Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule

Booked the Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule for 4 days. It was previously known as abhishek resort. So tell the rickshaw fellow accordingly. The rickshaw fellow may charge you 600/700 from ratnagiri station the Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule has a very beautiful view of the sea from its restaurant (waterfront cafe) and villa rooms. The other room which are situated at second floor height will have the same view. It has a feeling of tranquility. It is so peaceful and calm that you will just love the feeling the Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule interiors is very beautiful. It looks much beautiful when it is lit up at night. It has 20 parking slots at the entrance and you can also park near your rooms. It has electric charging points the restaurant (waterfront cafe) is a bit expensive. It has terrace dining and dining inside. The interiors of the Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule both inside and terrace is very beautiful. It has a bar below where alcohol is 50% cheaper. In the restaurant, you have peg system for whiskey/rum/vodka while in the bar you get quarter. If you want to drink in the room i suggest you to take it from the bar rather than ordering from the restaurant (as you would save 50) on your expense. The food is the restaurant has big portions. If you are someone who eats light portions then one dish can be sufficient for two or three. You can read my review for the restaurant in google for waterfront cafe) i book a villa room and it had a good balcony. It has good sea view in the bathroom, it has a hair dryer. They provided a small toothpaste along-with brush everyday. It has a medium sized swimming pool. They only allow nylon clothes. Men can go shirtless in the pool. One of the unique things i notice here, they provide you with a towel at the swimming pool. The prices are little high as compared to other Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule. In comparison to mtdc, the price may be 60 to 70 percent higher. But in terms of luxury or premium stay i will rate it 5/5 and you will enjoy the stay here special thanks to siddhika, naina, nihal at the reception. This property (previously known as abhishek Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule) was an excellent property to stay in at ganpatiphule. The location and sea view from the rooms are spectacular. The access to the beach is easy, just a short walk down to the main road (and across it) and some steps to the beach. The room we stayed in was a deluxe ac room in villa and it was perfect for 2 people in my opinion. We had booked for three and were allowed this room but honestly that was slightly cramped (200 sq ft) although they gave a good spring mattress bed for the extra person so that was a big plus and the ac worked well. The resort staff is very friendly with smiling faces at both the reception (i think the girl’s name was siddhika, sorry if i got it wrong) and the restaurant (vicky and sudhir were both very prompt, polite and helpful. The restaurant’s food was flavorful and well made. We had taken the option for breakfast included and it didn’t disappoint with a good spread. We enjoyed our trip and were very happy to learn it’s a pet friendly place and we look forward to coming back here with our dog sometime during the winter (as it was 40 degrees in mid may and quite hot outdoors. If you like space i would opt for the family suite option which is 400 sq ft if i’m not mistaken, especially if travel-ling with three people. The pool is huge but water look very slightly murky so we didn’t take a dip but look forward to do that on the next trip.

Stayed with family at west-bay resort, ganapatipule in jun e 2024. Our rooms were quite pleasant and decently furnished with excellent sea views. Staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. Food at the only restaurant is also satisfactory though the breakfast spread isn’t too great. The location of the resort is great, a lovely beach is there bang in front of the property just across the road. The resort also has a marvelous infinity pool. All basic options expected in a resort of this kind - spa, kids’ play area, gym, indoor sports room - are available. The resort is quite close to the famous ganesh temple and other nearby places of tourist interest such as pracheen konkan museum and magic garden. One downside of the place is that it is not senior citizen friendly; mobility of my aged parents around the property was a big issue. All things considered, this resort is easily among the best options available in ganapatipule. Not too fancy, but excellent value for money.

When i was planning to visit ganpatiphule i was looking for a very relaxing short trip. And i was pleasantly surprised by westbay spa and resort. The rooms were big in the villa and the stay was very comfortable. The food was awesome especially breakfast was full of variety and everything tasted amazing. We even tried dinner during our stay all dishes were good and the service was especially good during the second day. The resort is maintained and they have separate space for bar where you can enjoy your drinks along with a game on tv. The view from the pool is breathtaking and a lifeguard is always present. And in the night you will hear nothing just the sound of waves crashing the shopre line. They also have electric charging station. A first for me in a resort in konkan coast. The place also has well maintained game room and gym. The resort was very close to the temple hardly 5 min drive, you can reach the temple from the westbay beach as well with a 10-15min walk.

Hotel is well maintained and clean. Staff is responsive and helpful. What we loved about the property is the location, facilities and food. It's perfectly located near the temple. There is a staircase just outside the property which takes you down the cliff to the beach. Once on the beach temple is walking distance no need to take your car. Hotel offers really good food across range and is reasonable price. Property loads of recreational facilities board games room, kids pool, big pool, gym, tt & snooker table as well. We didn't use their spa facilities. Only down side was lack was mobile network, room has wifi but it's patchy and cannot wfh here. Would highly recommend it for ganpati pule.

It was a family trip of four of us. Overall we had a wonderful stay. However few things need improvements. Extra towel for extra person is not sent by default, you have to ask for it every day. The family suite could have a larger lcd screen. Hotel did not include the 2nd extra person in the bill, instead i got a call few days after returning back, to make the balance payment. This is bit unprofessional. Moreover, no extra water bottle was provided for the 2nd extra person. Restaurant serves good food, however this time we has slightly bad experience. The food takes too long time to come. Some dishes were too spicy. Overall very nice and clean property, we will recommend this to everyone.

Our stay in this resort was good. First of all the location is excellent. Very near to Ganesh Temple and beach. Food taste, quality and quantity is good but the rates are on higher side for some items. Staff is courteous. Very good maintained campus. Lot of good places to click pictures. Good playarea and game zone for kids and adults. Good swiming pool(Dont forget to carry swiming costume. They rent costumes too so no big problem).Rooms are clean but faced some issues with AC water dripping all the night which we informed. I hope it is resolved now. Westbay resort is one of the best resort in ganpati pule. Nice location, best food and good staff. Sea facing rooms are just wonderful. Well maintained pool and surrounding area. Lots of greenery around the resort. Private beach but you need to climb down considerably and similarly climb up while returning. Room location are at higher elevation which may cause problems to elderly people. Phone network generally is down which is common all over ratnagiri. Nearby to ganpati temple but no local transport available except auto rickshaw with whom resort has tie up. Auto fare are quite high. Overall excellent stay at westbay. Highly recommended.

Even though the beach is far from the property, you get the sea view from your balcony. The food and service was awesome but they keep you waiting for an hour to serve tea and breakfast in the room. The breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of food items in the breakfast. Overall the trip to ganapatipule was memorable due to this stay at westbay.

The stay was comfortable and we all enjoyed the facilities such as gym, kids games and pool. I think this facility is centrally located and close to beach as well as ganpatiphule temple.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast spread is amazing. The location is wonderful, the view of the sea shore from the balcony is fab (if you take sea facing room. Overall great time and great service

• We booked Dec/29th at Westbay Resort & Spa (Ganpatipule). • Our room had partial sea view, which was good. Room was spacious, Bed, sofa, bathroom, sit-out were good. Behind the property is a hill which is a nice location. • Property has swimming pool and club house for children to play. Westbay Resort has good elevation, nice garden, lighting to take nice pictures. • Restaurant is good. Because of the crowd, it took a while to get our order. Restaurant had complimentary breakfast. • Just by crossing the road, you get access to Ganpatipule BEACH! It is like a private beach for your family. • Overall memorable experience.

Absolutely amazing stay. Location of the resort is just out of the world. I stayed for 2 nights in superior suite which had unrestricted sea view with massive round bed and a huge outdoor sit out. Definitely going to come back again. Food quality also was superb. Breakfast menu was countless options. We booked for 2 days stay at westbay resort. Overall its was a very pleasant stay. The property is good with ample of parking. Nice rooms though i felt they need to work on their room service. Restaurant is good and the staff is warm however their service is too slow. Most of the guests used to wait for their food to arrive. They really need to work on their service timing. Pool is good and the game zone is really good.

Location is fantastic sea facing rooms you can sit in balcony and enjoy the sea view Westbay Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule landscape is also very good

We planned for a 5 day stay to coincide with my daughter’s 4th birthday and west-bay made the entire stay a really memorable one. The rooms and amenities were excellent and super clean. The food was fantastic all throughout and the staff are the most amazing people you’ll interact with.

Property location is really good, amazing views of the sea. Good amenities, spa options available. Rooms are decent as well, found bit small though. Restaurant food is also good. Overall a good experience
