While dining at the restaurant, you and your colleagues had personally appreciated the food multiple times—both to our service team and to the chef who interacted with you at your table. At no point during your meals did you raise any concerns, and our team regularly checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory. We would also like to clarify that your booking was on a MAP (Modified American Plan) basis, which includes a fixed menu dinner. Starters are not part of the MAP inclusions. Even then, our team did their best to accommodate your preferences within the set meal offering. Your comments regarding food hygiene, freshness, and service are inconsistent with your in-person feedback, and we would have gladly addressed any issue had it been brought to our attention during your stay. Regarding the swimming pool, it is a heritage-style plunge pool designed for relaxation within the architectural constraints of the 325-year-old palace. We’ve noted your suggestion for future improvements. We also attempted to reach you for further clarity on your feedback, but unfortunately, your phone remained unreachable. Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to learn that your experience at WelcomHeritage Ramgarh did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify certain points from our side to present a balanced perspective. During your stay, our records show that on Day 1, food was ordered by you through an external delivery service (Swiggy/Zomato). As per hotel policy, and in the interest of guest security, our team requested that you collect the order at the reception and make payment directly. However, you insisted that the delivery personnel be allowed to deliver the food to your room, which is not permissible for safety reasons. On Day 2, you ordered a non-vegetarian platter through in-room dining. Following your feedback, our Executive Chef personally checked the dish and found it to be freshly prepared and up to standard. Despite this, and as a gesture of goodwill, our F&B team did not charge you for the platter. You also raised concerns about the windows being sealed in the room. Please note that windows are secured deliberately for guest safety due to occasional wildlife presence in the area. In particular, monkeys can be unpredictable, and as a preventive measure, we have installed electric fencing across the property. However, despite our efforts, they sometimes find a way in, and we are continuously working on further enhancing our control mechanisms. Regarding the swimming pool, it is maintained under strict hygiene and cleaning protocols. On the subject of medical assistance, as per government regulations, we are not authorized to provide medication such as painkillers or saridon. However, a fully stocked first-aid kit is available, and we can assist in connecting guests with medical professionals when needed. It was also reported by our team that you were verbally aggressive and made repeated demands for exclusive butler service and special discounts. Despite this, our front office team offered you a complimentary upgrade from your originally booked base-category room. We appreciate your feedback and understand that expectations can vary. At the same time, we stand by our team’s efforts and the protocols we follow in the interest of safety, hospitality, and guest experience.
