not good.

I will refer everyone to stay here

Good Viceroy Hotel with good sanitization process

Great place to stay in darjeeling. It offers the view of clock tower and mt kanchenjunga and darjeeling. We personally had very good experience of staying here. Amazing staff as they were actually helpful and friendly. Great food. Really good ambiance in and outside rooms. Overall we had a very good stay at viceroy. Thanks.
