Villa Paradiso

This was by far the worst service I have ever encountered. The staff was poorly trained and unprofessional. Our room was not cleaned properly, and when I requested housekeeping, I was told, “Sir, subah hi to saaf kiya tha.” Basic services like room cleaning should not need to be justified—they should be standard. The door locks were not functioning properly, posing a serious security concern. Although the property has a kitchen and restaurant, there was no staff available to operate it during our stay. Shockingly, one day they even lost our room key—completely unacceptable. The washroom lacked even basic amenities like handwash, and whenever we tried calling room service, no one answered. The property itself was in poor condition, with visible damage and lack of maintenance. The only redeeming aspect was the view from the balcony, which was genuinely beautiful. However, it does not justify the amount I paid for such a substandard experience. Would not recommend.

My stay for one day at Villa Paradiso, McLeodganj, Dharamshala was good. The standard room was clean. The washroom was clean. The staffs were helpful especially Mr. Rawat. He helped me in early check in and hiring the taxi with a reliable driver for my sight seeing and a day trip to Bir. I don't think they serve food. We ate outside as we were travelling and did not stay much in the hotel room. The only issue was of the door lock of the room. It needs repairing. Otherwise a safe and secure place budget place to stay.

The overall experience was frustrating, the locks of the main door were loose, the wooden flooring was very bad that was swollen from some ends, the linens were not clean after asking them for new linens and the replaced linens were dirty too. The main concern was door locks and the locks were able to open from any 3 of the keys. The staff was not very responsive after the complaint.

location wise is good on road hotel. resturent was closed on all days thats hurt lot. for food you have to go another hotel. amemities was ok ok. services was good. tv reachrge had been ended before check out day. bed shit was not clean. room was too small to stay but balcony view was too good. overall stay was satisfactory. in this price good hotel

The hotel at an excellent location. The view from the balcony is also very nice. You can walk by foot up to the Mcleodganj main square and if you go downhill, you'll reach Dharamshala. Both sides there are excellent cafes and stuff. My stay at Villa Paradiso started on a little unpleasant note but I have to say, they fixed all the problems on the same day. It is a old property and there's only one in charge who takes care of everything. He's the receptionist, room service and all you can imagine. The hotel is good for a budget stay. Don't expect fancy, everything is decent in the hotel. The caretaker guy helped us in getting a taxi at a reasonable price for going to kangra and Dharamshala.

This hotel is an average hotel, the linens were not clean, the washrooms were dirty and toiletries were also not provided like dental kits. Meals were also not available in the restaurant. According to the payment, it is not worth it.

Property was really nice and clean. Location was at very peaceful place. Amenities were also available. I really liked the service of staff. They were very polite and helpful. I really liked my stay. Im surely going to suggest and stay there again.

It was a comfortable stay. Room and washroom were hygienic. The staff was very humble and helpful.

Hotel location is good. You can park your car/bike over there. Pros* 1. Hotel location 2. Staff behaviour is nice cons 1. No food available. Even i could not order a tea in the morning.

My stay at the hotel was for a very short period of time but it was great staff's cooperation and hospitality was commendable. Hotel room and amenities were upto the mark. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a budget friendly stay at the himalyas.

I was not served breakfast on the second day, i couldnt charge my phone, didnt get hot water to bath.

Hospitality was not good, room cleaning average, no wifi and no dish tv connection, tv kept as show piece, no regular supply of drinking water, every time we have to call, no one picking calls in night time, kitchen was under maintenance so food should be eaten from outside. Stay was average. View was excellent. Hotel was almost unoccupied, less preferred by travelers.

The rooms were clean and good but the service staff was very lazy. Nothing was on time

There was no water when we reached at this hotel, the management is very poor. Will never recommend this place to stay

1. Water was not their 2. Poor service 3. Wifi not working 4. After complaining regarding water not coming in night and also in the morning very poor response from staff. 5. Tea cost rs 60+ gst but the taste was very bad

The attendant was super nice, good nature. Very helpful, room was also very good and clean, beautiful view.

It was a last minute change of plan and we decided to stay here. Room was clean and had a balcony. Reception and other staff were polite

I would never stay or recommend anyone at this property. This is worst than 1 star guest house. The washroom faucet and shower wasn’t working. The water was cold for bathing. Upon asking they had no idea about geysers if they were ever working. The tea was pathetic. For breakfast buffet, if had never paid we would have never waited for 1:30 hours for awful food. They don’t have servers or waiters, some local ladies were asked to make food and they kept saying chef is doing it.

We went to mcleod gunj to cover the cricket world cup. The hotel was on a beautiful location with excellent service and a very cooperative staff. It was one hell of a lifetime experience. I would definitely want to visit this beautiful place again in the near future.

Rooms were clean but the water was not always clean. Restaurant was not operational for dinner. View from balcony for premium rooms is nice but the way to dalai. Lama temple is very stiff. Staff was cordial. Limited parking space beside the hotel is available
