The kothi has very warm and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom has all basic necessities and is also very spacious. Hot water available all the time. The bed was also large. The location of the Kothi is very ideal. Close to Assi ghat-5/7 mins walk. Rickshaws and tuk tuks easily available. Close to the big main Road on the other Side palm three Chowrah. Easily accessible with a car. It's Worth a stay for sure. There is no Ganga view from the Kothi but the overall experience is peaceful and good and more than makes up for it. Only the breakfast staff needs a bit of training in serving and taking quick orders. But overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back there again.
Room was big clean and spacious. Bathroom was also spacious. Overall stay was very comfortable. Totally Worth the money. Also the location was very convenient. Close to Assi ghat and close to the Padamshree Chowraha. So one could take any Side of the Road. Car also goes right up to the Kothi. Very warm and helpful staff too.

This property is located on Assi ghat within walking distance to the ghat and yet can be easily accessed by a vehicle which is a huge advantage. Access to boat rides on the ghat, Kasi Vishwanath Temple, and other temples on the ghat are very convenient from here. Though the ghat area can be chaotic, this homestay is very peaceful. The owners live within the property and gave a very personal touch to our stay. The food is simple organic home cooked style, and we were served hot delicious timely food. The manager was very helpful with all our needs. We enjoyed our stay here thoroughly. Given that this homestay is right next to a market, early mornings can be a bit noisy for light sleepers.

If you wish to stay away from noise in a healthy clean environment then this is the place. With fewer guests and lesser noise it’s peaceful and lets you have privacy unlike typical vijaigarh kothis. The annexe is let out for guests and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is sumptuous and homelike lunch and dinner can be ordered as per choice. However the dining hall has timings and is not round the clock. We stay their whenever in varanasi and find it great value for money as it is less than 500 meters from assi ghat and yet peaceful clean and the manager shubham helps out with travel and food arrangements.

The vijaigarh kothi is a true heritage place. It has its own history. The room i booked was a maharaja room and it was massive in size. The furniture placed in the room will give a heritage and vintage feel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. I must mention shubham who was at the reception. He is very humble and he helped us with several information and bookings. The restaurant is small but sufficient for a large group. Food is nice and varies different cuisines during our 3 night stay. Overall it was a very nice experience staying there.

Vijaigarh Kothi is a beautiful vijaigarh kothi. It's very neat and clean and an extension of a royal house. The owners have decorated it with great taste. Breakfast is good. They serve fruits and juices along with Indian and continental. Rooms have tea/coffee maker. Room size is spacious with a modern bathroom. Toiletries are provided. Outside road leads to Assi ghat. I liked the vijaigarh kothi and will stay again. The staff is always smiling and ready to help.

I was a solo traveller. This property is near the assi ghat just 300 mts away, and in a way keeps you close to the ghat but also avoids the hustle and bustle. The room and washroom was decently large, and the vijaigarh kothi staff were very hospitable. Though i didn’t eat at the property, they have a functioning dining room and kitchen. Since it is a kothi, it also in some way offers an old world charm to the stay.

One of the most strategically located place. Durga temple, Tulsi Manas temple, Sankat Mochan, Tridev temple are 7 to 10 min walking distance from the Kothi. Similarly Assi ghat is a 5 to 7 minute walk. Kothi is well maintained and clean. Food is good and staff are very cordial and helpful. Recommend this place.
Very comfortable stay and staff are very cordial and nice.

Nice building with large, tastefully furnished rooms, fairly close to Asi ghat. The rooms and toilet were very clean. Service was good. We had to leave early so we did not do the breakfast. The staff were very helpful and served us toast and omelettes which were perfectly done. The taxi had access to the place which gets more difficult as you get closer to the ghat.

Party of residency of big are royal family in Varanasi.
Excellent. Not a vijaigarh kothi, it's heritage homestay. Best for family traveller. Room interior, food and everything are excellent.

Clean rooms, great hospitality

The stay was good just thought the experience could have been better. There was very little to do once inside the Kothi. It was a good place to stay but overpriced for sure.

Hotel is walkable from assi ghat and is set in a kothi. Rooms are spacious and staff are courteous.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable facility. Approach may not be appealing as expected in main city of varanasi but property is good. Staff is good. Breakfast very homely. Recommend for comfortable stay and convenient moving around main attractions.

They need to improve on their breakfast spread. Housekeeping also needs to be improved.

Enjoyed a very soothing and relaxing experience at this lovely place. Has very spacious and clean rooms. The food was excellent and the service too was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Has ample parking space for safe parking.
