Vinayak Desert Camp

We got best experience at this place 'vinayak desert resort' - always remember for the kind of hospitality, respect, entertainment and helpful staff. We got call from swaroop bhaia for booking confirmation. And we requested for pickup from jaisalmer city. It saved around 2000 rs because round trip costs this much from city and in peak season it goes much more. Girdhari bhaia helped us allot and waited almost 1 hr for till we came from war meuseum. He is very friendly and helpful. We booked through mm t and we were given one camel ride as complimentary but we requested swaroop bhaia to provide us desert jeep safari as well and he agreed. Ishan took us for adventurous jeep safari and provided us camel ride. Then evening program started with traditional welcome, some snacks then cultural activities like ghumar, kalbeliya, fire dance, instruments and it was amazing. Night stay was good, we booked standard tent and it was worth its price. Keep extra blankets with you while travelling. We had to travel early morning next day and swaroop bhaia helped us, booked ticket for us and dropped outside from taxi at 5 am to board bus. It saved lot of money and time. We are really thankful for this wonderful trip.

I booked this resort after going through reviews. Also the description shows all amenities that a family need. Our experience is good based on different aspects. Food is of god quality, you can eat as much as you can (breakfast, evening tea and dinner). Owner is good but the head boy/manager (formally)is like a straight forward boy who smiles less and stick to his rules as far as things are concerned. There are two types of tents (swiss, standard). Swiss are better in terms of looks and space but some amenities mentioned here or any other websites are missing from the actual space. These are air purifier, newspaper, bed tea, mosquito net, hangers, towels, etc. Why don't the owner removes the missing amenities from the description or it is just to lure customers. Else everything is good, stay, camel ride, people, owner cooperation, cleanliness.

Vinayak Desert Camp is located in Sam, about 45 kms away from Jaisalmer City, you have to hire a cab to get here which roughly costs around. The package includes a camel safari, cultural activities for the evening, DJ, high tea, breakfast and dinner. We added on the Jeep safari for an additional sum of, it was totally worth it. We booked a standard tent, however all the amenities listed in MakeMyTrip were not provided. The tents do not have locks, but we don't face any issue with our luggage as such. The Desert safari and sunset were very good and so were the cultural events in the evening. The tents were very very very cold at night as the temperature dropped to about 6-7 degrees, the arrangements should be better in the standard tents as well. Warm water will be given in buckets upon request, the tap water is freezing and cannot be used.

My wife and I want to express to you and your staff how much we enjoyed our stay at your resort. We enjoyed your hospitality from the get go. Our first encounter was with Harish at the front desk who treated us like royalty. From then on, every encounter with your personnel was excellent. If it was breakfast, or dinner again it was first class. We have been in the hospitality business all our lives and we know that to attain that level of service is true dedication to the industry. Keep up the great work, have a very prosperous and successful season. Once again thank you. Mr. Swaroop and Harish both were really humble and ready to go extra mile for anything u ask for. Would love to stay here again and again.

Awesome little place nestled very close to the Sam Dunes. They have very spacious tents with all basic amenities provided for. The food was delicious as well. Mr swaroop, the owner is such a kind and gracious person, he personally oversees that all his guests had a great time and takes care of the needs. He goes around every tent before calling off the day inquiring about any special needs to be taken care off. In a world where everybody focuses on how to mint money, Mr Swaroop's main focus is give his guests the best time. Best part, his staff embodies him, camel safari and jeep safari were the highlights of the stay.

We stayed in the Camp for one night and witnessed the unmatchable hospitality. Camp owner Mr Swaroop is one of the best host I have ever seen and he knows how to make an experience memorable for his guests. Tents are large and equipped with all basic amenities. Buffet dinner was amazing with a variety of food options and they served early breakfast upon request. They charged a reasonable fee for Desert safari, and all activities started at time they committed at the time of check-in. Overall no complains at all and I recommend this place without a second thought.

I stayed at Vinayaka Desert Camp for three days on a family trip. The location is good and close to Sam sandunes. We'd great time at this place and hospitality was top notch, Mr. Swaroop and Mr. Harish ensured everything was on place and took good care of us. One can have both camel and jeep safari experience at reasonable price, the support is cooperative too. The food is tasty though spread is limited. In the evening you can enjoy cultural programme with light snacks and beverages. I'd like to come back and recommend this place for a nice experience.

We had a amazing time during our stay plus the staff here was so cooperative and helpful. We were provided a cab to pick us up and drop us back to Jaisalmer after that we went for jeep safari (highly recommended) and that was a thrilling experience. During some live dance and singing performances (folk art) l were organised in the camps. Meals were really good, both breakfast and dinner (good variety). Next day we went for a camel ride in sand dunes (complimentary). Overall we had a good time and I would give these camps 5 stars for their service.

Tent was very clean and nice for stay. Staff service was very good and owner was very kind.

Whenever u plan for seam sand dunes please stay this camp. Everything is super up here either location, food and room service. We specially loved the staff members of this camp who fully support & guide us. Room service is available all time. So please visit to vinayak desert camp we love this camp.

Everything about Vinayak Camp was just amazing. Food quality was excellent. Never had such tasty rajasthani food. Breakfast was superb. Best part was Jeep and camel safari. Our driver cum mentor Ishan is really wonderful person. He is extremely generous. Overall it's a 10/10 for us. Please stay at Vinayak Camp if you are coming to desert.

I enjoy a lot my stay in Vinayak camp, I relaxed and I felt very comfortable. The owner is a great host and the staff always friendly and helpful. I had a camel safari in the Sam dunes with a amazing sunset and even a jeep safari has been organized, everything very close to the camp. The buffet was delicious with big variety the cultural show was stunning with beautiful dancers and a great fires how. The room and bathroom very spacious and nice. I can just recommend.

Excellent service provided by staff of Vinayak camp, we checked around 4 PM, they arranged for our lunch, room service, driver arrangements, dinner, night folk dance was excellent, enjoyed a lot, one thing I would like to mention is that you can arrange for a better DJ. Thank you.
