Tucked deep in the Western Ghats, Wayanad Wild CGH Earth is truly mesmerizing—a peaceful retreat surrounded by pristine rainforest. The moment you arrive, serenity takes over. The staff are exceptional: warm smiles, courteous service, and always ready to guide or assist. They make every guest feel valued and at ease. Activities are thoughtfully designed. The afternoon nature walk was immersive—spotting wildlife, learning about rare plants, and breathing in the forest air. The night walk was unforgettable. Food is a delight—fresh, flavorful Kerala cuisine made with local ingredients. From the exciting jeep ride up the off-road path to the convenient buggies within the property, every detail is seamless. Undoubtedly one of the best places I’ve ever visited. Pure rejuvenation

The food was amazing. I think this is because of an legacy chef who has been with them for a long time. I think it is close to 44 years. He prepares and has amazing delicious which you will always remember which is very soft, beautiful and nice on the palate.

The resort offered what is described the best .. Wayanad wild … in the nature and surrounded by it … the food spread could have been little more “naadan”(Local) that would have aptly described the resorts identity … overall it was a pleasant stay and the staff were amazing … kudos to the team of CGH Earth and especially the staff at Wayanad Wild

Excellent staff - Great Food - But know what you are getting into

The staff was excellent, the food was delicious, and the rooms were neat and very comfortable. However, there are a few unique aspects of this stay that guests should know in advance, as they could cause some inconvenience. There’s no AC or TV in the rooms, which might feel uncomfortable in warmer weather or if you prefer in-room entertainment. The buffet food is tasty but offers limited variety. If your cottage is located on the higher levels, you’ll need to call for the buggy service each time you want to visit the restaurant or join resort activities, which can be a bit time-consuming. The resort itself is a 20-minute jeep ride from the main access point. You must inform the staff at least 30 minutes in advance to schedule a jeep, and the last booking back to the rooms is at 5:30 PM — meaning you can’t go out or return freely after that time. These aren’t necessarily negatives, but they are important things to be aware of so you can plan your stay accordingly.

The property is surrounded by lush forest, so the natural setting was refreshing, but that also means occasional encounters with leeches, which is to be expected in such an environment.Rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the food was tasty with a good selection available each day. Activities like guided walks were nicely organized, ideal for relaxation and leisure. Would suggest providing some guidance or kits regarding leeches, given the property's location. Truly magical experience

Wayanad Wild is a stunning property, nestled right in the heart of the rainforest. It was a magical experience to sit on the balcony and soak in the sights and sounds of nature — the forest breeze, birds, and night calls created an unforgettable atmosphere. The resort offers plenty of activities; we especially enjoyed the night walk with the naturalist, while the kids had a great time on the creek walk. The staff are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Dinner was excellent, and every dish we tried was delicious. The only area for improvement would be breakfast — the dosas weren’t quite up to the mark, and a bit more variety would make the mornings even better.

It ws just excellent. Staff was so good and treated like family. Food was very good and lot of variety. Naturalist team just stands out amazing with all the details shared and wonderful treks. Kids enjoyed thw stay too and all the treks. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back

Hello,we loved the property and the location very much. The food was good 👍 😋 but l think there should be more vegetarian options (especially deserts). The forest and rooms were amazing 👏 . The room service or food service us also fast and good. The only thing to concern is the fear of too many leches in the property so they should provide a first aid kit or something to remove them from our bodies. Overall the resort is very good and l will rate it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars . Thanks 😊

What made this resort special for us was not so much the experience of staying in the middle of a rainforest but the absolutely stellar and amazing hospitality from the staff there. We can’t say enough good things about Sherwin, David, and Joyal. Sherwin and Joyal made our stay special and David is not only an expert on wildlife, he is an awesome host. Sherwin should get a gold medal on customer service, get promoted to GM, and we would love to see Joyal make progress in his career and shine, he is great.

Best trip ever. we were there for two days. give 5 star for experience 5 star hospitality 5 star for food. specially for people looking for out of the grid experience, deep inside the forest , it's just awesome. special thanks to Mr Sherwin , the manager in charge, thanks for the wonderful experience and hospitality you and your team have given . love to visit again soon. lot many activities like creek expedition for kids, plantation wall etc

The stay is in the forest, and the location is far away from nearby town. To go to resort, we need to take jeep for 4km, which is offroad. the food and stay is awesome. local cuisine is tasty and will like the food the most. they have two nature walk - bird watching and evening walk. both are super and can have a forest feel. during my stay, it was raining non-stop and could feel the rain forest. leeches are every were in and around resort, need to be cautious
