The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the wildlife safari in nagarhole national park, arranged by the resort. Our knowledgeable guide took us on an unforgettable journey through the park, where we were fortunate enough to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, deer, and even a majestic tiger. It was a truly exhilarating experience that we will cherish for a lifetime. Overall, our stay at water-woods resort was a perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and natural beauty. We visited this property to celebrate my birthday with my family and it was such a pleasant surprise. The property is soo beautiful and located in a serene place. The views from property are spectacular and the property itself is very nice and well maintained. The food quality was amazing and every meal was outstanding. The staff was very courteous and were attending to our requests diligently and with so much care. Even made a birthday cake for us at the last min request. My aged parents and my young kids were completely satisfied with the property and the facilities. The only let down was the swimming pool which could have been maintained better (walls were slimy and water was dirty). The property is conveniently located next to the jungle lodges (about 5 min drive ) from where the land and boat safaris begin. Overall it was a great stay and we would like to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at water-woods lodge kabini. We were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. The room was very comfortable with balcony overlooking the kabini lake. The location is excellent. Car parking is available. The food was good but a bit spicy. They have a wonderful farm which they were kind enough to show us. The Waterwoods Lodges & Resorts makes arrangement for jungle safari. Provides transport to starting point which is adjacent. Also plays an informative documentary on nagarhole tiger reserve. They have a swimming pool too for those who like to enjoy in it. It is a good place to go for those looking to relax and take a break from their busy professional lives. Not too many other activities to fill the time though. Excellent location and courteous staff.

The Waterwoods Lodges & Resorts lacks in hospitality and staffs are not that friendly. I want for a family occasion, but they didn't do anything extra instead of requesting them, like arranging cakes or a dinner or some decorations to the room. Instead they wanted to charge extra for one 400 gms of cake, which I requested them to make. Don't recommend it much, as everyday paying that much is not worth and also they have buffet three times so limited food choices. But the food was healthy and good quality. The staff are local people so not that professional. The manager also didn't bother to talk or ask about the stay. We saw him one-day out of our 3 day stay and hospitality lacked big time. No activities are free or included. For everything you need to pay extra.

water wood lodges & resort are situated at bank of kabini back waters ! road from mysore to kabini via HD kote takes bit long since it's a single road.. but the place n resort is just awesome... staffs are very well mannered.. swimming pool is brilliant and good enough to spend some quality time..food is good but limited choices else I would have given 5 out of 5.. rooms are spacious and very neat. our room was very close to kabini water itself and had an awesome view.. overall place is very good as it includes jungle safari for close to 3 hours organized by govt itself .. der is specific timings for safari ..you can do boat safari as well... overall very pleasant stay ...

We had a great stay at waterwoods. The room, the dresser and bathroom are huge. The room has a beautiful view of the kabini river. The meal options are a bit limited, but the food and service were top notch. We really liked the veg and non-veg food here. They organized a jeep safari for us (chargeable. Other options are van and boat safaris. The safari was 3 hours long, the forest rangers were patient and we saw a tiger, numerous elephants and deer up close. The property has a swimming pool, indoor games, a swing, activities like kayaking, boat ride, boon fire all inclusive. All in all, it was a very peaceful stay, away from the city madness, with nature all around.

This place is beautiful, very well maintained and have a very scenic view with Kabini river visible from your balcony. Initially we planned our stay for 2 nights but after going there and because of the courteous staff, good food and peaceful environment, we extended our stay by a day. They have some good activities like jungle safari(where chances of spotting a tiger are more than Bandipur), boat ride, kayaking and indoor games. Spread of breakfast, lunch and dinner is not as grand as 5 star Waterwoods Lodges & Resortss and resorts but is sufficient and tasty. Rooms are big and sufficient for a small family of 3. Staff is very helpful, courteous and joyous.

we were looking for a refreshing outing for us and the resort was booked just 1 day before (Lucky we) food was good. On service front one of the staff by name Ravi, he was taking care good of us Safari was ultimate and all wild animals we ticked except tiger and leopard at least 40+ elephants, countless deers and sambar, many many wild boars giant croc, otters, many many birds, peacock, bison, jackal. It's April hot and there were some green grass on the banks of Kabini which made most wild to be at banks. On boat Safari it was easy to get closer without disturbing the wild. It's a small resort with 15 rooms. Location is nice, food spread (buffet) is average, compared to the rate they charge. The rooms were clean but the linens looked very old and dull. Staff is helpful.

Staff were friendly and food was good

Stay was pleasant and relaxing. Dhanya who manages the property was enterprising and resourceful. Food was good and i will give a five star to their desserts. Wifi wasn't functioning. Restaurant area offers a panoramic view of the backwaters and one can enjoy the nice breeze in the evenings. In summer the backwaters recede hence there is ample opportunity to take a stroll, fly kites, do a bonfire near the backwaters.
Safety and hygiene measures were followed diligently

The stay was very well managed by the staff who were on point. Very nice architecture all around. Good views from the balcony. Amazing food. Worth every penny.

The Property is great with a beautiful riverside view. The food is good. The Washroom is great while the room feels good but a bit too expensive for the price. Opt for the Jungle Safari if you want to have realistic chance of catching hold of a tiger. Else you can opt for Boat Safari if you want a serene ride through the jungle which is majestic during sunset

The resort is beautifully located at backwaters. The staff is very helpful and responds very fast. I wish the resort is priced a little bit less.
