White House Houseboats

The owner mr. Ibrahim was kind enough to send his personnel mr. Ashraf to ghat no. 12 to pick up us. We checked into our room without any verification and documents. He took the order for 2 home made lunches. Rice was well cooked and soft. Dal and chicken curry were not spicy they were tasty and went well with chapatis and rice. After lunch we watched wimbledon tennis for some time. They served khava. Kashmiri special tea. We went to boulevard road using their small boat. We had our dinner in a White House Houseboats outside. Came back and sat in the front, looking at the dal lake with lights. We had a sound sleep. They served us a sumptuous bread toast, omelette with tea. We checked out 9 am. It was a memorable and enjoyable stay. There were no mosquitoes. There was no music and disturbance. There was hot water available 24x7.

we stayed as a couple at Whitehouse houseboat. on our arrival, we were welcomed by Kashmiri kawa. and greeted so well. we liked the hospitality and service of both owner and staff. though we booked a houseboat for 1 day. but we extended for another day as well. as we liked their service and hospitality. the owner and staff are friendly and won't misguide us in term of location wise.this houseboat is located very corner and has 3 side open view of lake.which most of the houseboat in dal lale doesnt provide.and last but most important , food quality, hygiene was maintained.

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful houseboat. The advantage is that its located on the corner side which is unique and gives you a whole view of the dal lake with mountains at the backdrop. Ibrahim bhai and ashraf bhai are very hospitable and gave us a warm welcome and made the stay very comfortable and convenient. He also supported in getting us cabs for pahalgam and hiring local shikara at affordable rates. Its definitely a place worth it and recommended for tourists looking at a comfortable stay, home made food and good view of lake while at a houseboat.

it was a fabulous experience and location of houseboat is excellent as there areso many eataries close by. To go from houseboat to street it just takes 3 mins of shikara ride so you can easily come and go to houseboat. Most amazing thing about this houseboat is view which is best among all the surrounding houseboats. Other house boat neighbors will feel jealous of you😉 because of view. you get window from which you can see the dal lake. There no obstruction to view.

The location was safe and peaceful. The room was neat and clean. The staff was helpful and polite. The service was quick. The only thing was not good is lunch, which they served. The stay was good and peaceful.

It was a trip with the family. The White House Houseboats's location was convenient. The area was safe and peaceful. Services were great. For food, I will give a rating of 3/5. The staff was polite and great. Overall, I liked the stay.

All great. It was enjoyable and homely. Mr ibrahim is a great host and we liked ashraf's quick servicing. Love you.
