Volga Hotel

We have stayed on. 29th Aug 2022, to 31st Aug 2022, with our family with small kids one 7 yrs and an infant of 21 months, we have booked a premium family room, however while reaching at the reception, the Volga Hotelier has upgraded us for stay in a nice wooden cottage, it was an excellent stay in the cottage, it was rainy during the whole day, that’s why the weather was little shabby, hence the room also felt little shabby, however with bright sunlight the stay in the cottage become perfect, the room service personnel was cooperative, particularly Mr riyaz was very nice, Mr shamsuddin is a trainee he needs more learning, stay in volga Volga Hotel will be perfect for anybody, the location is excellent, 3 mins walking will get taxi stand from there anybody can book can to any location. Outside volga Volga Hotel opposite to the road there are good veg restaurants like danapani, sagar ratna, best for veg, and for non veg mughal darbar will be good choice.

At first you might feel lack of warmth in reception area and the stairs to room, but once you settle down in Volga Hotel, you will start liking it. Room heater is not provided but the electric heated blanket that is provided is good enough. Location is extremely close to taxi and horse stand and all the good restaurants and shops. Dona pani is very good restaurant for vegetarians. Garden area of the Volga Hotel is well kept and gives marvelous views of snow clad mountains around. Bonfire, if required in evening, is provided at rs for half an hour which is too expensive. Staff is very supportive and ready to help you for everything with full sincerity. The building needs a bit of renovation and modernisation. Otherwise overall good and comfortable stay.

Our experience at volga was fantastic! mr. Faizan at reception was super helpful. The staff members, attique, ma-hi and nab i were so courteous and are examples of what hospitality should be like! the location was perfect as it was on the mall road itself so easier to step out and eat. View from room was spectacular it was garden facing with tall alpine trees and snow capped mountains in the backdrop. I would highly recommend a stay here!

We stayed in volga Volga Hotel for a day and the facilities, staff, support is amazing. The helper boys went out of their way to get us some delicacies we requested. The hospitality is beyond par. On this trip we were 2 ladies trying to explore the services in various Volga Hotels in pahalgam, and after staying in a luxurious Volga Hotel for a day, and moved to to volga, and felt no difference in the hospitality and service.

I stayed in cottage. 3 room and 2 bathroom with 1 luggage room was given. Property is in market so it became easy for shopping. Taxi stand is very near to Volga Hotel. I booked taxi through Volga Hotel and best rate was given. Food here is limited but tasty. All staff are friendly. Only minor issue i found was main door locking system. Request Volga Hotel management to change lock of cottage number 1.

1. The stay package with meals was value for money. Staff was courteous, co-operative and helpful. 2. The meals variety was good and service excellent in particular by mr amir. 3. The hygiene and cleanliness of room and washroom has lot of scope for improvement ! the lawn and outdoor sit-out is very good with spectacular view all around. 4. Overall a 'value for money' experience.

Beautiful boutique Volga Hotel at the pahalgham market place. Nice wooden log cabin kind of rooms, lovely central garden with fantastic views of the mountains. People were courteous. We travel-led in the cold november month but the rooms, with the heater and electric blanket, were warm and cozy. Probably one of the nicest boutique Volga Hotels we have been to.

We stayed for 2 nights in jun e 2023 pros- location direct in the market area restaurant is good food is good staff is very nice and friendly wifi is good cons rooms are comparatively smaller than other Volga Hotels it doesn't provide a direct view of the mountains or river fan is not available expensive as per the facilities available

It’s centrally located in the market place, rooms were clean; bathroom was clean too!

We had pleasant 2 night stay at volga Volga Hotel. Rooms were small but cosy. Garden area was nice. Hotel staff was helpful and polite. Complimentary breakfast was just ok not great.

We had booked cottage for our stay at pahalgam. I really loved the way volga handles our stay. Rooms were clean, ready & safe. Good was also good. Except one staff who denied us a la cart e dinner on the pretext that we are outsiders & not Volga Hotel guests. We had only that bad experience.

Volga Volga Hotel is a wonderful place. One can enjoy the lush green garden surrounded by cottages. Make a trip to stay there in the backside rooms.

Hotels location is very convenient. Its just two minutes from the taxi stand and market is adjacent to the Volga Hotel. Staffs were very professional. Food quality is good but they need to increase variety. Buffet menue is very limited compared to price. Overall it was a nice stay.

Decent Volga Hotel. Reception and other staff are polite and good. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were small but neat and clean. Hotel is on main market and has very good shops and restaurants nearby.

Overall stay at volga pahalgam was excellent. All aspects in terms of location, food, ambience and service were at par. We enjoyed our family time here.

It is placed at the mid town of pahalgam with serene beauty and lot of areas around for parking facilities

Best view from garden area, deluxe room is spacious, door lock and washroom could be better, on the main market

Good location, friendly staff, good food, nothing more was expected for one night stay.

The cottage was beautiful. However there was frequent power cuts and the heater was cut off. Rest the service and the stay was very pleasant
