Western Valley Resorts

Nice location, clean Western Valley Resorts and positive attitude of staffs. But little communication gap with staffs as very few speeks english, hindi or kannada. Also booking cab through Western Valley Resorts is risky( i booked a cab from Western Valley Resorts to bangalore but driver suddenly asked us to change the cab in between (mysore) without informing at the beginning and asked new driver to take the service road to save toll tax, which was already discussed initially, all amount was included in fixed price and everyone agreed. But in between driver changed the thing and new driver was taking service road to save the money, which was taking more time then again i paid extra amount of toll tax. Based on Western Valley Resorts confirmation we booked the cab but we were not prepared for such things. Hotel people need to look into this if they are providing cab facilities. Apart from this everything was good and we enjoyed our stay.

If you are planning for a peaceful stay away from the crowd and in the lap of nature, then this is the place for you. It's a bit far from ooty (around 12 km, but once you reach there, you will forget all the stress and tiresome journey from coimbatore airport. The premise, garden, rooms, bathrooms and complete place is very well maintained. The restaurant staff sudarshan, gunasekhar and balakrishna, the staff at the reception are very friendly, supportive and responsive. The breakfast was really good with variety of options each day. The taste of the food for lunch and dinner can be improved a bit. Overall its a wonderful experience staying at western valley resort. I will definitely stay at this place if i happen to visit ooty again. Highly recommended.

Awesome location and view from resort. Very decent stay, nice and clean rooms. We enjoyed lot for 2 days and single nite. It is 15km away from main ooty bus stand, but still it is not big deal because enroutes from bus stand to resort also has very nice views on the way so you can enjoy it as well. From avalanche main road to resort road is small and only one car can go at a single side and you will have 300m offroad till reosrt gate wich is not big deal as well my i20 crossed it safely. Only thing is complemetry breakfast menu can be better, don't expect to much. Also the play room, and play tools are not in good quality it is just fine. Also cycles are avalible and it is not in good conditions, you can just cycle.

It's a good resort located in a quiet and serene place. A bit away from the main city but i preferred it to be away from an otherwise highly commercial city. Needed extra 30 minutes to reach to the city but that's fine for me. I would recommend this place if you want to go there for spending some quality time with yourself and family, lazying around and no great plans to cover all places around. The food and service was good. I feel there is a need for some more helping hands at the restaurant as they have limited persons there. Food items are limited but good. Hope this place is maintained later the way it is now.

It is one of the best resort i had ever stay in my live. It is 13 km away from main city. The place is very calm, peaceful. You can enjoy every moment of the place. There are plenty of tea garden around the resort. If you want a really peaceful stay you can choose here. You don’t need to go for any sightseeing. You can enjoy the full day in the Western Valley Resorts looking the green beauty. Rooms are very bigs, washroom clean. Room service is very prompt. Staff will always greet u with smile. Food is good, decent, however they can enhance little bit menu item in breakfast. Will come here again.

We booked the stay during long weekend in ooty and was surprised to see the property. Greenery all around and the best part was calmness around, which is usually difficult to find in ooty. Service was awesome and breakfast had plenty of options. Rooms were clean and evening bonfire was the icing. We got the double room which had more than decent view with a cute balcony. But if you are booking in advance, try for the family room. One suggestion is please make tea and coffee available even after 7pm, as i felt it should have been there considering the lovely weather all around. Overall 5/5 stars.

Room provided was cypress. The heritage furnishings complemented the room decor. Room was amazing and so was the view. The panoramic windows on the east was really nice and we were able to get a good glimpse of the sunrise. Food was ok and the restaurant service was slightly on the slower side. Location was amazing and the resort is located on the way to avalanche and while the spot is away from the main towns din and bustle, the location is very close to the avalanche highway and the surrounding is amazing- enclosed by expansive tea gardens, hills and forest overall it was an amazing stay

You can the most wonderful view from here. The place is quiet far from the ooty but location and food both are excellent. Would like to visit again

Enjoyed the resort a lot. Room service is prompt and they catered to all our requests including baby food. Has excellent views and is 15 km away from ooty. They arranged cab for sight seeing in short notice. Cleanliness was on top and breakfast spread was limited but tasty. Worth recommending

The property is located at a distance of 16kms / half hr away from the ooty bus stand. For us ( family of 3) it was bliss since we were looking at a stay away from the hush rush. Food was average & the Western Valley Resorts may work on providing more variety in food options and quality. Basic hygiene standards were maintained.

Comfortable stay, very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was good, valley view from resort is amazing experience & will remain in memory whole life. Will stay again if i will in ooty. Cab arrangements for site seeing was also comfortable.

The location is scenic and beautiful to the core, it is surrounded by tea gardens and hills. It is around 12km from the main town, so it is quite serene. The food is freshly prepared, and the service is really good. Rooms are aesthetically maintained. All the staff serves with a smile. A gazebo and the lawns are perfect for a small celebration. The bonfire at night is an addition to your memorable experience. Overall lovely experience at the resort.
