the hotel was not up to the mark of 5 star facilities.Bathroom was not that much clean.shower is damaged. refrigerator is empty no snacks in the room.the elevator of the hotel smells ugly.corriodor also smells.Not up to the mark of Taj Standards.

Feedback: Stay at Taj Vivanta, Jammu (1st – 3rd October 2025) Our check-in experience was smooth and welcoming. However, the rest of our stay left us quite disappointed — especially considering the Taj/Vivanta brand standards we’ve come to expect. The rooms were noticeably smaller compared to other Taj and Vivanta properties we’ve stayed at. The food experience was unfortunately the biggest letdown. The buffet spread for both dinner and breakfast was very limited, and a few dishes even seemed stale. When we politely pointed this out, we were coldly told to order à la carte instead of being offered any genuine assistance or concern. As vegetarian guests, it was disheartening to see white rice placed between non-vegetarian curries, with guests using the same serving spoon across dishes. This is completely unacceptable, especially at a reputed brand like Taj, where attention to detail and guest sensitivity are expected as standard. We were on a pilgrimage trip, and the lack of care or understanding for guests with vegetarian preferences. Regards Pramod Joshi

Food was very bad not much options on breakfast and also the options which are there had minimal taste. Seems Vivanta Jammu had reduce there quality.am coming to thi place from last 3 years but this time it was a show down.

Ambience, hospitality is excellent. House keeping and restaurant was good. To name few staff in restaurant were Manjula,Rajat,Raman and more. View from my window was superb. Me and my wife were impressed. My good wishes to all the staff who attended us.👍

It was a very comfortable stay. Special Thanks to the staff - Manjula, Rajat, Meshewar, Raman, Sushil, Ujla, Zaffar. They ensured that the stay was good.

The stay was great. I had requested for room decoration and it was done beautifully. The room had view of Gurdwara sahib which added to the charm. The rooms are spacious and sheets were clean. Food was tasty. Staff was very polite and helpful. Definitely booking this property again.

Stay is good here. The location is perfect, with railway station and airport in proximity. Food is good. Amenities could have been better as compared to other properties of Vivanta. We were not provided with iron and ironing board, room slippers were provided only for a single person despite of booking the room for 2 people. Notepad and pencil/pen missing. TV had very less or no channels. It was just a show piece. There were visible traces of dust on the floor at many places. However, the overall service was decent enough, good staff and great view from the window for a premium room.

Nice experience with the hotel staff and good ambience. Enjoyed our stay with beautiful view in the morning and nice breakfast spread.

I had a very pleasant stay at Vivanta Jammu. I would especially like to acknowledge the restaurant staff Mansi, Komal, Tanshu, Ujla, Manjula, and Lokesh — for their exceptional service and hospitality. A special mention goes to Mansi, who consistently went out of her way to check on us and offer different food options. She even arranged special dishes upon request, making our dining experience truly memorable. I had a very pleasant stay at Vivanta Jammu. Property is situated at center of the city. Though the property is well maintained but lifts and corridors always have stale smell. Rooms are ok and nicely maintained. Food quality is pathetic. We ordered dinner, 2 dishes were smelling foul and had bad after taste. Similar situation was for the breakfast buffet. Also thr is a shortage of staff which made us to wait for almost 40 minutes in room for luggage and similarly we waited for another 25 minutes for luggage during check out.

Nice location , good clean rooms and good food swimming pool is on roof and a bit small , bar and restaurant are really good.

the hotel is nothing like any other Vivanta, food is worst, breakfast options are very few, spa is highly shady. Must be avoided highly.
