We were at katra for vaishno devi darshan from 19 Oct to 22 Oct 2022 during this we stayed at taj Vivanta at Katra . Recently it was comfort inn now taj has overtakes it . It is located at 8 km approx (15min) from Katra (SMVD) railway station. They have provided their pick and drop from railway station and charged 540 rs + GST . Everything about this Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi was great . Their breakfast was awesome their staff were very gentle and ready to help every time . The area of this Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi was 9 acres which was huge . The swimming pool was not ready when we were there but soon it will be start I think. The room was very clean they have provided all the basics needs . It was my third visit to vaishno devi but this time I choose to stay this Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi and it worth it overall it is best if you like to stay some natural stuff . And obvious it is chain of taj and they keep their name . When you visit at this resort try to include its breakfast because there is no restaurant nearby . And of course dinner is costly so it is better to have a good breakfast 👍🏻

Property : it was a beautiful landscape with mountain and garden view rooms. Property had spa, gift shop, activity room to spend time with family and friends. The swimming pool was under construction and i shall be looking forward to it during my next visit. Food: the daily breakfast spread was delicious and had variety of options. The live counter was serving dishes on the go. For lunch and dinner multiple cuisines were available. I enjoyed the crispy garlic naan with all the curries. The restaurant staff was super warm and they even remade a dish i found under seasoned. Extremely hospitable hardworking folks. There was a notice board to make people aware of the food wastage and this initiative definitely earns an applause. Hygiene : good. Thorough and frequent room cleaning. The is room for improvement in the housekeeping service time. It was a little slow and had to remind twice. But the request was always addressed.

It was a very comfortable stay. It is worth spending in this Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi. Everything is so well managed. Their staff are so polite and humble. They have a very good service, can’t point out anything which i didn’t like in this Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi. Food, cleanliness, facilities everything is very nice. Will highly recommend to stay at this place. The best part which i liked was they provide the complimentary pick up and drop facility for the people who are going for darshan, even we came back at 1 in the midnight but their taxi was available. We had a very good experience with this Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi.

Vivanta - katra has been one of my best experiences and a pleasant stay so far in the country. What makes it best is their staff : arun, ravi, vijay, poonam, shivani, rohit, suman. All of them treated us like family. Everyday greeting us with a smile made my stay so warm and sweet. Food quality and service was excellent. Breakfast buffet had options for everyone. Dinner combo offers were reasonable as well. Highlight of my stay was spa services by tattva spa done by manisha was extremely soothing and relaxing. She is one of their best. The location is great if you're looking for some peace and serenity.

The property is beautiful. Located 7km before Katra town and about an hour's drive from Jammu airport, it is in a quiet location. The rooms arent huge but comfortable enough for a short stay needed for the Yatra. The Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi only serves Veg and no alcohol like the rest of Katra. It has a lawn and a small pool and a limited Activity room for leisure time. The Spa was good and helped relaxed the feet after the visit. The in-house store has most items you would want to take back from J&K and does not have 5-star exorbitant rates. The staff is helpful and friendly.

During my two-day stay at vivanta katra, i was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of amenities offered at such an affordable price point. The managers, particularly arun and jasmine, were exceptionally courteous and welcoming. They accommodated our extended stay graciously and ensured that breakfast was kept warm despite our delayed return from the trek. The cleanliness standards were commendable, the food was delicious, and the picturesque swimming pool added to the overall enjoyment. I also relished strolling through the property and indulging in the spa experience.

Excellent stay with cooperative staff. Everything 10/10 from rooms, services and food. Evening art i was a special treat. The place has a special activity room which my kid liked a lot. If you are looking g for a perfect stay in katra then is the right place. Complimentary pick and drop for bhawan was out of the box service. The food was so good and a complimentary cake for our anniversary was like cherry on the cake. Would love to come again for vaishno devi darshan and definitely my choice would be vivanta by taj, katra. Keep up the good work team vivanta, katra.

We had a wonderful stay at the katra vivanta. The room was beautiful and the location was just great. The breakfast each morning was really good as well and we could eat on our own schedule. We would certainly stay there again next time we are in katra.

Super comfortable and super clean with waking up viewing mata vaishno devi darshan. The staff as you walk in to the property is utterly courteous and polite. The property offers you alot with a welcome drink and the ambience and alot of greenery in terms of the view, with well maintained landscape.

The rooms were clean, with beautiful garden view. Staff was very polite and very welcoming. Breakfast buffe t had very good variety and was fresh.

Good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, loved the aarti done in the Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi premises, the Vivanta Katra, Vaishno Devi is offers lush green grass views surrounded by tall trees and help in connecting with nature, i came back after tiring 02 days in vaishnodevi shrine, so the stay helped me to rejuvenate.
