If location was everything, Western Ghats Holiday Homes would score full marks—it’s set in a good spot and the service staff were polite and helpful. But sadly, the stay itself was far from picture-perfect. What we saw and what we got were worlds apart; let’s just say the "3-star" tag felt more like a "falling star."The 2BHK apartment, looked nothing like the photos. The rooms were far too old, with hardly any of the basic amenities you’d expect. We were given a ground floor unit with poor ventilation, which made the place feel more like a closed box than a holiday home. To make it dimmer, half the lights didn’t work—talk about being kept in the dark!The bathrooms were the real "smell shockers," carrying an odd, unpleasant odor, with one washroom missing an exhaust fan entirely. With that kind of setup, fresh air had clearly taken a holiday of its own.Yes, the location was good, and yes, the staff were courteous—but a peaceful or refreshing stay? Nowhere on the horizon. For the price we paid, the experience was light years away from what was promised. I personally wouldn’t recommend booking here if you’re looking to truly relax.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Western Ghat Holiday Homes, Mahesh was very co-operative, the food was delicious prepared & served by the delightful Bashir & team. We would recommend this place to everyone visiting Wayanad!

One of the worst hotel i have stayed. Rooms are nothing like the photos. Pathetic room, unclean wardrobe, unclean bedsheets & towels. I didnt raise these concerns because i booked for an ac room and they provided me a non ac room. When i asked for a change, they mentioned it is the last room they have. I couldnt do anything because it was around 1 am. Never book this hotel if you are staying in kalpetta. Please book mazarin hotel which is in main road with a good restaurant.

The staff were not welcoming, instead rude they mentioned unmarried couples are allowed but they informed that it cant be allowed in both are from different religion! on what basis they are judging people on the basis of religion? who is deciding who are staying together? customers or hotel management? i thought india is a secular country and mangalore is still in india! rubbish people!

The stay was comfortable, the host even upgraded the stay for us. The caretaker's warmth and food quality is worth mentioning!

I stayed with my family. It was awesome experience safe stay. Specially owner mr niyaz is very simple and helpful.

Very bad welcome. Not allocated room as per your recommendation. They are giving least priority to booking. They gave all good room to direct booking. Due to arguments with management, they were given a bad room, I was bound to agree for the same, because I am with family, don't have an alternative choice

Reserved for a good room with a balcony. I have reached the hotel by 2. 15 pm. Hope i am the first guest. But they refused to give room with a balcony. They have given a small room without a balcony. Due to the argument with the receptionist, they have given a room with small shared balcony. Due this issue, totally spoiled the mood of this trip

It was a great stay with nice view. Mahesh babu accommodated with good room and was available for anything. Overall it was a good stay

Great location, excellent breakfast, food and service. Very polite behavior of the staff.

Horrible stay. The walls of the rooms had a fungus on it. No proper kitchen to cook inspite of them telling us we can have a common kitchen. The swimming pool was filled with dirty muddy water which will lead to malaria. The room was not ready for check-in till 1:00. Badly maintained and worst experience. It was not worth the money i paid.

First time we booked couple room in western ghats holiday homes which was very well arranged with very good atmosphere and amenities.. The service was very good and friendly manner.. We very are happy and satisfied with all.. Will come again and explore

Had a pleasant stay at western ghat. Mr. Niyas was so helpful in suggesting places around wayanad, took care of all of our needs during our stay. Will stay again if visiting as family.

I will recommend 100% for the stay in western ghats holiday homes, bcz the room with balcony i took and that was awesome and the owner of the resort was soo polite and calm and the resort was awesome look and have more different types of plants in the garden this was the best resort i ever seen😍
