White Woods Resort & Spa

It is one of the best properties in morjim. Lush green trees, clean and a big swimming pool. The villas here are big, clean and have all the amenities. Kudos to the staff, always generic, happy to help, quick, punctual, attentive. I must say that the resort has hired well educated and matured staff, who does the hospitality at the best. Special mention for mr. Sai and mr. Chandan, they will ensure your stay here is comfortable and if you need anything. Restaurant here makes tasty and delicious food. We ordered customized dal khichadi for our kid and it was a big hit. The kid really loved it. Buffet breakfast is superb and has a mixed combination of south and north indian food. This resort is nature friendly and they don’t use any plastic bottles for water, it will be refilled in a glass bottle. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was an amazing stay. The mornings here are so beautiful due to greenery, birds chirping and fresh air. Morjim and ashwem beach are at walking distance. You can call the reception and they can arrange a scooty/ cab with a very minimum price.

The approach road is a single lane and there is no place to even walk if there is a single vehicle passing through. The resort is very pretty and you would love taking pictures around. Morjhim beach is a 5 min walk from the resort. The amenities in the room and the premises as a whole were functional, although we did have a couple of instances of power cuts during the night. The housekeeping staff were very cordial and even helped us in the middle of the night for our needs. We had some run-ins with the person at the reception on a couple of days relating to having glass beer bottles near the pool. Rules stated no alcohol to be consumed near the pool, but we saw employees themselves serving cocktails to guests sitting by the pool and also other guests bringing their own beers cans to the pool. We did move the bottles away from the pool premises after being told so, but the way in which that particular employee spoke with guests left a sour taste in an otherwise pleasant stay.

Pros: 1. Very near to ashwem/morjim. Walk able distance. Road is not good for night though. 2. Good property. Has calmness and serenity. 3. Staff are really helpful and polite. Shout-out to the lady at reception who helped us with multiple things by going out of her way. Cons: 1. Too much of plants and greenery, prone to reptiles and insects. One night, rat entered our room and it took good half n hour of hard work by housekeeping staff to take it out. 2. Pool is not as shown. Due to the location (overlooking nearby resort, privacy is a concern. 3. Breakfast menu could be expanded.

I stayed here before and it was my 2nd time. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of property. Everything about the property was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Just loved the experience of staying in white wood resort . Rooms are so cosy , clean with all amenities . Best part is , its location . Just 100m from Ashvem beach also near to Morijim and mandrem beach of north Goa . The ambiance of this place so serene , calm . Food is also great . We have taken breakfast and lunch/ dinner option , food was delicious also they have variety . Pool was clean and well maintained. Overall it’s a great experience staying here . Will definitely comeback here if I visit north goa again in future …

We had a great stay at this property. The staff, especially the manager - chandan, did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. We reached early, so we were given the option to have breakfast and go to the pool while an early checkin was figured out. The staff cleaned the room quickly so we were able to checkin quickly. Room was very big, ac worked perfectly. And it's 100m from the beach! food options for breakfast could be improved, but overall a great experience.

I loved staying in the white woods. Check in was flawless, rooms were clean and the ac was already on when we went inside and it felt so great after experiencing the humidity outside. Bathroom, shower, bath accessories were good. Just one bit of constructive criticism i would like to add is pool timings at night should be till 10 pm at least. Breakfast was also good. Morjim beach is within walking distance of around 10 min. Staff was helpful and service was quick.

Nice and clean White Woods Resort & Spa, good breakfast option, well maintained cottages but unfortunately ac in our room was very noisy they were not able to fix it, did some workaround but still intermittent issue with ac.

Very good property, had a good time, staff was very courteous, polite and ready to help. We stayed in wooden cottages, which could have been cleaner. The breakfast was good but it can be better. Room service was excellent and the food was amazing, better than the restaurants nearby. Beach is within walking distance. Reception staff is also very helpful.

The location of the property is just 40 mins drive from mop a but is very far from dabolim. The rooms are spacious and overall property is well maintained. The food can be better but the service is very good and responsive. Beware of the taxi people whose number is at the reception. Especially chandrakant. I had a pleasant stay at the property with my family.

Overall a 4 star experience. Service was exceptional. Room was neat and tidy. People on the reception were friendly and informative. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement in terms of variety of items and food quality.
