Whoopers Hostel | Rooms & Dorms

Whoopers Hostel, Kasol is around 2-2.5 km away from main Kasol. The main hostel is a short walk from a Shani Mandir on the main road, it is difficult to carry trolley suitcases along that stretch, backpacks are ideal. But the walk to the hostel is beautiful, walking along and crossing the Parvati River. The hostel building is quite small, with some 3-4 rooms on the ground floor and an upper floor with a lounging area, games, tent area and bonfire. The main lounge area with the GoT concept is amazing and very photogenic. We stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm, the room was big, beds were fine, bathroom was clean, there was hot water, but our main issue was the tiled floor. Cold tiles in the winter was very difficult to live in. Heaters were available for extra charge. The hostel kitchen serves up some good food and great coffee! To sum up, it's a great place for backpackers and solo travellers, as it's easy to socialize and make friends there. Extra tip: Walk from the hostel to main Kasol town instead of taking a vehicle. The walk is fun and beautiful along the Parvati River.

When you enter into the hostel they have a big space for the outdoor play area where we can play badminton cricket and we can place our tents outside the hostel. This hostel is made on the theme of game of thrones which is quite nice. The food is very OK. And one can play the indoor games like table tennis, carrom and uno. They provide all of that. The drawback staying at Whoopers is they will play the music till 12 am or 1 am so if you are planning to go there be prepared to party all night even if you don't want to. This place is not for the people who are looking for sound sleep at 10 pm or 11 pm.

It has been an amazing experience, the staff and the people are very welcoming and nice! the view is really nice and you have a lot of different places nearby to visit and check out. You've got a game room with snooker table and tt table and lot of different games to keep you busy when the wheather is being not so nice to you and you cannot go out, at least you can have fun with your friends and people around with all the facilities that whoppers provide. All in all the experience was great, i would really like to visit again whenever i am back here!

I and my friend stayed at both whoopers katagla as well as tosh. Both the hostels are very clean and sanitary, and offer decent meals. The dorm is also well kept and the themes of both hostels are well thought and superbly executed. Managers ajay(katagla) and ankit (tosh) are super friendly and helpful and ensure that you have a comfortable & an enjoyable stay. The location of both hostels is amazing with katagla offering a riverside view and tosh offering a view of snow clad mountains.

The best part about whoopers hostel is the view it has and the common area is great to interact with fellow travellers. We had booked 2 rooms. While the rooms were cosy but the bedsheets and quilts were really dirty. The service of the staff was pretty slow and the food from kitchen also took long to be served. But, in-spite of little inconveniences, i would recommend this stay to travellers travel-ling solo or in groups due to its amazing location and view.

Amazing experience at staying this property, private room was too good and comfortable even in freezing cold. Staff behaviour was on point, really helpful and good vibe people. The manager helped us in lot of things that we were looking for. The chef's food is cherry on the cake, the food that the chef served was too good and homely. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a nice & good place to chill. 5 stars deserving

It reminds you of your first day in hostel during college. Talking to mew people and learning about them. Time just flies here with the range of activities you get to choose from both indoor and outdoor. The evening bonfire beside the par vat river is a treat for both the eye and ears.
Plenty of game options and lots of fellow backpackers to talk to. The parvati flowing besides the hostel is a treat to the eye and the ear.

Rooms and cafe is good. They also have one pool table. Cafe food is good but they have slow service. 1 ordered 2 things and say that don't bring 2nd dish immediately. But after 1 hour of making they give me both dishes together. I requested to pack 2nd dish. They said ok but don't pack it and serve it. There chiefs way of speaking is also not good. But woofers manager was nice person. He handles his customers very nicely

This hostel is near to a river which is best location you will get in Kasol.

The location was amazing, place looks great and almost all the facilities are active, WiFi was never available, somehow my phone service was not behaving properly so I was more dependent on WiFi but it was hardly available, kitchen people little laid back and serve you at there own comfort, but the host was great and the place is otherwise welcoming.

This is my third time here. Very reasonable price and extremely good hospitality

The Hostel is nicely located and has a good vibe. Nature trails close by are nice attractions.

The Whoopers Hostel | Rooms & Dormss room are cozy. You will get a playroom on the ground floor where you have the option of playing different games. The room heather provided in double rooms seemed not so efficient and underpowered. Food was a bit costly but tasty.
