Vistara Resort

Choosing Vistara resorts was a pure gamble. The only reason that pulled us towards this one was the reviews. Our Weekend getaway was to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday. We had requested for an early check in and the best part was the call we received in the morning of our check in day regarding our course of arrival and wishing us a safe journey. The Resort has a serene view with the River flowing right across your balcony. The cottage was clean and spacious. The food was fresh and made to our taste buds. The staff was welcoming and pleasant and also ready to take in any suggestions and feedback. They also arranged a lovely candle lit, floral table set up with a cake alongside a private campfire behind our cottage. A special mention to Mr. Nivin, his main chef and the server who attended us every single time without any delay. A very peaceful feel at home stay is assured at Vistara.

I visited Visatra Resort which is around 5 kms from Ambalavayal. This is my second visit but, with family this time. The most attractive and amusing thing about this property is its location facing towards Karapuzha Dam. We have opted for Superior lake view and the room was maintained well. The staffs, whom ever we interacted for any sort of enquiry was welcoming and appreciate their swift response with regards to the small maintenance, extra bed arrangements. Cleaning car, Cleaning room. etc etc. We enjoyed the view of sunrise and sunset directly from our room. A special mention about Bijo and Derin. Both of them did a wonderful job in taking care of guests. I had even suggest couple of my colleges here to try this property. Suggest if the team can introduce more option for À la carte during dinner. As we were given buffet menu to choose for our dishes for dinner.

This resort is located right in front of the lake and is surrounded my mountains, which is its main attraction. This place is so serene and peaceful. Room and overall resort is well maintained and clean. Food is very tasty and prices are quite reasonable. I have selected lake facing sky villa and spent a lot of time sitting in the balcony and enjoying the beauty of lake and mountains. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly and they took good care of us. Surprisingly they also arranged a candle light dinner which was even more generous of them. I didnt face any challenge during my stay. This resort is one of the best place to stay in wayanad and enjoy the nature

One of the best resorts I have ever been. Very well maintained and located right next to a Lake which gives a good view from the rooms. Swimming pool is small but clean and as someone mentioned it gives illusion of an infinity pool. Excellent staff, always polite and ready to help. Food was excellent especially the dinner buffet lots of varieties and each item was equally good. The team also arranged for a candle light dinner and birthday celebration for my wife for which I Am very grateful to them. Massage and spa services are also available. We enjoyed Wayand more because of our stay in the Resort than the nearby tourist paces.

Situated in the backwaters of the karapuzha dam, this resort gives great views throughout the day. The rooms were large and very clean. Great service from the Vistara Resort staff. You don't need to step out of this place if you come with family or with friends. Lot of play activities for kids like trampoline, jungle gyms, large slides, etc. They also arranged for live music on both nights we had stayed, and the first day's performance by the duo who played flute and guitar was simply amazing. Would really recommend this place for anyone who wants a care free getaway.

The room was Lake view and it was spacious. They arranged a table and wooden chairs in the balcony so that we can sit and watch Lake and mountains. If u sit in the restaurant also the view is Lake. The staffs were very helpful. The manager Nivin made our stay a great experience. He did all the needed. We requested to keep the pool open for us at night and we used the swimming pool till morning at 4 am. Even the chef prepared special food for us on request which were not available in menu. I can recommend this Resort if u want to have a relaxing stay in Wayanad

We had a great overnight stay. We are so impressed and love with the location. Lovely lake view directly from bed. Pleasant balcony. Spacious room and bathroom. Very neat and clean. Good ambience and very quite and calm place. Definitely, good staff at your service always. Hospitality will be appreciable. Tasty foods. I really enjoyed well. In Waynad, my most preference will be Vistara at best and economical price. I would recommend all my friends atleast stay once there. You will definitely like it. Thank you team Vistara and staff, you are awesome.

Liked the room. The food was good. The food is cooked once you order. That makes it quite home made. The freshness and the taste of the food really impressed us. The staff are friendly too. Even with all these why I gave good rating. Couple of things food is on the expensive side. TV channels are very basic. Would have loved to have some standard English news channels and movies. For the room tariff paid, hair dryer in the room is something that is expected. It's is these small things need attention.

The approach Road is a pain but the first view of Vistara Resort more than compensates for the ordeal. The service is too good from first welcome to last goodbye. The rooms and property are very well maintained with some spectacular views. Food was good bit again the service touchpoints is the icing of the Vistara experience

Everything was excellent. Only concern was hot water in bathroom. Apart from that, excellent staff, great food, breath-taking lake view from the room. Awesome location.

The property is close to Lake. You can watch sunset if sky is clear. Several bird species can be spotted in morning and evening hours. The staff provided excellent service

Food was good. View from the room was awesome. If they arrange few more activities in the premises, visitors will be happy

A very beautiful place with an amazing staff. Though there are not many things to do in Wayanad but the resort is phenomenal. It's near a reservoir Lake.

Location of resort is good. The view from the room is beautiful and romantic. Staffs were very supportive, the food was tasty. We asked for a candle light dinner. They made it really good. Thanks for your support.
