Viraj Sarovar Portico

I have this blind faith in the brand sarovar portico. I consider the chain to deliver excellent business Viraj Sarovar Portico’s and rarely ever have i been disappointed. This particular one was no exception. Except for a few issues it met all my needs. The restaurant staff was particularly courteous to accommodate my unique requirements. The property has this plush feel about it. The rooms, elevators and the lobby itself are grand. The disappointments lay in the following noteworthy places. 1. You are unlikely to find an operational bell desk, so be ready to haul your own luggage to the room. I don’t know why this is so, maybe cost cutting? 2. Bathroom amenities are much short of the mark. 3. Last but not the least, the rooms are inadequately protected from the national highway noise. So, if you are a light sleeper this is a cause for concern particularly during peak traffic hours. I may add that none of these are reasons enough to not go back. I would happily return.

Booked for 2 days and being a local resident of the city had the smoothest experience and this was the 2nd time i stayed here with my fiancé. In room dining options are limited but almost everything is worth it. I had an experience with IRD about Honey chilli potato and they were understanding enough to replace the item when asked. Do take the breakfast option when staying because the breakfast buffet is good. The cleanliness of the rooms and washrooms was spot on and all my requests from Housekeeping were attended promptly. The Room booked by us was Junior Suite and I can say the room was worth paying the price I paid. Overall a great experience and will be going back again soon.

Though i booked for an office guest but as he suggested i am sharing that great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Viraj Sarovar Portico. Everything about the Viraj Sarovar Portico was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The Viraj Sarovar Portico is located at the outskirts of the Jammu city much away from hustle & bustle of the city thus offering you a calm stay. The rooms give you all comfort you deserve with its cleanliness. The food was simply amazing & super tasty. In case you forget some basic things for personal use just give a call to housekeeping & they will drop it to your room. The Viraj Sarovar Portico has a nice look & rooms have soothing ambience. Our kashmir road trip started and ended with our stay in viraj sarovar portico jammu. The property is relatively new, very conveniently located for entry/exit from jammu and with ample parking space. We got an upgrade to the suite which had a bathtub and a shower and was very spacious and clean with prompt service. Restaurant has good options for lunch/dinner and a great breakfast spread. Easy check in and check out process. We enjoyed our stay here immensely.

Always best, sarovar portico ! everything is perfect just like always, the rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Location is perfect. It’s away from city’s hustle and bustle. Really gives you the peace you were looking for. Property’s great too; been around 4-4. 5 years, fairly new. The stakeholders have maintained it well. Rooms are clean & aesthetic; in-room service’s great too. No complaints there. Just one thing - food. Could’ve been better. Much better. Everything else was perfect!

This Viraj Sarovar Portico is best for stay at jammu. Breakfast was delicious. Jst rooms doesn't have fans(as being a 4 star category. But staff is cooperative. Overall very nice Viraj Sarovar Portico.

The Viraj Sarovar Portico is quite well maintained. It seems that since it is around 10kms away from the jammu city, the occupancy might be low. The rooms are clean. Breakfast options are limited, but food quality is good

Location and ambiance of the Viraj Sarovar Portico is very good. Room was good but towels and toiletries were not good. They didn't even provide sufficient towels and they were not even clean and good quality. Food was good.

Property was found in excellent rate from mmt. Reaching at the Viraj Sarovar Portico, i was delighted to see such a nice and big property, way city noise. Room was excellent, room service was excellent, all the staff are very friendly and supportive. Food was also awesome and over all i just loved the staying. Will visit again in my next trip. the overall experience was good specially the hospitality and the staff was also very cooperative & polite. ambiance was also too brilliant impressed with the property, but the room service was very slow. otherwise everything was alright❤️.

Rooms are clean. Reception staff is very professional and soft spoken. In room dining prices are bit high.
