Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace

The property is beautiful. Spread across acres of land the place is a true palatial Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace. The suites are tastefully furnished with vintage furniture. The galleries are decorated with paintings and photographs of ancient times. The best place in the Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace is the ball room which is used as a dining area now. It truly gives you the feeling of staying like a royal. The food was good and the service was good. The staff was courteous. The lawns are huge and beautiful. The kids play area could be maintained better. Would recommend it for a family vacation and if you want some peaceful time away from the crowd in the city.

Had a 2 day stay with family in the grand property. They were kind enough to upgrade our normal suite to a luxury one as it was available. The rooms, and rest of the property is well made and each corner will give you a royal feel. But lacks amenities you would expect in a luxury property (restricted dinner timings, exorbitant charges for small add ons like bonfire etc. The staff was helpful overall. The food was good. Restaurant was expensive but you have the option of getting food delivered through swiggy, so that's a plus. Stay here if you want to spend time with friends / family in a serene property with lush green lawns, away from city noise.

This is one of the only times when a photo on the Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace's website has not been as good as the resort itself. The palace is one of the most beautiful resorts in the world. A must visit for everyone who wants to know how the Rajas lived. The food and drink service could have been better. We found that we had to repeat orders many times and food was average at best. But the grounds, the room and the experience overall were absolutely amazing. Spotting a herd of bison 20 feet away from us was the icing on the cake!

The Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace is good but not great. The most bothersome was the room heating. The central heating system does not work. They provided us with two heaters and we could only use one otherwise the power tripped. One was not sufficient to heat the room at all . Food is barely average. Service was excellent, staff was excellent and they went out of their way to service you. Because it has very few rooms (19) the place always looked barren.

The location is wonderful - picturesque, quiet and serene. From the moment you enter the driveway, you get a feeling of being royal. The check in and check out experience was great. The property is well maintained. The staff is very courteous. Food is absolutely great. The Maharani suite was an out of the world experience. The palace has vast grounds to take quiet, undisturbed long walks amidst nature. It was a truly exhilarating experience.

A very Delight stay with a feel of royal touch.Hotel is in excellent location and a palace converted to Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace gives a true feeling of kings era.Rooms are cosy and very royal touch with old Classic wooden beds and almira's.Food is also good and specially ethnic north india cuisine.Bar is lousie and can be made better for refine the experience further.I enjoyed staying here for 2 days with family and friends.

The experience was majestic, excellent ambience, not much of vegetarian option but the food is good. Loved the magical silence, place was very calm and grand, must visit place for couples. Good hospitality, chef personally came and ask for the choice of food if we want to order something which is not there in menu card they can prepare for us. Rooms could have been more clean but overall experience was awesome.

The Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace has been converted from a palace. Our stay was enjoyable. Rooms are clean and room service is good. Management need to take steps to increase the occupancy. Overall one of best Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace of Ooty. If occupancy is increased then in-house dining can also be improved. We were upgraded to a royal suite without any extra cost.

We stay with family with secure good climate and good atmosphere you can select this.

We stayed in this property earlier and it never disappoints us, our gives a feeling that you are staying in the palace. Food quality can be slightly improved.

Located at the best location in ooty. Town and most of the tourist place are nearby. Spend one day in luxury suit and stayed most of the time in the palace enjoying its royal beauty. Horse ride arranged by the Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace was an add on. Great food, friendly staff, good stay.

This Welcomheritage Fernhills Royal Palace is converted from an old palace which was used by the royal family members of mysore kingdom. The place today also has a royal feeling. Had a nice experience.

Rooms are good. Though old it's maintained. WiFi available only in the common area. Location is good. But difficult to find at night without gps. Surroundings could be better maintained. Especially the night lamps in the walk way from the main gate to reception could be repaired. Not a value for money kind. But a good one time experience.

Property location is very good. The staff is friendly. Enjoyed a comfortable stay. Will visit again.

The property oozes royalty at its best, the estate in itself is well maintained and the staff are very polite and courteous

This property must be visited once as it takes us back to the maharaja days of colonial indie and true architecture of ancient indie is visible
