Vismita County

We really enjoyed our stay at the vismita county premises. We traveled as a family of 6 adults and 3 kids, and each of us loved our stay at the property. From the point of valet to check out, the staff were very courteous and willing to help with whatever we needed. We usually are very picky with our food taste preferences, but almost every dish at the restaurants and the bar exceeded our expectations and was really yummy. Even the kids enjoyed the varied food options. The highlight of the food was the malanadu cuisine which we had requested the chef to prepare for us. The location of the property is great, and the vibe of the resort is very serene. There is an aura of privacy and if you want a place to get away from the rigors of the world, this is a great option to choose. The property itself is very beautiful and nicely maintained. There is a path around the property which is around a kilometre long and provides a good option for walking and biking. The bikes provided were in good condition and there were enough stands around the property to park them. We stayed at the jacuzzi suites and the rooms did not disappoint. The view from the bed was perfect, especially during sunset when all you had to do was to open the curtains to be treated to the beautiful sky. We were briefed about the jacuzzi operation during check in and we relaxed in the tub almost every day. The only thing that i would perhaps ask the management to make the stay more beautiful is that they can potentially start providing tours or walks of the plantations of coffee/ pepper on the property. This would be the cherry on the cake. I would definitely recommend vismita county to anyone who wants to visit chikmagalur.

Vismita county resort it was a pleasure staying here. It is a decent sized property with 16 rooms currently. 4 more rooms are getting constructed. Staff is very helpful. The food in their restaurant is absolutely delicious. If you are looking for north indian food (sabzi, roti, dal rice) or food for fussy kids who have special requirements, this place is perfect. My son is a picky eater and our main worry on trips is "what will he eat. At vismita, we could order customized meals which is less spicy and specially catered to the child's requirements. The noodles and manchurian gravy was so tasty that we had the same for 2 dinners. Friendly staff. Great food. Clean rooms. It was a perfect stay. The filter coffee at breakfast is also very good. They have a game room above the restaurant which is a good place to spend time during the afternoons if you don't step out in the hot sun or in the evenings after a full day of touristy visits. They also helped with birthday decorations in the room and a birthday cake, though the cake was not as delicious as i thought it would be, considering the other food we ate was fab! location is a little far from the touristy view points like mullayanagiri peak, waterfalls, hirekolele lake but it is within an hour's drive. Drive to all these places is very beautiful. Chikmagalur market is also within 15-20 mins drive and you can find many coffee shops where you can purchase coffee powder for filter coffee. Panduranga coffee is famous and rightly so. The filter coffee we bought from there is very tasty. My personal preference is hand-beaten nescafe coffee but even i enjoyed the filter coffee. You can also buy the coffee powder from vismita county too.

We were 3 of us - Me, my spouse and my son who visited this beautiful place for a long stay of 5 days. We loved our stay here. All the staff were very humble and nice. The hospitality was so good. The facilities were well maintained. The rooms were having beautiful view. The swimming pools were so nice. Housekeeping staff decorated our beds. Special thanks to Mr.Girish, Mr.Jaga P, Mr. Pradeep, Ms. Nalini from Housekeeping for their efforts to decorate our bed. The food was ultimate. Any food you order was very delicious 😋 After having here, the standard set was so high that any food we had outside felt tasteless as that was the standard they had. Special thanks to the chef Mr. Raghu as he has magic in his hands. The Vismita County staff were so courteous and humble and sweet. Thanks to Mr. Madhu, Mr.Karthik, Mr. Vithan, Mr. Kumar. The resort is full of greenery and small ponds with interlocked passages. There were cycles to commute around the resort and also a buggie which would help you take a stroll around the restaurant. The resort also had a bar alongside a small pool. Ultimately the entire resort was a best place to relax and chill out!! Thanks Vismita County. We still have your hangover and want to visit you again soon

We stayed for one night at vismita county, chikmagalur. The place is mind blowing with lush greenery and coffee plantation around. The covid safety protocols were taken care neatly. The complete staff at vismita county resort was very nice and polite. The property is located around 10 kms from city center and it's the best place to relax and spend good time with family and friends. We really liked the food and it was very yummy especially the dinner where one can sit and have food close to fire camp. The room was well sanitised and kept neat. What we also enjoyed the most was the indoor and outdoor games like chess, carom, fose ball, tt and outdoor games badminton and volleyball. One can chill at kalyani bar which is next to the pool and you can witness the rise set. We also enjoyed the small ride around the coffee plantation in a golf car which was fun and my son enjoyed it a lot. First of all i booked this property for 2 days after going through reviews(note: i was more interested for gateway chikmagalur, but that wasn't available for the selected dates. Each good review about this property was matching, rooms, food, property location, staff, scenic views from room. It was raining entire stay at vismita. I don't have words how to express the beauty of nature we saw here. Evening at the bar, with music n rain and then awesome food, was just wow. You can take a tour of near by village early morning by bicycle from the property, you will love it for sure. From complementary breakfast to alacarte lunch n dinner, really enjoyed the food. Ask chef for special dishes any. Only point where i was disappointed, requested for 1st floor stay but got ground floor, but they said its auto allocated if you book it online. But if you book it directly then your request will be given priority. We will definitely revisit @vismita county with family. 5 * from me for this memorable stay.

Stay in visimita was awesome, big. And spacious room very cleanliness, very friendly, delicious food, and also customised food. Me and my family enjoyed the stay. We visited during weekdays so no rush felt like entire property is yours. Felt very calm environment. Staff were really responsive and very welcoming. Especially vinith has taken care of all our requirement and also he helped in sight seeing as well. Pradeep had very decorated the rooms my son has enjoyed very day of the stay. I definitely recommend this resort. I felt one negative review that due to less people instead of buffet breakfast they have organised allakart and it was not informed us earlier. They had very less items and whatever we were looking which wasn’t available and it was bit disappointing for us and provided feedback for the same. Otherwise stay was awesome!

A superb location but overpriced for the locality and activities offered. Apart from it my wife and self being senior citizen experienced awesome hospitality. The concern by madhura at front office about our arrival time, lunch etc. Before we arrived from a day in advance is appreciated. Can offer traditional welcome drink. House keeping by nalini and chandan made us feel at home. Well done. Dining experience under the keen eyes of master chef raghu was commendable. A great personal interaction by vethan, kartik, sachin and madhu was really heart warming. A great service by them. More bright lighting all along walking track and lake are is required. Overall a great enjoyable and memorable stay. Keep it up.

The stay at vismita county was really wonderful. We were looking for a good break during the early summers and good, safe stay during the covid-19. N vismita was the perfect place for it. The location of the resort is lovely, set amid-st the lush green coffee plantations. We had booked the villa with a private pool and it was just perfect for a family with 2 kids. Both the restaurants inside the resort served good food. The staff are also very good. Their cycling track, indoor games area n outdoor games area is good for both kids n adults. We loved our 2 days stay at vismita county. Would love to visit again n would suggest the place to our friends.

Property location is good it's worth going to staff, and all are also very nice we really like our stay it's a altogether different experience but there food was not good. Taste and everything is not good and expensive too

The place is very approachable. Property is amazingly maintained, very good and helpful staff. No issues what do ever. Food specially the local cuisine was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning for a weekend stay.

I visited the ropert on 1st august 2021 and the location of property is very good in middle of coffee plantation! stayed in room with private pool and seems to be wrong time to use pool as water is kind of freezing due to weather. But definitely worth choosing villa with private pool due to privacy and spacious room ( required for me as i have 2 year old). On the food section i loved the menu, which has vast option to choose from. Not to forget their malnad food menu which requires pure order and worth tasting it

The place is well maintained and close to the nature

Of all the location is fantastic. It's pure greenery as far as you could see;very well developed and well kept. We stayed in a family room on the second floor-senior citizens may find it little difficult climbing up and down. The room was very spacious and had fantastic views. The staff are very friendly and take additional care. Food was very good. Complimentary breakfast-though limited options, but very good in quality and taste. Resort is little over priced, but this seems to be the case in most of chikmagalur.
