Vythiri Mist Resort

First of all to begin with, if you are looking to book a resort Vythiri Mist Resort in wayanad, you first need to decide if you want a forest stay experience or a normal one. If your choice is forest like stay then please remember accessibility to most of these forest resorts across wayanad are not great for obvious reasons forest area so don't expect great roads or sometimes even no roads they are mostly in remote locations so getting there and leaving should ideally be a one time business. So if you plan to roam around and visit places sight seeing instead of spending time in the resort then please look for Vythiri Mist Resorts in the town area itself where accessibility is better good. You can easily step in out whenever you please this way. Coming to this resort, i realised the accessibility is better compared to other forest resorts in vythiri. So no complains. However the last 100 meters of the approach road should be made. This is an off road experience literally now and risk damage to your vehicle if not an SUV. There should be a TV in the rooms. They say it's part of the experience no TV concept but it's gets really boring in the room without one. I don't see any harm in keeping one. They should leave it to the guest to decide. Food and service was good. I would say their service is the highlight it's excellent and guest focused as it should be. Also being amidst a full forest, they need to make sure the rooms are completely sealed to prevent insects bugs from entering the room at night. This is an issue now if your light is switched on. Yes, you will have insects crawling on your bed sometimes. Having said that, would also make sense to provide open able windows with mesh of course in the room. Can get warm sometimes and you need ventilation since there is no a cc. Currently all windows in the room are sealed. Lastly, there is a small courtyard in the room with glass ceiling. This lets in ample light during the day which is fine but if you want to take a nap during noon time, you won't be able to since the room will be lit with sunlight. Also this space is useless at the moment with just a plant in a pot. If the management can address these issues then I guess it would be a perfect place for some time away from busy city life and to escape into nature.
There was no TV in the room. Gets very boring in the room. So you are forced to step out. Also, given that this resort is amidst forest, there were insects inside the room and bathroom at night. This caused some discomfort. The last 100 metres of the approach road to the resort is full of boulders and rocks. There is no road. Tad inconvenient because of this.

My stay at vythiri mist resort was an absolute delight! the service provided was exceptional - the staff were prompt, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. The resort's location within the jungle offered a truly refreshing environment, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The variety in breakfast offerings, catering to both south indian and north indian cuisines, was a nice touch. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. Although there was an initial issue with my room, arun and her manager swiftly and efficiently resolved it, demonstrating their dedication to guest satisfaction. Overall, i highly recommend vythiri mist resort to anyone seeking a memorable and rejuvenating stay. The serene surroundings, coupled with excellent service and cleanliness, made my experience truly remarkable.

I cannot express in words how much beautiful the resort is, i enjoyed each and every moment, before visiting the resort i was hesitant how it will be but when me and my family reached there wow wow wow. What a place it was i would want to visit it again and again. From food to rooms to clean bathrooms and near by water fall, streams, safari everything was mind-blowing good. Staff was very smiling and helpful all the time. Just 2 improvements they need to do:1. That they should have more stuff for little children within 10 year old, there were just 2 playing equipment for kids. 2. The road to resort for at least 5 minutes is bad if it can be repaired during rain kind of tricky to drive by rest all is awesome n good

If your looking for a peaceful holiday to relax and have a good time then Vythiri Mist is the perfect place to be at. The location is beautiful, calm and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The restaurant is good with a beautiful view. The food they provide is very much homely style. They have a limited menu but they even customize the food as you like. There is a small area for kids, kids swimming pool and an infinity pool as well which is well maintained. Very courteous staff. We were really happy when they provided us an upgrade of our room to a villa. The villa was very good with a balcony and a lovely view. I am definitely going back again with a bunch of my friends. It was a pleasant stay for us.

We had booked presidential suite, it has amazing view from the room and living area balcony, the cleanliness is very good. The room balcony area needs to be closed, otherwise insects might come in. We had complimentary breakfast and dinner, food was delicious especially breakfast. The resort also had complimentary trek in the morning, we went to 2 different routes in 2 days and both were spectacular. There are other amenities like swimming pool (we couldn't use because of rains, badminton court, indoor games and spa. Housekeeping service can be improved, we needed bedroom slippers as the tile in the room floor gets very cold, but we didnt get them. Overall a very good luxurious stay.

“vythiri mist resort resort is truly a paradise on earth in gods own country” the front office were very welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing, they offer an open buffet for all meals, the classical music at dinner was also very good. Nothing better than this. Quality, service, attitude, food, location, room design are best of the best. Must to go kind of resort. There are enough activities for the kids to keep them occupied. Overall experience was beyond excellent, this is very rare to experience and has very sweet memory in our life! finally thanks to make my trip!

We got an upgrade from the Vythiri Mist Resort. Had booked a mist habitat but got a mist haven. The basic difference is that haven has a additional balcony and is more spacious. The resort is well placed. Has a nice view and in between the forest. So expect it to be a lot colder than usual. The staff are super friendly and are a great support. They are at your service as and when required. A few notes. The approach road is a bit bumpy and need to climb a hill. Food is a bit expensive but good a note to the management please improve the tea and coffee.

Overall it was a good getaway amid-st nature. The property was clean and well maintained and the staff was courteous. We also enjoyed the live music and the christmas carol. However the food was not upto our expectations and was a little overpriced. The road that leads to the property was very poorly maintained with huge rocks and gravels just a few metres leading to the property and it will take a toll on your vehicle. The pool was also closed because of government regulations

Hospitality provided is extra-ordinary. An unfortunate incident was carefully handled by the host causing a sense of security to guest. But really missed to enjoy the whole stay due to rain. The food and service provided in restaurant was awesome. Each employee of the Vythiri Mist Resort is contributing to please the guest. Overall the stay at Vythiri Mist is awesome. Planned to visit in ensuing summer. Thanks to the General Manager to extend his support beyond limits.

Good welcome, awesome luggage service, good stay, cleanliness is okay, excellent breakfast, waiting is more for hot water -stuck in shower for hot water and ended up taking normal water bath, they should improve geyser capacity for hot water for family rooms.

From the time we reached the resort, the environment, ambience, cordial staff, great food, fascinating cottages - everything was as we were expecting. In fact the experience was more than my expectations.

I booked a 2 bedroom villa and it was an amazing experinece and we enjoyed a lot. Normally we all getting a good rooms and everyone is tensed with food and we also worried for what kind of food will get but in #mytrimistresort you all will get an amazing dinner and breakfast i dont know about lunch because i didnt had from there
