Vythiri Hill Palace | Rooms & Caretaker

It was really a very good experience. The room and service was over to the expectations. Had a very comfortable stay in a peaceful atmosphere. Ambience was really good. Room was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was adorable. Overall we had a great time there. Thankyou for very good service.

Location wise it's a good property, also the surrounding is very scenic but when it comes to food and cleanliness, somewhat it lacks. Breakfast given has no option just few kerala dishes, even basic bread jam or egg can't be provided as complimentary breakfast. Extra charges for those. Cleanliness in the room is not so maintained.

1. Property is good but very congested road and parking. 2. We received wet and dirty bedsheet second day of our stay. 3. Tv remote not working. 4. Mug broken. 5. Water bottle unsealed. 6. Bathroom dustbin not cleaned. 7. Green tea used glass left in used condition. 8. Bed table drawer broken. 9. Charger point not properly working. 10. Stains on tower, not clean at all.

The property manager was available through phone calls and responsive. The rooms, bathrooms are pretty clean and beds are arranged properly. The location was so prime to reach places. Affordable and luxury. The rooms are comparatively cheaper and had good scenic view outside. Overall 9. 5 / 10

The hotel is situated in a very scenic place with lush green tea gardens to the south topped with mountains in the horizon, but all this beauty is brought down by poor quality rooms. The room was not properly cleaned during our visit. The cot was broken and was swaying since the headboard was loose. There were dust everywhere on the bed. The toilet had too much dust on the fans and windows. Also the windows on the toilet could not be closed. The bedsheet did not look properly washed as there were stains on them. The room had a kettle but it had filthy water in it and there were some particles stuck to the bottom.

The location is good. You can see the tea plantation from the rooms. Affordable price and decent stay

We did a late check in at 8pm and the property owner was badly drunk and however he did not misbehave thank god. The room provided was a basement room under the stairs and the linens were not good and the bathroom had left over slippers and not in good condition with unclean buckets and mug. We had managed to get some rest and checked out early. It's a big no for long stays beyond a day.

the best part is the location, you get to stay in the middle of Wayanad's tea estate. The caretaker Khalid helps in every way even navigating and guiding you and also makes communication easier with the locals. I would love to come back to it.

Location: nice location overlooking the tea gardens. From main road till hotel parking, it's narrow road which can support only 1 vehicle passing at a time. Rooms: rooms were mostly clean but linens were torn at places and even though we checked in around 4pm, they were still cleaning and prepping it up. Some wooden furniture on the top floor balcony were broken/damaged and nothing was available to sit. However, in the ground floor balcony there were lot of plastic chairs at least. Service and staff: staff is overall quite responsive and helpful, they helped us get a sightseeing package and served the breakfast in time. Overall the property as such is very good with quality materials used in construction but if it's not maintained properly then it's not going to last long.

Not a pleasant stay!

It's a good place to stay with fantastic view from bedroom and an outside sitting area with tea garden view right in front, it s fantastic. Provision of food would be an added advantage. The host mr nazaar and sudeep were fantastic and made the stay perfectly comfortable.

The property is in good location, you will get good greenery view of tea garden from your balcony. The caretaker was very helpful but he was having less staff so he was always busy. No beverages available at property, breakfast ordered from outside.

Stay was good but i think this is not for family, it a my personal opinion

Loved the ambiance and the balcony view. Staffs were concerned, friendly and extremely helpful.

We spent a night at vythiri hill palace. It was a pretty decent stay. The hospitality of staff is great. We booked the balcony room which is budget friendly. Overall a decent experience. Pros: budget friendly, decent kerala breakfast cons: no food option at the property. The food from the nearby restaurant wasn't great. Next thing which was inconvenient was the real tiny bathroom. A person can hardly manage to bath from there. Overall do not expect too much. You would get a decent view of hills and coffee plantation from your balcony.

Caretaker's service too bad. The water is overflowing from bathroom to bedroom. Caretaker's behaviour is bad.

Good location and good views. Moreover the staff were good and responding well. Very close to the town is an advantage
