Whispering Waters Resort And Spa

Whispering Waters is about 40 kilometers from Kochi, a 1-1.5 hours drive. If you are self-driving you will definitely need google maps to get to the place. Approximately 10 km of enroute road beyond kalady is potholed and some areas are under repairs, but the drive is manageable. The last 3-4 km of approach road to the resort is really narrow but there are very few vehicles on this road. There are no signboards (according to the staff it is as per government regulations against hoardings, so it is very easy to miss turns. Drive slowly and if in doubt ask passer-by often is the mantra. Once in the property, you would definitely forget the drive. The property is spacious, has an old-world charm, plenty of greenery, and has adequate parking space. The view in all directions is mesmerizing. The property is very well kept. I booked through mmt so they did not have our contact numbers. If you are not directly booking with the Whispering Waters Resort And Spa, it is a good idea to call the resort and inform them about your check-in time particularly if you wish food to be ready for you when you arrive. The staff was very cordial and responsive. Basic hygiene and masking were done by all the staff. Hand sanitizers are located at all strategic places. We booked two garden view rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. The periyar with the hills in the background looks grand and awesome. It rained an entire day. It is a good idea to carry your own umbrellas, as the common umbrellas tend to be carried off by other residents. The restaurant is glass-paneled all around and so you get a good view. There is also an outdoor dining area. The morning complimentary breakfast is hot and fresh with reasonable variety. The buffet dinner too was good. Try the butter chicken, if you order ala carte. The food has to be ordered in advance if one wants to avoid the waiting time. There is plenty of stuff to keep you occupied, a good well kept swimming pool (4 ft depth) table tennis, chess, cycling, volleyball court, bow and arrow with shooting board. Small kids park. Overall it is a great place to have a short vacation with your family. We would recommend whispering waters.

I had gone with my husband for a weekend getaway. I must say that Whispering Waters is really worth the money value. Great staff and extremely service oriented and courteous. Ashok, Abhilash, Noby, Shiji, were few with whom we really interacted more. We had a request for the room, which they made sure we get. Food is excellent, activities are nice. Simple, classy and elegant rooms and really great ambience. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful.

The staff is extremely friendly And helpful. The food was very nice as well. The only thing I would recommend is to have more local dishes available to guests. Coming to location, it is a bit difficult to get here so it would be helpful if the Resort put out signboards at critical junctions to assist the guests in finding the place. Overall, beautiful views, nice rooms And lovely experience.

Nice location, very calm... Good food.. Very good staff.. Lot of activities to do.. Neat and clean surroundings.. Well- maintained swimming pool and more surprisingly free from mosquitos. Only one small issue is exhaust fan complaint and bad smell from toilet wash basin.

Good stay in a remote location near to periyar

The place and ambience is such an amazing experience. Wispering resort is located at a river side so it makes meaning to its name. Nice view of the river is aura. Nice food! nice stay!
Must visit resort in a short word!

It was great experience staying there especially the staff were so friendly and helpful, very clean and sanitised rooms with great smell, excellent place to spend a day, evening and misty morning
