Vythiri Village

I can just say that the best part of my wayanad/vythiri trip was choosing to stay in "vythiri village resort. It was a beautiful resort with lush green environment, big property with a hanging bridge, 2 well maintained swimming pools - an infinity pool and a normal pool, archery, zip line, kids play area and many more. The best part was the artificial water falls which looks really natural. They also provide vehicle drop facilities to access these amenities. There were many accommodation options like pool villa, jacuzzi villa etc, we stayed in a standard ac room and found it worth compared to the price in similar such properties. Room facilities were all good, ac and fan along with 43' tv. The staff were all very friendly. Food was little expensive considering luxury property, but the quality and taste of food was really good. There was also live music as it was a weekend and it was very much enjoyable. Complimentary breakfast had a wide spread options and everything was really good. Also the property is very close to all the tourism places. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I was quite surprised with the negative comments after i visited the property. The only thing i could complain about was the kids play area where few slides were not in a very good condition, but that is usually expected. I would definitely recommend this resort.

As the name indicates it is vythiri village, it is indeed a village a very big resort. We 2 and our 2 daughters enjoyed the infinity pool and the other pool. Both are decent and big. There is a fish spa you can avail for 200 bugs per person. Spa and ayurvedic treatment is also available with price starting 1250 per person. There is a small zip line which my elder one enjoyed the ride is 415 inclusive tax for may be 3 to 4 mins. The restaurant for lunch has a decent spread and was charged 900 plus taxes. Breakfast place was much bigger and had a decent spread. The hanging bridge was awesome. Artificial water fall was good. The room was decent, the only issue we felt was the journey to the room in van, as it was very far from the reception and the indoor games archery, cycling. We felt it was a little higher priced because we had to pay additional amount for zip line for fish spa, that should have been included into the package. The entire trip costed us 20k from bangalore in 4 wheeler. We started at night 3. 30am reached vythiri by 8 9 am went to pokade lake as the Vythiri Village check in time was 2 pm. Reached Vythiri Village by 12. 30 pm got early check in on saturday and departed at 12 on sun-day and reached bangalore by 8 pm.

Wonderful ambience and extremely well maintained facilities. The nature reminded me of the botanical gardens in singapore and thick rain forest videos, kudos to the team for maintaining the facility. One aspect of improvement is the pool area, there are lots of broken wooden floor which may hurt your foot, i had it in mine. But given the hospitality we had this is negligible. One more aspect - valet parking, for a 5 star resort i would want to drive and leave the car to the driver, not that i drive to a parking and then come back walking, likewise while leaving we had to keep the luggage’s and then walk to fetch the car and load, i know we are all spoiled for luxuries, but when paying for it i’d rather enjoy it fully, but this is negligible compared to the wonderful spa and ayurvedic massage i had - all mistakes forgiven definitely a plan for a longer stay in on the cards for us.

Hotel stay was actually nice. But have a concern regarding make my trip customer service. I have booked the Vythiri Village stay for wrong dates. Regarding the issue i couldn't find any options to change or edit the dates. So i have contacted the mm t customer service to let them know the issue. But they tried contacting the Vythiri Village and told me nk response form the Vythiri Village and they had mail regarding the issue to the Vythiri Village and they will revert back once the Vythiri Village responded. But till now i have not received any kind of revert from mm t side. The other story is i have called and talk to the Vythiri Village regarding the check in and check out date issue. They have responded to me and solved it. This is to let the mm t employees know that i have not received any kind of services from your side but from the Vythiri Village side by myself.

Stay was great. Breakfast menu is limited, repetitive and taste was just okay. Staff is too friendly and helpful. Live music every evening from 7.30 to 10. Instrumental on thursday was great. Orchestra was decent but too loud, can't place orders in restaurant due to loud music. Loud music is even heard to the rooms with windows doors and curtains shut. It gets annoying because of loudness. Instrumental (violin) was amazing and we missed it on other 3 days of our stay. Limited menu but the food is good for al a carte, break fast buffet can be improved. Wide area of the property allows you to spend time in the resort, they have hanging bridge, artificial waterfall, activities, indoor games inside the resort

It was a pleasant stay amid-st the beauty of nature. The resort has many amenities which are included in your package and few amenities like ayurvedic spa, fish pedicure and zip-line which can be availed on extra payment. The view from the room was amazing; who won't love a morning view of misty mountains. They had local bands performing on most of the days during dinner. Food options were good too. One thing that could improve is the little lousy housekeeping. It takes a very long time to get things from housekeeping. The welcome staff are very friendly and always smiling. Overall a great experience.

The property is huge, it has its own artificial waterfall which starts at 5pm n ends on 6pm. Has a hanging bridge along with multiple paid activities like archery, zipline, cycling etc. Inside they have shuttle service which u can book from your room to transit within the resort. Food quality is good. One thing they can improve is train restaurant stuff, they are not properly trained and are not much aware of the food present on the menu. Buffets the best option as it takes time to prepare ala carte menu. Overall its a good experience one of the best property in kalpata side of wayanad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at vythiri village. It was our first trip with our son and the resort did everything possible to ensure we were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner is at their restaurant which i felt was a bit overpriced but food was of excellent quality. We were given a nice room in their new building (it looked new) with a view of the swimming pool. Our 11 month old enjoyed the frequent visits from the tribe of monkeys and the swim in the infinity pool. Special mention to rich u and abhijith who was always available whenever we had a request or help.

The campus and location is good. Staff is very friendly. But the standard rooms as per the price were not even closer to 4 star Vythiri Villages, it’s typical 2 or 3 star Vythiri Village rooms, with basic amenities. Dinner was not like actual 5 star buffet. Overall campus is good to chill around for 1-2 days in case you are getting the deal around 3-4k. I would say amenities wise this is 3 or 4 star, campus wise 5 star.

The resort was very neatly maintained. The food is very good. The staffs are very comparative overall nice experience

We were three families stayed at vythiri village cottage which was indeed super luxury stay with mouth smacking delicacies. A lot of activities we planned in there. The young staffs are so admirable and helpful to make our stay absolutely stunning.

Room was spacious & neat. But restroom shower pipe was not working properly. It's getting stuck bw shower & pipe water. Other than that it was very good. Overall a very good experience.

The Vythiri Village, the food everything was good even they had enough amenities for people to enjoy for one day in the resort. Nice resort looking for another stay here

The location, amenities and activities are all good. The price of food is very costly. The rooms were neat and clean. Room service people are very cooperative and promptly responded to our requests. Altogether it was a nice experience staying there. The artificial waterfalls was the highlight of this resort. Suggesting to increase the time duration to at least 2 hours from 1 hour.
