Villa De Hollong Jungle Resort

The resort is in a deep jungle. Quiet, calm and free from crowd. The food quality is very good. The rooms are neat and clean.

My worst ever staying in any property of mmt. No basic facility - wi - fi / tv are available. Dish tv is not recharged. Horrible wiring. Food is junk. Wastage of money.

Pleasant stay with delicious food. Countryside feels. It's not near forests, so if you're looking for staying in forests this is not it. It's inside a beautiful village and the surroundings are so peaceful and at night it was really nice.

Satisfied with the sanitization procedure. Comfortable place and cooking quality is so good. Room service is also good. Homlely atmosphere

Location is good, ambience is good, staff behavior excellent. Food quality is excellent. But Morning Tea is missing. This is not expected from a resort hotel.

We paid much higher as compare to other hotels. Location is very far from Hollong, a big no if you are visiting for that only. No wifi facilities.

Awesome stay, born fire and the barbecue was great. My family and kids love the place, out of city's hustle bustle full of greenery, staff were also helpful.

Very difficult to locate and no proper location in Google maps. Very isolated from main Road and roads to reach was also very scary at night time. No water bottle and wifi also provided. Not at all Worth the money.

I enjoyed the food most. It was like home made food without much spice. Staffs were very good.

Just awesome Behavior of staff great

We stayed here for a night on our way to Bhutan and we feel so lucky for having chosen this property. We wanted to book the government lodge in Jaldapara which is very highly rated but could not get a booking. But, I must say we do not have any regrets for this missed opportunity. Villa De Hollong is situated a little away from the town of Madarihat and about 4 km off the main road, but I guess this is what makes this a place to stay in. Limited number of rooms, but they are all very spacious, clean and very well maintained. The staff is extremely helpful, the food is awesome. Although this was a stopover for us, we would definitely enjoy staying here for a longer period of time. Recommended.

A very pleasant quality time spent at Villa De Holong under the superb hospitality of the restaurant owner and his crew. Location is great, needless to say food and services were excellent.

Service not good, also power supply most time of the day was off

This place is for people who want to live in peace amidst nature. The best part is room and food. Rooms are spacious with large clean bathrooms. Staff is very helpful and they cook amazing food. Location is bit away from main road but perfect for people who want to enjoy nature. Jaldapara forest is hardly 5 KM away from this place. Overall worth the money spend.

The food was great and the staff was helpful. The room was large, clean, and well maintained. The bathroom however, was pretty old fashioned with no separate Bath enclosure. This made the entire bathroom floor wet after taking a Bath which made things really messy. Oddly, there was no soap or shampoo stand near the shower. There was load shedding several times but the electric back up was not automatically switched on. This made life difficult especially at night. Also, only one towel was initially provided although we were three people. More towels were provided after we asked for it.
Liked the food was great. We needed pure vegetarian food for my mother which the cook happily provided. They were quite polite and hospitable. Disliked the bathroom design is quite old fashioned. There is no separate partition for taking Bath and so the bathroom floor gets completely wet after Bath. Also, there is no convenient place for placing the soap or shampoo while taking the Bath. The TV has basically 2-3 channels which is absurd. There was load shedding several times, and there was no automatic electric generators. This made life very difficult when going to the toilet in complete darkness in the middle of the night. It seemed like they were trying to save money by not switching on the generator.
