Viruksham Residency

We stayed at Viruksham Residency in mid-December and had a mixed experience. Here's a detailed breakdown: Pros: 1. Clean and Spacious Rooms: We stayed in G2, a ground-floor family room, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable for a family of four. 2. Proximity to Palanimala Foothill: The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to the foothill, making it extremely convenient for temple visits. 3. Cool Room Temperature: Despite not having AC, the room remained cool during winter, and the fan was more than sufficient. 4. General Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the property was commendable. Cons: 1. Frequent Power Cuts: While there is a generator, it took about 10 minutes to switch on, which was inconvenient at times. 2. Washroom Issues: The flush in our room didn’t work properly, taking around 20 minutes to refill. Despite informing the staff, it wasn’t resolved, which was frustrating during our stay. 3. Limited Parking: Parking space is minimal, and you might have to rearrange your car multiple times as others check in or out. 4. No In-House Restaurant: Though there are small eateries nearby, the absence of an on-site restaurant may be inconvenient for some guests

Hotel is very close to the temple so that's a plus. but since we arrived at 7 morning, there was some arm twisting by the staff to pay more money as they said booking is from 12 to 12. I said I booked from 21 to22 and I came on 22 morning. so I can't check out at 12. finally after many arguments, they agreed till 3. so that was not very pleasant. but otherwise, for all intebts and purposes, the Viruksham Residency is practical as it is close and we can rest and freshen up.

It was for a day and everything looks fine w.r.t room and the staff. Just 2 min walk from the temple steps. We reached in the early hours and provided an early check in with a nominal addition fee which is nice about this Viruksham Residency otherwise it’ll be very tough. They have a wash basin outside in the room so instead of occupying bathroom we can finish of brushing outside thereby saving some time. Overall it’s a good little stay without any complaints.

good to stay, but soap box and hanger in bathroom are not fitted in proper position. both are fitted on toilet basin. thia is only minus in this room.

Everything was good about stay, but little inconvenience in parking. Over all everything about Viruksham Residency was very good.

All are good except car parking.

Location is close to malai adivaram. I stayed in deluxe non ac, rooms are very compact & clean. It's newly constructed one. Stay was good
