Whispering Willows | Rooms & Caretaker

We had a really good stay at Whispering Willows, Mudumalai. The place is difficult to locate on google map. If you are coming from Bandipur side, after crossing Mudumalai check post go straight 4 km and then take a right at Chikooz bakery. Keep going straight till you reach Ambala Moola Circle which has the beautiful St. Sebastian's church. We kept our vehicle about 0.5 from the church in a private property. From there we traveled in the 4 wheel drive jeep for about 1 km to reach our destination. The rooms were small in size but nice, clean and well maintained. We took superior rooms near the betel nut forest. We had requested for all meals and the food was delicious and had a good variety of non-veg and veg. The hospitality of the staff was great. Thanks to Mr. Suresh and all the staff for taking such good care of all guests. looking forward to visiting again. Room tip: if you have elderly family members request for a room near the dining area.

25 acre coffee plantation filled with pretty flowers and birds that sing all day. The staff is polite and friendly. Rooms are basic and there is no mobile connectivity, so if you want to get away from the city life, this is the place for you. Cons: 1. Last stretch of the access road is a mud road with bumps with a steep climb, i suggest to travel with a more powerful car with better ground clearance. Also, avoid this during the rainy season as this road would be almost impossible to drive on. 2. Rooms are basic, so if you are someone who likes luxurious amenities, this might not be the place for you. However, we enjoyed the simplicity.

Amazing food.. beautiful property.. we really had a fantastic time here. Team is super cool and polite. Washrooms and rooms are at most considering hygiene standards.. they had offered lovely handmade soap 😍 It’s 10/10 rating for us and for sure we gonna stay back again ! Thank you WW team !

The care taker was so good. Polite staff. Good ambience, enough facilities. Clean rooms, Tasty food. Best hospitality felt like we are in some relatives home, A home away from home.

It been a pleasant stay at ‘whispering willows’ which is amid nature’s lap. The staff been very helpful and cooperative and met the requirements with smiling faces. Good cuisine wherein they do accommodate the flexibility to make necessary changes at per taste buds. No thanks

I was stayed in Whispering Willows and the property was really good for couples. The owner and caretaker were helpful. The food was excellent. They just need to improve there room which was not sound proof. Overall this property was value for money.

Location is awesome, but the road is bad. When it is raining season, please do not come here No can service and no internet and no TV. The 10 kilometers interior from a tubular main road.

We travelled as A family, the room was very neat and the view from the room was really good. If you're looking for some solitude time, this is one of the best

The property has A beautiful view of the dense forest and the food they served was excellent.

The resort is really good and the host are very friendly. They were there for anything we needed and even arranged some local sightseeing trips for us.
