Very nice stay in the centre of guwahati. I visit this city every two months for my professional work and always look forward to staying here. The staff is polite, the front reception very responsive and housekeeping professional. It is in a quiet part of the city and has minimal noise disturbance at night. The only aspect which could improve is the breakfast. Although it is fairly elaborate but it doesn’t have that zing which could call it superlative. A few more local specialities, a better juice choice, a more attentive service could do wonders. The serving staff needed better supervision. I was served an average not so hot dos a on table though there were not many customers in the restaurant. I could hear a lot of loud local language chatter from the kitchen which could have been avoided. The cut fruits were nice and so were the bakery products. The overall ambience of the lobby and the Vivanta Guwahati is warm and pleasant. All in all, a very charming and neat place to stay in guwahati with the legendary taj hospitality! looking forward to staying here at my next visit as well

It was great experience on our stay on vivanta guwahati, on reaching reception for check-in mr. Lakhya sarma, duty manager help us to do the smooth check-in. On reaching our room we have found that our room was well decorated with baloons and a delicious mango flavored pasty was there to welcome us in the room. We were so grateful for the gesture of the vivanta guwahati and for the delicious pasty for our newly marriage. My wife also felt so loved with this gesture. Last but not the least food was awesome whatevery we had and i would like to mention krishna chhetri from restaurant seven who was so polite and made us comfortable and feel like we are regular guest though this was our first visit to vivanta guwahati. We would like to acknowledge and appreciate each and everyone whom we have encountered while our stay i. E. Room service, swimming pool attendent, captain and steward from restaurant and always smelling faces at reception. With this our stay was 5start service and was memorable for our life time.

It was a short trip of just one night this time but this time we felt even more welcomed and the fact that most staff remembered us as usual customers is a nice touch. Special appreciation to rajshree from reception and bib-hash from housekeeping who were both excellent in their endeavors to make our stay perfect. 5 star rating for the both of them is the bare minimum. The food, however, over the passage of time, the standard has dropped considerably. Do take a note about the same. It would also be of great help if the Vivanta Guwahati provides a facility whereby guests who travel with their own vehicles can get access to a car wash if and when required.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Vivanta Guwahati. Everything about the Vivanta Guwahati was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

The location of this Vivanta Guwahati is very good, on g. S. Road, near khanapara. The road is not crowded and it is easy to park a car on the roadside. We had booked a basic room. The furniture was not that great and the size of the room was ok. The minibar was not free. We had a little problem in contacting the room dining department. The food was good, and not that spicy. During checkout, there was system problem, which we did not expect from a taj Vivanta Guwahati.

The Vivanta Guwahati is rightly located in the most accessible and beautiful part of the city. My check in experience was wonderful and the staff is really helpful and courteous. The amenities they provided were all well packaged and the property is hygienically well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean and have a large window with the scenic views of the hills and clouds. Overall my stay was fantastic and comfortable.

Service standard was not 5 star level. Rooms are good and clean. Need to improve staff response, specially in reception. Foods are good and delicious.
