VIP Road Homestay 700 Meter From Puri Railway Station

Receiving completely not ok, inside the room toilet and bed not good. If we ask something they are delaying to deliver

1. First of all there is no particular name of this homestay. No one knows where it is. I reached using location. 2. After reaching there i saw that homestay is locked. So i called the owner. He didn't receive calls initially. After 20 min, he received the call then i waited for one hour. Finally one caretaker came after waiting for longtime and calling many times. 3. I was alone for two days and nights there because no one booked this horrible homestay. I don't know why? 4. Caretaker comes once a day in morning. If anything happens there then there will be no one in homestay to help you out. Caretaker should be there for 24x7 available to help. 5. Heater/gyser was not working properly. 6. Bed was making too much noice during sleep. 7. Please do not book this homestay. There will be horror experience othetwise.

Pros- new building, building height upto 1st floor, very less customers, ac, geyser, generator, well furnished attached bathroom, water purifier, induction cooker (can make tea by own, roadside location. Nearby- branded sweet shop, branded veg & non veg restaurants. Auto fare towards swargadwar beach or golden beach or jagannath temple or otdc is rs. 80 approx. Cons- little bit mosquitoes, less lightings inside the room, wifi strength inside the room is very very week.

Pros: dining room access with good quality food. Well-stocked kitchen with induction cooker and utensils. Spacious rooms. Convenient location near the railway station. Cons: caretaker was nowhere to be seen for the entire stay. Ground floor rooms in need of major renovation. Malfunctioning ac in one room; not fixed despite complaints. Non-functional ac in dining room, affecting comfort during meals. Cable tv not working in any of the rooms. Lack of mirrors in most rooms, causing inconvenience. Our stay at vip road homestay in puri had its positives, such as the complimentary dining access and stocked kitchen. However, issues like the caretaker's lack of care, ac problems, non-functional cable tv, and room deficiencies left us with a mixed impression. We hope the management addresses these concerns to improve the overall guest experience.
